Jung Kyeo-woon in talks to join God’s Gift–14 Days

Exactly how many leading men will Lee Bo-young have in this drama? Not that it would exactly be torturous to have her be surrounded by guys all drama long. On the heels of Jo Seung-woo (Horse Healer) and Kim Tae-woo (That Winter, the Wind Blows) signing on to her new drama God’s Gift—14 Days, now we’ve got Jung Kyeo-woon (Wonderful Mama) being courted to join the ranks. I wouldn’t have pegged him for a second lead (or third, who knows at this point), but perhaps it’s an interesting role.

The new SBS Monday-Tuesday drama is a time-slip thriller starring Lee Bo-young as a mother whose young daughter gets kidnapped and killed. She gets a chance to go back in time two weeks before the incident, and has to race to save her before she dies all over again. Jo Seung-woo will play a private investigator who helps her when she goes back in time, and Kim Tae-woo plays her husband, a human rights lawyer who’s passionate about his work and is by all counts a loving husband and father. But he’ll harbor a secret that already has me worried.

Jung Kyeo-woon is considering a role as the heroine’s first love, a detective in the violent crimes division. He graduated the police academy at the top of his class and is already known as future police commissioner material. His first love will come to him out of nowhere and beg him to find the suspect who will kill her daughter in two weeks’ time. Whoa, talk about your strange requests. Still, he’ll get sucked into the case and help her in the mad dash to save her daughter, likely putting his career on the line.

God’s Gift—14 Days follows Warm Words and premieres in February.

I don't know exactly what to expect..it's just sounds so similar to Two Weeks.Hope they will be able to present something new in the story other than the time traveling..which isn't anything new anymore.

Despite the similarities to Two Weeks, it's all in execution, so I'm hopeful...though a little nervous the focus might shift from her saving her daughter's life with the help of three (reasonably attractive) men to three men posturing and impeding her from doing so. Don't go there Show! I believe in you!

But he was cool in History of A Salaryman so my objection is rather small. ^__^

Its been too long since I've seen him, tooo long!

But Seung Woo is also playing a detective, isn't that one too many... I hope not.
I sure hope they won't focus too much on the romance side... But I was thinking that Lee Bo-young would have a husband in Kim tae-woo, a possible love-interest in the cute Seung woo and a first love who is Jung kyeo-woon. Isn't she lucky?!

I haven't followed Lee Bo-Young's dramas much, but apparently it takes a whole lot of hunky men to keep her company on screen. Whatever she's got, she must have plenty of it.

I kind of thought I knew all the Korean actors by now but these three don't look familiar at all. I even googled images. But none of them looked familiar.

I enjoy time travel dramas. I can never have enough of them. I like LBY. Hopefully, there will be a lot of tension but not too much melodrama. Something like NINE. That was a well told time travel stuff.

I am looking forward to this one. I wish it had male actors that I recognized.

But then I did not know the Shark lead before I saw Shark either. Though, it did not compel me to watch his other dramas.

maybe it's because you are new to kdrama world or you don't watch many dramas, i don't know internationally but in korea these actors are pretty well known, jo seung woo is a bonafide movie star who mostly play movies, his movie Tazza: the high rollers is one of the highest grossing korean movie of all time, i first saw him in the movie love phobia and instantly fell in love with him, he recently returned to small screen in the drama called Horse Doctor which was a ratings hit, kim tae woo has been in movies and dramas alike and he was recently in That winter, jung kyeon woo has played leading roles in dramas such as Romance Town, Dr Champ, Wonderful Mama etc, and the actor from Shark you're talking about is very popular in Korea as well as other asian countries. His name is Kim Nam Gil and he shot to fame through his role of Bidam in the popular drama Queen Seon Deok, the dramas ratings crossed over 40%, he was so loved by the viewers that the writer had to change the script for him so that he and Queen Seon Deok would become a couple in the drama...
