The ghost makes its first appearance for Bring It On, Ghost

It’s only the briefest of teasers, but our first look at tvN’s fantasy-ghost-romance Bring It On, Ghost manages to squeeze in a bit of a chill. The video starts off with a happy-looking Kim So-hyun, telling us that on July 11, “A ghost appears at tvN.”
Then the screen flashes, and her image intercuts with a freakish ghost’s face — since, of course, she plays the ghost in the show, here to fight it out with hero Taecyeon. He plays the exorcist who can’t get rid of this one ghost who comes to live with him, and conflict and hijnks ensue. And romance too, though I can’t figure out how on earth they’d make that loveline a happy one. I have a feeling I’d watch just to find that out, so they’d better deliver. (I have a lot of choice words prepared in case they don’t. Don’t make me use them!)
I know it’s been a trend to have ghosts intermingling with rom-com plotlines (Master’s Sun, Oh My Ghostess, My Chilling Romance), and it’s a newer twist on the old dramaland trend of programming horror projects in the summertime (to ward off the heat with all the supernatural thrills, was the idea). I just hope that the drama delivers plenty of fun, clever entertainment and lets Kim So-hyun run wild as the ghost who was so fixated on her studies in life that she only figures out how to live once she’s dead. Hey, better late than never?
Bring It On, Ghost premieres on July 11 as tvN’s next Monday-Tuesday drama.

I was enjoying the teaser after watching AOHY ep 12, thinking what drama is up for kim so hyun??
then the ghost came up..
I blink my eye, think it was really some strange phenomenon on me
only to realize that's the drama about.
The effect scare me so much without warning

I manged to avoid seeing the scary face. Then it's screenshot here. I am NOT going to watch it. Too scarey for me. Although this sentence could apply to Taec's acting.

to be fair, the standard for him is so low that if he manages to successfully generate more than one facial expression, his fans will probably declare him an actor on par with Kim So-hyun.

Just saw the bts photo where taec wearing shorts is acting with ksh in mini skirts..already feeling the eww factor is there..lurking.

The Master's Sun is still my favorite rom-com with ghost plot ever, but I'll check this drama for her

The thing is, when I watched the teaser I thought it wasn't that scary. The scene was like a 'blink-and-you'll-miss' kind of thing.
And then I see the screencaps and i'm like... I'm so done. I'm not gonna watch this show.

I'm a huge scaredddy cat, but I will watch this for SoHyun and hope that it will be good, I trust her and TvN.
I've been reading bad stuffs about the male lead's ability to act but I hope, he's not that bad. Please do a good job Taecyeon-ssi. So we'll be able to enjoy the drama!

My prediction is that, he can't get rid of her bc she's in a coma. Once he helps her and her ghost self goes back into her body, she won't remember him at first, then maybe she'll slowly remember him through small interactions.

It sounds similar to Pinocchio(webtoon) where the guy ghost wasn't really a ghost but a wandering soul whose body is alive and kicking but lacking with some memories which are possessed by the ghost. Well, as far as I can remember the guy tried suicide. (Sounds complicated huh. I suggest reading Pinocchio by Maru. It's a good one!) :-)

I can do this. If I watched Nightmare Teacher and ignored the plot holes for Kim Sohyun, I can endure Taec's acting. Hey, he was entertaining in variety and seems like a nice guy. Not that it has to do with acting, but Bring It On, Taec.

Honestly, I think they're gonna crank down the romance factor since they know age gap is a huge factor here. They already changed Taec's charcter from a high school student to a college student who's returned from military, meaning he's at least 21 or 22 opposite to 17 year old female lead.

Yup. I agree. Too bad, the first meeting of Bong pal and Hyunji?(Ghost) in the webtoon was so hilarious. They brawled and cursed at each other which later caused them to KISS! Since KSH is young maybe it is impossible. I just hope they maintain its comedy.

Seriously is Kim sohyun will do a drama with the same hair style for milion zillion billion time? not like another actress who do make over with their hairs syle in every dramas. Looks at Park shin hye, Yoon eun hye, Hwang Jung Eum ect for the the caracter sake !!

I've watched her in all her recent works.... taec... not so much... i see the concern about the age gap thing and i really do wish they would've chosen someone who wad close to her age and had better acting chops... (d.o or jisung anyone?)

I am looking forward to any of Kim Sohyun drama since School 2015 tbh because she's that g00d. But then I kinda resist because no matter how positive I am, a love line between Kim Sohyun and Taec is just YIKES.
But what if drama gods actually make Taecyeon and Kim Sohyun go brother-sister way and Kim Sohyun ACTUALLY has a real love line with another character, idk any role opened up for Jisoo???

I'm pretty lily livered, but if the horror elements of BIOG are about like what we got in Master's Sun, I can handle them, so will definitely be tuning in. We already know Kim So Hyun is a pretty good young actress, but Taecyeon's acting record has been rather spotty. Still, I think he'll probably do pretty good here, as the role won't likely require much in the way of heavy lifting. A summer rom-com with a side of amusement park horror may be just the ticket. Bring it on show!

I've already watch the teaser on Kim Sohyun's Instagram yesterday and it didn't freak me at all. It's not that scary.
Since I'm used to watch horror movies, I wish for more serious horror genre but I know that I won't get it here. They clearly mentioned that it's a fantasy-horror-romance-comedy.
Kim Sohyun is a little magnet that makes me want to follow her dramas but Taecyeon's name is a turn off. I like him in variety shows but BIG NO NO to his acting. I'm already scared imagining him "act" in this show.
