Jang Nara’s vacation photos

It’s been a while since we’ve heard about singer-actress Jang Nara (Sky and Ocean), who’s been busy in China and therefore out of the public eye back at home for long stretches of time. While there’s no news, exactly, this week she did upload a slew of new photos to her homepage, Nara Jjang, which show her vacationing in Jeju Island and in China.
Jang has been filming a Chinese drama recently, and after she wrapped that project, she headed to Jeju in early February, which she followed with a trip to Kunming in Yunnan, China. She’s currently spending time with family in Korea, and plans to return to China at the end of the month to begin filming a new Chinese drama and recording a new album.
It’s a little weird that Jang has faded so much from the Korean industry, considering how popular she was back in the early 2000’s in her Successful Story of a Bright Girl and My Love Patzzi days. Logistically speaking, I’m sure keeping active in one country is enough to keep a body plenty busy, and it seems she’s been very active over on the other side of the Yellow Sea. But now it seems she only resurfaces once in a blue moon before disappearing again for months (or years) at a time.
She’s also one of the actresses known for her perennially youthful face, along with Choi Kang-hee and Im Soo-jung. Hard to believe she turns 30 this month, isn’t it?

loool ok that really made my day! she's so adorable i love her! but it is very shocking to hear she's gonna be 30,i esp love that burger one, ice cream one and my Favorite one is the one where she's in her pajama's holding that piece of meat.. that's sooo hilarious!

I really love her and miss her so much!!!
I remember watching my bratty princess one of a chinese drama i laughted it's was really cute, unbelivable and interesting.

Bratty Princess part two is the drama mentioned that she returned to China to do, though she just finished what been called a spin off from that series before going on her holiday Unruly Qiao.
And yes Jang Nara is probably the only celebrity in history that has to wear make-up not to look younger but to try to look her age..[as in korean's fixation with age]

Wow!! my most favorite K-actress but I don't see much of her. I watched everything she did...My name came from Wedding's Lee Sena character and her last name.
She looks fabulous at 30!
@bjharm...thanks for all the extra info. I'm glad she gets to do Unruly Qiao....she did well in Bratty Princess series and I like the story also.

happy too..I tend to froth at the mouth a bit when Jang Nara mentioned..lol
There a page each up for her Chinese dramas Iron Masked Singer and Unruly Qiao over at Viikkii...she still has Racecourse to be released and then Bratty Princess 2 when she finished making it..so while those outside China may not see much of her, it just the opposite in China!

i think she lost a great deal of popularity in korea after starting her chinese career. i think she's feeling the lost when she tried to make a comeback last year but didn't do so well :( sucks!

I always felt it odd that every time she returns to Korea it called a 'comeback' Can not help feel it has something of a negative feeling about it..as if she done nothing of importance because she no longer works 'solely' in Korea, unless they wish to bring out the 'Hallyu' tag.
As for Sky and Ocean, well Korea seems the only country it didn't do well in, as it went on to earn her best actress in a foreign film award in China as well as awards at foreign film festivals. So it pretty clear that whatever the troubles the film had in Korea it had nothing to do with acting or how good the film was.
Frankly I always thought that due to right wing nationalist feeling from certain areas inside the Korean press she always been attacked in certain ways for a very long time, because of both her and her fathers interest and involvement with China over the years...
