Lee Chung-ah at Flower Boy Ramyun Shop’s teaser shoot

I know I’ve done my share of squealing over Jung Il-woo (49 Days), hero of the new tvN romantic comedy Flower Boy Ramyun Shop…and yes, maybe more than my share, at that. But I’m not forgetting the heroine, played by the funny and talented Lee Chung-ah (Accidental Couple, Pure Pumpkin Flower), who looks downright adorable in these photos taken from the set of the drama’s teaser shoot.
In the drama, Lee Chung-ah plays a former volleyball player and current gym class student teacher at a high school, which is a bit of a tweak from earlier descriptions. (Perhaps the character was modified, or perhaps the initial reports were just vague.) Somehow, she ends up running a ramyun shop alongside her high-school-chaebol hero (Jung Il-woo), falls into a love triangle with him and her talented chef (Lee Ki-woo), and manages the staff of high school pretty boys.
Not a bad life, eh? The setup is just rife with potential for inappropriate crushes, hilariously awkward moments between (student) teacher and student(s), and adorable characters. It sounds like a hoot.
Lee said of her role, “I chose this drama because the character is so appealing, but now I’ve totally fallen for the charm of my fellow actors. It makes me think of when I filmed the movie Temptation of Wolves, and it makes me want to reappear as that character in Flower Boy Ramyun Shop. I hope you’ll look forward to it.”
Flower Boy Ramyun Shop premieres on October 31.

I love her...she's so full of expression and her acting is so alive...though she was just a support in accidental couple, but everytime she was on scree, she stole the show....

Exactly, she was the only non-gorgeous person in 'Temptation of Wolves' and it didn't help I found the characters personality annoying --which made it SOO ANNOYING.
I am happier she looks cute and hopefully her personality will be fun here

oh no, please don't. I personally didn't like her character much in that movie. she started off spunky but became so uninteresting and annoying towards the end, or maybe it was the movie itself that went from awesome-land to dull-sville... can't remember.
Anyhow, LCA is gorgeous, this drama is going to be an eye-candy galore. yum.

Wow...she has grown up since TOWs...her character there was a little meh. Everyone got overtaken by the awesomeness of Kang Dong Won. Speaking of TOWs...every time I see an image of SuJu's Ryewook from the musical of it I die laughing. He definitely does not fit the image of either character.

Good people, please explain one thing to me: what is it about celebrities of all ages pouting on photographs? Is it a culture-bound behaviour? Is it supposed to convey any meesge or what? To me it looks a bit annoying and totally unattractive, but the stars and starlets seem feel obliged to do it. Why?

it's the "aegyo-ness" i guess. people (somehow) think that it makes them look adorable. sure, if you're 5. i find it OK if you only do it once in your pictures, but if you end up with 10 of the same face, then it gets annoying fast.

Saw her in a variety show and she struck me as a totally 4D character which was hilarious ... I liked her TOW but agree with the person above who said everyone just got owned by KDW in the end, because, really - who the hell would be focusing on anyone else when there's such awesomeness in your face?!
She looks cute here though so I'm looking forward to this!

I love Lee Chung-ah. She was so cute in Accidental Couple - she's one of the few actresses who can do cute without being annoying.

Wow, this is the main actress form Temptation of the Wolves? She was a total plain Jane in that movie (which is why I adored her with a burning passion). What happened to her? She looks so pretty in the shots that I'm disappointed. :P

This makes me EVEN MORE excited! At first I was just going to watch this for Jung Il Woo, but now that I recognize Lee Chung Ah (cause of this entry's reminder), this makes me more excited for it :D. And I recognize Lee Ki Woo from "He Was Cool" movie.
