Announcement: Dramabeans is getting a makeover

A new Dramabeans is on its way! We’ve been talking for months about a redesigned Dramabeans with upgraded features, and we’re excited to inform you that we’re finally (finally!) ready to roll it out this weekend.
We will be making the switch over to the new site this Friday night/Saturday ungodly hours of morning, which means that during the transition period, we will be disabling the commenting functions on the site and not posting new content until we’ve made it over to the other side. Fingers crossed, the new site will be up and running by Saturday (America time zones), and you will be able to resume commenting on posts.
On the new and improved Dramabeans, you’ll also be able to sign up for accounts, configure profile pages, and more good stuff, which we will explain in more detail once we make the crossover. Till then, wish us good luck!

I haven't been watching a lot of dramas or reading recaps lately but I keep coming back here specifically in anticipation of the new website revamp! I've been coming here around 2010/2011 when I was a sophomore or junior in highschool, and man... I can't believe that's already 7 years!! What the heck!
I'm sure I wouldn't have stuck with kdrams quite as much if I hadn't had Dramabeans, so I'm so grateful for this site and cherish it greatly. I am super excited for this new "era" (at least in design and function) so to speak!

You know what would be fun ... if you had a tentative calendar of upcoming dramas, with a quick synopsis and main characters. It'll generate excitement for that drama.

Amazing!! This is so exciting. I've been reading this site for soooo long, I don't remember when I started. I commented here and there when you guys were recapping dramas that I love.
Basically dramabeans is already like a community, so I guess your goal is to transform your site and fully adapt it to become a true community.
i hope we can bring ideas for content!
I have one... Can we organize a contest for scriptwriting ? For example, a contest for Kdramas scriptwriters... That would be so awesome. I would try to participate for sure. Anyway, just an idea ^^
