Jung Woo-sung confirms romance with Lee Jia

Another star romance is born! Rumors have been swirling for the past week, but movie star Jung Woo-sung has officially confirmed his romance with Athena co-star Lee Jia, much to what I imagine is a lot of chagrin from his legions of fans.
The news initially hit the media after it was discovered that the couple recently enjoyed a date together in Paris. After the initial rounds of “no comment” from both stars’ management teams, on March 20, Jung wrote the following message on his official website: “Hello, this is Jung Woo-sung. I’ve met a new friend for whom I have warm feelings, and we’ve been enjoying spending time together since the latter half of our drama.”
(It may sound like a vague message, considering “new friend” and “enjoying time together” can sound ambiguous in English, but in this context it is essentially an open declaration. An acknowledgement of rumors instead of strong denial is about as clear a confirmation as we’ll ever get.)
Apparently this was the first time Jung Woo-sung has personally alluded to romance rumors in his career. He reconfirmed the news at his fanmeeting later that day in Seoul — the 20th is Jung’s 38th birthday — when a fan asked what in particular he liked about Lee Jia. Jung answered, “I can talk to her easily. I liked that about her.”
Another fan asked what his thoughts on marriage were, and he said, “If I marry, I’d like to have two children.” An attendee described his behavior thusly: “Jung Woo-sung was shy as he confessed that he’s dating. He said he’s happy. He looked really bright and innocent. The fans were all very surprised at first, but they clapped in congratulations.”
With this news, join the smallish group of star couples who have openly admitted their dating status, such as Yoo Ji-tae and Kim Hyo-jin, Park Hee-soon and Park Ye-jin, and Se7en and Park Han-byul. Hm, with the dissolution of the Hyun Bin/Song Hye-gyo pairing (and the rumors of Choi Ji-woo splitting from Lee Jin-wook), does this make Jung Woo-sung and Lee Jia the new reigning power couple?

I adore Paris in the Springtime. Actually any time of the year! One of my favorite places to visit. They sure dress sloppy as a couple. Glad he came out about his romance instead of denying it.

Biz or eco it's still the same flight with the same risk on life. Only the seat comfi and food is different. After all it's the airline food. Air sickness can waste the food that you paid for Biz class.

Maybe LJA does not want to waste money. I have seen her video clips on "LOVE" where she visited Philippines, she is a kind hearted person and maybe being thrifty and save money to help the poor is her ulterior motive. As what "bluebelle" stated biz or eco still have same flight.Biz is just more comfi.

Whoever she choose to be in relationship, I just wish for her happiness and I do hope that JWS is sincere to her. Though it seems that LJA is a tough girl/lady but to me she is so fragile. Wishing them luck and again happiness.

I'm really suprised at some of the comments here. You talk as though you're JWS's mom or dad giving their approval on his girlfriend/wife/whatever. Sorry to break your bubble, but he's free to court whoever he wants; even his parents can't do anything about that. And implying that LJA may not be good enough 'cos she's a bad actress or had plastic surgery is just plain bitchiness. And why bring up CJW? I don't know what's with people's obsession with who's got what done. If you're a fan, just be supportive and stop being such sour grapes, sheesh!

They got busted. He had to say something. Could he say, for instance, 'it was only a roll in the hay'? Of course not. Or it could have been a plant to boost ratings. Why would some random person in Paris know either of these two. We'll see where it goes. I don't hear wedding bells.
I love JWS. He's an impressive film actor and I'm sorry he picked Athena as his first drama in 17 years. He should have stuck to film.

To gain more audience in drama, I guess.
About a month ago, several independent experts ranging from PD to university professors were asked to rate him as an actor. according to them, he scored well in what the PD wants him to be, but he did not have much depth of understanding of the character, he was portraying. He obtained less than 60% in their scale.
I guess, this relates to his deficiency in education. When it comes to major decision making, and to obtain greater stardom, I believe you can see a lot of shortcomings. That's where he needs LJA's assistance!!

anyway, good for Lijia & Ju congrats, what i'd like to hear next is Song seung with Kim tae hee wahhhhh that'll be the happiest news ever! considering SSH admits on t.v. entertainment news i guess that was, that his type is KTH, i think he cldnt bottled it up in his system anymore so there you go. I know we've read his type previously was Han ga in maybe to play safe coz she's married to his friend! :)

I also like Lee ji ah when I first saw her in The Legend, much kudos of course to her very nice and strong character. I don't know JWS too but I see him in award ceremonies and think that he looks really handsome. And I agree with all of the really level-headed people here that we don't really have a say on who our fave actors want to date and that our lives go on whether they date, get married, have kids, live happily ever after, get divorced or whatever. I think the point here is to just be happy for people who are in love, it's hard to find love these days so to see people who are in love it's really a pretty sight. :-)
