Late night car rides and parkside flirtations in Introverted Boss teasers

Can someone get me a time-traveling walkie-talkie, incense stick, or rock-portal? Because after seeing the adorable promo teasers for tvN’s Introverted Boss, I need it to be January 16 right now. The upcoming drama is an office romance, about the love story between an extremely timid office chief and his new super friendly, extroverted employee. But those are inadequate words for how cute this show looks to be.

Yeon Woo-jin (Divorce Lawyer in Love) plays the titular boss of a successful PR company who is so shy that he hides himself at all possible times, avoiding all eye contact so that his workers hardly even know what he looks like. Park Hye-soo (Age of Youth) stars as his love interest, a very direct and outspoken new hire at the company who initially approaches him with a hidden motive of revenge.

In one of the most recently released teasers, Yeon Woo-jin and Park Hye-soo are inside a darkened car, and he shyly offers to fasten her seatbelt. Just as his arm reaches around her, she suddenly panics, thinking that he might have a wolfish side, and she lowers her seat till she’s practically lying down. At the end, we see Park Hye-soo’s embarrassed and disappointed face, regretting her impulsive retreat, while Yeon Woo-jin drives on, unaware of her inner dilemma.

The second teaser starts off romantically, with Park Hye-soo and Yeon Woo-jin sitting close together on an isolated park bench. She coyly says that it’s cold outside, and smiling, he wraps a scarf around her, moving in for a kiss. But seconds later, it’s revealed that the scene is all in her own fantasy, while in reality he gently herds her into a taxi alone. As the cab drives off, we see Yeon Woo-jin berating himself for his introverted nature, while Park Hye-soo scoffs that he sent her home because she said it was cold out.

Monday-Tuesday workplace rom-com Introverted Boss starts on January 16 on tvN.

Woow Park Hye Seo, can't believe she's the same girl who played the shy, naive character in AOY.

This drama sounds fun, i love it when the girl takes the lead and the guy who's the timid.

This seems really fun and cute! I love how panicky our introverted boss is. Can't wait for him to come out of his shell and for everyone to get to know each other. I'm finally watching Age of Youth and I'm already loving it (I'm on episode 4 and I can't believe how likable the girls are! The chef and college boy are cute, too). I can now see what people meant when they said Park Hye-soo's playing the opposite of her Youth character. Haha, it's gonna be a hoot to see the difference! Oh, the chef from Youth is in this drama, too!? He's gonna be romancin' her?

Yes I was also going to mention weight loss but he wasnt even "overweight" to begin with....Your right though the cheeks are gone and as someone mentioned below he doesnt even look like his CAMEO in OHY but he does look super adorable this way...

So I'm not the only one? I definitely think the hairstyle is a huge part of it. He didn't even really look old in MnD or anything, it's just that now he looks almost as young as he did in Ojakkyo Bros! I'm even more surprised because of how different he looks from his recent Oh Hae Young cameo.

Honestly, even though I adored Gong Gi-tae's slicked-back hair because it went perfectly with his cocky, sarcastic attitude, I find him pretty damn adorable like this. I'm loving the change and am definitely anticipating his character here.

My first thought: Hey! It's the OHYA bridge!

I guess that's to be expected though, given it's the same PD ?

Park Hye Soo looks beyond adorable. I can't wait.

I just finished watching Age of Youth and I'm really curious how Park Hye-soo will act as an extrovert since she was perfect as the introverted Eun-jae. Also, really excited for Yoon Park! He was meh in Come Back Mister but was awesome in Age of Youth. I guess I like the scruffier version of Yoon Park better. And of course Yeon Woo-jin. Looking forward to his return to the small screen!

This looks like it's going to be totally fun!

On a different note, I suddenly want a nice, soft scarf to wrap it around just like Yeon Woo-jin has. ..... How do you do that exactly?? I can never get it quite right!

I think I need to fly to Seoul to figure out the appropriate scarf-wrapping technique. Heh!
