I figured it would be her or MGY since they were both in one of his season's dramas and he likes to use the same people, they were the same age as jang, and have the ability to act (especially MGY). But with MGY being his most recent drama partner and currently focused on her studies I figured Han would be the more likely choice.

As much as I loved seeing MGY/JGS/KJW on screen together, this kind of makes me wish Mary never happened and the two joined up for this instead.

1st- That pic of JGS. I could totally get into him if he rocks that look for Love Rain. He was very good in YAB, but I wasn't attracted to him.

2nd- Han Hyo Joo. No Thanks. What about Jung So Min? Or Shin Min Ah. Or Seo Woo. Who cares about age if the actress looks young enough? I want TALENT.

GASP!! This is like, AWESOME. For me anyway. I adore Han Hyo-joo to pieces, and of course, Jang Geun Seok is well, Jang Geun Seok. The two of them together?! I hope this is true!!!!

I like his look... long hair, grungy, bald... i'll take him as is!

He looks really good in this short buzzed haircut. So much better than that strange oatmeal quaker grandpa hairdo I saw him in at a recent fanmeet.

but reading the basic plot of LRtR,I think it will be somehow similar to the movie The Classic..remember? love stories interconnected of two generations?

I'll watch this drama for JKS's new hair. That is all.

Agree with the ones who say, HHJ is indeed pretty and has got this very affable, relatable aura to her, but her acting is limited and something like, once you've seen it, you've seen all of it thing. I guess the director is more into casting popular actors than anything else.
One thing I notice is that, korean actresses are very good in "crying" scenes, I mean almost all of 'em could do it, but very few could actually elicit emotion out of it.

I love the Nonstop 4/5 association between the two actors, and I think Jang Geun Suk is overdue to play that severe, glum melo-guy. Here's a promotion they did together a few months ago.

The idea for the TVB drama was good. I wasn't particularly thrilled with the casting. Joe Ma and Charmaine Sheh are not particularly great actors in my mind, but that's just purely my opinion. Charmaine plays four characters that are 4 women from 4 different generations in the same family, while Joe Ma was playing a different, non-related character for each of the 4 generations.

I think Jang Geun Seok and Han Hyo Joo would fare better in Love Rides the Rain.

i think hhj acting is not bad at all, she is really good actress, i've seen hundred kdrama n also hhj works i still really dont understand why someone says her act limited...come on guys be fair on her and those awards, are singapore judges to baeksang was blind n imcapability...ps. im not a fan of her, so this is just an opinion from kdrama lover

She's a good actress and I like her. I was impressed over her previous dramas like Shining Inheritance and Iljimae. If she's doing a melodrama with Jang Geun Suk then it suits for her, that's her specialty anyway!

i dont agree they will be in a drama together...Han hyo joo is for seung gi...they are great couple in brilliant legacy and also good friend in real life
