reminds me of how song il-gook named his triplets: dae-han, min-gook, man-sae. which i thought was rather cute, and meaningful too. hehe

The names are hilarious. And kind of sad too. Overly patriotic dad is overly patriotic. And idiotic, by the sound of it.

I don't appreciate the jealousy thrown in there for the villain though. I think hate over his sister's death would have made for a very human and interesting villain. But the minute they throw in jealousy over a woman, he becomes a petty caricature, which we have enough of in Dramaland.

So, disappointed with that, but looking forward to the ajeossi fights.

Onboard with everything except the Yoona casting, especially as she is supposed to a young mother. I hope to be proven wrong...but I dont see that pairing.

Well, that did it. Now I have to watch this one. With each guy signing on the fact that I'm pretty meh about the ladies seems to matter less and less.

Ryu Jin is totally my ajusshi crush. Adore him in everything even Standby where he was completely underused.

So in-spite of a very questionable lead pairing, I'll tune in for all the side characters. And maybe some cute little kids.

The more I hear about this show, the more interesting it gets. I'll certainly keep an eye out for it and hope that its romantic storyline works out well. There's nothing better than subverting expectations.

Maybe this will work! I hope so :)

I'm just a little disappointed because while I like everyone in this kdrama, Yoona just isn't right for it. I like Yoona well enough, but her vibe just doesn't fit everyone else's. Lee Beom soo, Ryu Jin, and Chae jung ahn all have a more mature vibe about them whereas frankly, Yoona can still be convincing as a high school or college student. There is also the 20 year age gap between Yoona and Lee Beom boo so there's the issue of whether they'll have any on screen chemistry at all. I mean, I think it's a hard obstacle to overcome even when you have two good actors (remember Moon geun young and Park shin yang in Painter of the Wind?). But I guess I can give it a try and hope for the best....

As far out as the kids' names sound...there was a celebrity a few years ago who named his triplet boys "Dae-han", "Min-gook", and "Man-sae" (Long live the Republic of Korea). I believe it was Song Il-gook, actually, but someone had better double-check.

OK. Can they please just recast Yoon-ah? If they did, then I could actually get really excited about this show!

Ack. Ryu Jin is joining this show! Ok, now getting a bit more excited about this show for the side characters and Lee Bum Soo.

My biggest problem with Yoona's casting is in my odd mind she's not old enough to be a young mother. Logically I know there are mothers younger than her age of twenty three but still in my mind no one has kids before they're thirty or thirty five. Told you my mind was odd.

With the exception of Yoona, the line up is looking great. Don't get me wrong, I love her as an idol and don't think she's as bad as people make her to be but she seems so out of place here. Even my mom, who is a huge an of both Sound of Music and Yoona, doesn't want Yoona to take the role either lol. She said Yoona should be the eldest daughter instead! Anyway, still looking forward to this. I hope the odd main couple will somehow works :|

I'm cackling at the childern's names! Woori Nara Manseh! These are cute yet so silly. Also, I just found out that primeminister's name is Kwon Yul. Ha.

Yes, I know Kwon Yul is most likely after the legendary general but Kwon Yul (or rather Kwon Yuri) is also the other half of "YoonYul" a.k.a Yoona's biggest SNSD otp ship. I bet those YoonYul shippers are at least happy with the name lol

This drama is very interesting.Mr Lee bum soo is my favorite actor, and Yoona is one of the best actresses idols and most beautiful. I'm sure she can do it, very well. she is bright!
As for the rest of the cast all like me.

The age difference is big, it makes more interesting. wow!...I'll give them a chance as couple ;)

The script has to be good, hasn't it? Otherwise, I cannot imagine why Ryu Jin and Lee Beom Soo sign on. Both are in a position were they do not need to take everything that comes their way and proof themselves!
So I am very hopeful for this drama!

Now I have to give this a try! /le sighs. I hope the story and the acting is good enough for me to stick around.

Ryu jin is a good veteran actor, Yoona is one of the best young actress idol, and Lee Bum Soo is one of the best veteran actor.
