I'm really not a fan of the original which had a bitch of a female lead. But I think HJW can make her a lot more endearing so I'm on board to try out a few episodes. I didn't like FTLY's T-version and thought the K-remake was a lot better (at least the first half) but the leads were so fabulous it made up for the crappy script.

Hopefully they'll pick a good costar for HJW. I'm forever going to hope for Binnie, because that chemistry is irreplaceable! But if that's not possible, Go Soo and Rain would be awesome. I'd love Jang Hyuk too, but given SOGC's scheduling, even if he did back to back dramas, I don't think this is a possibility.

ITWY was a great show, but the will-they-won't-they dynamic was a tad too frustrating at times (hopefully they'll tone it down a notch in the remake).

Plus point, this one's great as a remake 'cause the theme of friend-turn-lovers is universal and it doesn't have any cultural hurdles I could think of, and fingers crossed they'll have a great OST like the original.

Not that worried about the Full House writer, since, well, FH's based on a meh manhwa so it's not like it's an original work, and I did adore Attic Cat lots.

I loved In Time With You so much I can't expect the Korean version to be better. I'm really not sure... but Ha Ji Won in it ?

I would definitely go for Jo In Sung. This two just need to reunite again. Great acting and sizzling chemistry just like in what happened in bali. And that was what 10 yrs ago? So theyre much much much better, of not best, actors now. So Jo In Sung plEasssssseeee.

My other choices are KDW (I saw sizzling chemistry between them in Duelist) or SJS. JSW and SSH are not bad too.

As long as we're all crossing fingers for leading men, I want Jung Woo! Gong Yoo is adorable, but way too hot to play a clueless guy next door. Nobody in a 100 mile radius of me looks like him lol. I think Jung Woo looks relatable, while being innocent and adorable like Li Da Ren/Chen Bolin was.

Oh man best friends are my favorite type of romance fiction too, I was actually just considering watching this. I typically prefer kdramas a bit over taiwanese, though. So I'm very excited!

I have a kinda inward feeling that LEE MIN HO will be the lead 4 this drama...
These could be some reasons 2 back up my feeling... ;)

I really love Bottom of the 9th With 2 Outs. The romance was kind of frustrating but it was really sweet when they ended up together.

Chun Jung Myung and Ha Ji Won please!

Not familiar with the original series, but HJW's work is always entertaining. I am really not very picky about the male lead, except I hope it won't be JIS, the guy may be sweet and all, however his neurotic acting and crazy eyes scare me!! Anyone but JIS is fine with me!

Perfect casting for the main three actors would have to be Ha Ji Won as Cheng You Qing, Gong Yoo as Li Da Ren (they even look alike) and Song Seung-Heon as Ding Li Wei (holy hotness).

Ha Ji Won would have to step-up her romantic acting chops especially for the kissing scenes but the heat that could be generated from this trio would be crazy intense!!

I'm so excited to see this because as far as I remember, HJW hasn't done modern-day bitchy cold successful female. This will be a big deviation from her past characters. I believe she'll do well so I hope she'll co-start with an equally capable leading man that's in his thirties.

I love love looove In Time With You, it's one of my all-time favorite dramas! And I also love Ha Ji Won a lot! So imagine my excitement now that her name's been attached to the remake. I hope to god that she decides to take this role because I can't see anyone else right now who would be more perfect as You Qing than Ha Ji Won. :D

Now, as for the male lead, like many others here I wish it'll be Gong Yoo. I don't know how likely that'll be but, hey, a girl can dream, right? If not, then I feel So Ji Sub or Joo Sang Wook would make a good Li Da Ren. I'd be willing to take Go Soo, Hyun Bin or Lee Jung Jin, too. As long as it won't be some 20-something actor then I'm sure I'll find a way to get on board.

I'm not so sure about the writer and production team though but I really hope they do this justice. It'd be such a waste not to. :(

LEE min ho for the lead actor

Totally my favorite Taiwanese drama, hands down. I'm not sure I really see Ha Ji Won in this kind of role (even though I love her), but if she signs on, she best of one neck of a leading man. I like the idea of Gong Yoo, actually. Good suggestion.

OMG YESSS

1) MY FAVOURITE TW DRAMA OF ALL TIME. (Even thought it tanked towards the end)
2) I DIDN'T KNOW THAT IT WAS POPULAR IN KOREA TOO.
3) BUT

a) I'm afraid that they're going to exaggerate it. 7000 days as hook?
b) The original drama was absolutely perfect because of the low-key scenes with amazing atmosphere created by a super deft and detailed writer. How is anyone gonna remake that?
c) A lot of the themes and what I liked about the drama is so essentially taiwanese that I wonder how a korean take would be able to rewrite it in a korean perspective.

I'm half excited and half wary of this. BUT IT'S STILL GOOD NEWS.

Umm..I watched the Taiwanese version and I love it! HJW with Gong Yoo is not a bad choice.

My main concern is the writer. What have been his recent works? All Ive heard about him is his Full House (2004) project which I don't like. Terrible writings can mess things up no matter how good the actors are. HJW is my fav and I hope the script wouldn't ruin things for her.

I can't wait to see who plays Bolin's part, then Sunny's (Ariel's ex) too. Oh man, can't wait.
