Reunited friends and reunited loves for Reunited Worlds

I’m looking forward to the dreamy atmosphere of this drama, if the teasers and posters are anything to go by. Fantasy romance drama Reunited Worlds released a second teaser featuring a dreamlike reunion between our leads Yeo Jin-gu (Circle) and Lee Yeon-hee (Hwajeong), who were best friends and first loves, tragically separated by death.
That’s what Lee Yeon-hee’s character (Jung-won) grows up believing, anyway—that Yeo Jin-gu’s character (Hae-sung) died in a car accident when they were 19. Until one day Hae-sung reappears in her life, not having aged a day in twelve years. The newest teaser hints at her living with guilt after his accident, for thinking that he somehow died because of her. As scenes of Hae-sung in high school and Jung-won in the present day flash by, Hae-sung says in voiceover, “It’s not your fault. Jung-won, I didn’t die because of you!”
She tends to his badly wounded body in shock, and then visits his ashes and calls out his name to the sky. In the halls of their high school, younger Jung-won (played by Jung Chae-yeon, Drinking Solo) calls out to him too, and then their moments together are intercut: Younger Jung-won fixes his hair and wipes the sweat from his temple, and he’s startled by her touch. In the present, it’s Hae-sung who reaches out to wipe a tear from adult Jung-won’s face and goes to hug her. She says in voiceover, “Every single day… I missed you, Hae-sung.”
The new drama from the PD-writer team behind Girl Who Sees Smells and Beautiful Gong Shim will be about how 19-year-old Hae-sung heals everyone he reunites with, including the rest of his high school friends, played by Kim Jin-woo (Remember–Son’s War) and Lee Shi-un (My Sassy Girl), and his two younger siblings, played by Kwak Dong-yeon (Moonlight Drawn By Clouds) and Kim Ga-eun (Jackpot).
I’m dying of curiosity to know what the element of magic is in this drama, whether it’s time-travel, reverse-aging with a side of amnesia, or reincarnation—all perfectly plausible scenarios in dramaland. Just don’t kill Yeo Jin-gu too many times, okay? My poor heart can’t take it.
Reunited Worlds premieres next Wednesday, July 19 on SBS.

So in some picks shes got the bangs, in some she doesn't, here's hoping she changes hairstyles very very early on. Its just too distracting.

I'm usually a fan of the micro/baby bangs trend. They can be seriously adorable when done right. But however they cut hers, they look kind of awkward on her. I agree that in the poster it looks okay, but with her pony tail her and those longer face framing pieces. It looks off.

It's great to see Yeo Jingu again on the screen so soon but for me it's maybe too soon...
I'm still stuck deep in Circle so when I saw the trailer I was all like: How can you change girls so easily, Woojin-a? What about Jung Yeon, eh? Two fatal car accidents in a row?! Seriously! I know we can make a new clone but could we please set a limit? Beom Gyun was looking for you everywhere!
Sigh, I just hope this drama will heal my Circle sydrome...

"...will be about how 19-year-old Hae-sung heals everyone he reunites with...." Does that mean that he'll die once he's fulfilled that purpose? Why do I get that feeling? Let's hope that that's not the case. Let's keep our fingers crossed. :)

Call me shallow but I am having a hard time ignoring those awful bangs. I've not found anyone who looks good with super short bangs.
But besides that this looks really interesting and like it will be a sweet drama. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a romance or a healing drama.

I think maybe its not a ghost story & he just came back, having watched many anime & manga with similar story lines, I'm ready to accept any bad logic, because the leads just seem to be made for each other, time difference or not.

I'm actually really looking forward to this...I think I'm going to be crying buckets...and it'll be one of those feel good/bittersweet cry, which I like (instead of in your face oh so sad cry)...

As a person who has and loves bangs I just... don't get it. How could they have screwed it up that badly?
If you want short edgy bangs then the rest of the hairstyle, PLUS the outfits and makeup, have to match. Come on! Isn't this styling 101?

Oh... what should I do? I haven't got the time to watch Circle and this drama will air next week. Should I marathon Circle first then catch up with this, watch them simultaneously or save Circle for later and watch this live?

Mmm maybe Circle first since everyone is probably going to be comparing the two (like they're already doing) then catch up on Reunited Worlds?

The only thing I can see is her hair. WTF were they thinking. Those bangs are horrible to the point of being upsetting. They should've given her a more youthful look considering he's 19 and she's in her 30's. C'mon Kdrama's get it together
