Best Love’s couple together for poster shoot

Haha, these two look so mismatched…and so very disgruntled about it…that it cracks me up.
In the Hong sisters’ new romantic-comedy Best Love, which premieres in about two weeks, Cha Seung-won and Gong Hyo-jin play two celebrities who are just about diametric opposites. He’s beloved by all and at the top of his game, while she’s got a bad reputation and a career on the wane. So what happens when you pair them up on a dating variety show? Hopefully, tons of outrageousness, hilarity, and sparks.
That grimace on Gong’s face reminds me of her perpetually dissatisfied, socially awkward character in Crush and Blush, so I can definitely see her playing this unconventional heroine with a lot of energy and quirky charm. As for Cha Seung-won’s popular and adored character, is he… frontin’?
The drama premieres May 4. Can’t wait!

I really, really hope that javabeans and girlfriday decide to recap this drama.
It looks great, and because I've always enjoyed watching the Hong sisters' dramas at least once, I'm sure that this will be worth watching once, although I am hoping for much, much more.
Can't wait to see what kind of chemistry Gong Hyo Jin and Cha Seung Won have. I have liked each of them in most of their projects and can't wait to see how they are together.

I don't know how to feel about this. Part of me is excited because I get to see Cha Seung-won again, but part of me is also scared of this new mix. Cha was sooooo good in City Hall that I don't want to be disappointed; I just want to freeze him in that role with Kim Sun Ah. I wasn't impressed with Gong Hyo-jin in Pasta, so I just hope she doesn't mess things up...But as I am in need of a new K-drama to obsess over, I hope it is good.

You know what I'm looking forward to the most? The chibi's. (Is there a Korean word for that?) The Hong sisters often use those cute animated characters in their dramas (Choon Hyang and Gumiho as part of the intro/commercial breaks and You're Beautiful as merchandise in the drama itself). I hope they do it again because Gong Hyo-Jin is going to make one CUTE chibi.

Cha Seung Won is soo hottt!!! But I wonder what this drama would be like if the male lead was a younger guy, like the writers originally planned the male lead to be. I think the original script had a Joongbo/Lettuce Couple-esque relationship planned. I think it's more realistic that way. After all, Gong Hyojin plays a star that's faded from the limelight. It makes sense that her popular fake husband on the reality show would be a younger guy currently basking in the public's affections. But I'm not really fan of noona-dongsaeng dramas, so I'm glad it turned out like this!! I'm prepared to squeal and hyperventilate whenever Cha Seung Won asserts his manliness and shows off his macho-ness, lol. Bring on the shower scenes!!
