I do not know which small island you are referring to. But I used to live in a small island in the Med and we foreigners first think the island is enchanted then slowly realize that the people are so small minded! and crazy. There is a saying good people in(this island, i do not name it) would burn alive on the cross.( no good people in the island). Powerful islanders are mafioso. In fact, a very rich man who own one of the best hotels used to be a pimp in SOHO. We could not wait to get out from the island! They were really wired.

It is an Island on our North Coast. Even if they were not gangsters, they were awfully rough, impolite, self-absorbed and demanding. Thinking just because they are islanders that we should have a free tour guide (and we should have predicted them coming "because waves are low today, didn't you notice?" duh!) and ordered us to reopen ice cream Cafe "cause it's not like we can get transport any time we want so we must get maximum!" um now I think they might be gangsters after all.

Damn Macroni and Merkel, sirens all day, all those leaders (assholes) here for some IT meet, cars pass the museum 40 times a day, police everywhere my ears are ringing I want to sue them for not letting people of old town work. Gaahhh. Them sirens made us reschedule 2 test groups because it was too loud.

Also I loved that they used amnesia as part of the plot rather than trying to extend the drama by a few episodes. They also showed that she suffered from brain damage though being a drama she is completely fine in the end. Furthermore it's also the girl that suffers amnesia as it's usually the guy.

If only Lee Kyung Hee could be able to wrote it more deep and complex, that drama would be one of my all time fav. My most fav lee kyung hee drama.. Tee hee how much I miss SOng Joong Ki

Yes I'm all for a season 3. This season felt so much shorter than the last one. But having said that, i nees to see our couple end up together in this season. Their relationship can't be the carrot they dangle in front of us for next season (if there is one). It will make the whole of season 2 seem very trite and I don't want that for any of our characters.

There were a ton of dramas this year that weren't available on either DF of Viki. Now that Viki got together with Kokoawa, they have some that neither had before. Licensing seems to be such a pain in the butt, even for giants like Netflix.

I remember that Pandora blew up because it kinda predicted what happens in 2016 SK like the whole presidential scandal even when the movie started production around 2013.

I think this movie is what allowed Kim Nam Gil to go back in the drama,

I think taxi driver will win a lot.

Song Kang-ho and Sol Kyung-gu could elevate whatever comes their way, maybe even a script written by a first grader.
They both won many awards and I think this year belongs to Song Kang-ho's "Taxi Driver."
I love Han Suk-kyu but I didn't care for "The Prison."

Oh gosh! It's been an insane week! How is everyone doing here?

I've been so MIA compared to a year ago when I wasn't working and wasn't studying Korean... I still remember the good old days when I used to rush to watch Moonlight drawn by clouds and then madly refresh DB till the recap was out! Then madly comment and re-refresh to comment on comments and simultaneously try to do my gifs in time. LOL. Good times.

Feeling a bit nostalgic for some reason, so I want to say a Big Thanks to everyone here I've gotten to know. Thanks to DB I have a place to meet like minded people, and I also managed to get introduced to KakaoTalk and my MDBC friends who have been invaluable, especially now when the Husband is away. (The Boy still isn't the best conversationalist. Ha!) not to mention all the revision I've done of my basic medicine doing Medicaps! 😆 And strangely enough I've gotten so much support and love for the Boy from here- really so unexpected since my mommy-angst isn't drama related at all.

So as I celebrate another Crack Drama in While You Were Sleeping- I want to thank everyone here for being my enablers and making my life just that bit brighter, even if my eyebags say otherwise. 😝

Much love to all Beanies this Friday! ❤️

Aloha, Michykdrama!

I haven't been around Open Thread on a regular basis for quite a spell myself, so it's lovely to run into you here at the watering hole. I miss seeing your BEAUTIFUL MIND and RDTK comments and medicaps. I jumped ship off the floating hospital early in the game. I got spoiled with the realism of medicine as depicted in those earlier shows.

Live-watched THE KING IN LOVE, and just marathoned to catch up with LINGERIE GIRLS' GENERATION to see what the show does with the music of my youth. Only two more installments left. It's good, and at 8 episodes, has zipped by rapidly.

Currently watching the RDTK alumnae in TEMPERATURE OF LOVE. It has been a blast to see Yang Se-jong busting out of Do In-bum mode, first in SAIMDANG, and then in DUEL. Our thoracic surgeon has morphed into a chef, so I guess it's no surprise that he's still working with knives. ;-) Seo Hyun-jin has been doing a fine job, as I expected.

I'm planning to live-watch 20TH CENTURY BOY AND GIRL to see what Kim Ji-suk has up his sleeve after his excellent walk on the wild side as Yeonsangun in REBEL.

Will sign off for now. I hope that your young fella continue to flourish, and that you are well and happy in your work. Aloha 'oe. ;-)

*waves hi!* long time no chat PakalanaPikake!

Our drama watching preferences don't cross this time sadly, since I'm only watching Live Up To Your Name and While You Were Sleeping.

But the former does have a fascinating amount of both Oriental medicine/Acupuncture and modern medicine (the female lead is a cardiothoracic surgeon- aren't they all? LOL) and I am actually doing Medicaps for that, though I'm shamefully behind schedule this week. *cough-gotdistractedbyleejongsuk- cough*

I'm considering checking out Temperature of Love but I'm still rather sore that Kim Jae Wook isn't the lead since I could imagine the fireworks he and Seo Hyun Jin could ignite. Also, time isn't my friend and I'm very very short on this commodity these weeks.

Thanks for the well wishes- the boy is battling a flu and protracted cough but is his usual crazy self- today we had a pretty good speech therapy session so it's baby steps in the right direction. 😊

Hope you have a good weekend! ❤️

*waves back*

I watched the first week or two of LIVE UP TO YOUR NAME, but THE KING IN LOVE took up so much of my attention that I set it aside. Hmmm. But you're doing medicaps for it. That makes it much more tempting. I'll have to reconsider. Kim Nam-gil is one of my faves, but I just couldn't get into it at the time. SEVEN DAY QUEEN put me through the wringer, so I may not have had sufficient recovery time. I ended up medicating with a couple of low-key family dramas that I'd had on my list for a while: LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL and OJAKGYO BROTHERS, which I finished last week or so.

Re: TEMPERATURE OF LOVE, methinks the really interesting fireworks are between Kim Jae-wook and Yang Se-jong. The bromance train has already left the station, but I can't see where it's headed. Hopefully not to a siding -- or a derailment. There may yet be fireworks between KJW and Seo Hyun-jin.

Glad to hear that The Boy's speech therapy went well. Keeping my fingers crossed that he kicks the flu pronto.

Take care, and have a good weekend. I may see you in acupunctureland before long. ;-)

Finally 2 week break from my practicum (due to school holidays here). I have nothing better to do than plan my lessons here and there..so been poking my head here in DB.

Watching While You Were Sleeping which I wasn't planning to (at least not yet, but I gave in because I was bored not watching a drama at all).

Waiting eagerly for Si Won and Kang Sora's Revolutionary Love. I've got my fingers and toes crossed that it doesn't disappoint...

Due to missing Park Seo Joon after Fight My Way ended, and in anticipation of Si Won's new drama, I finally picked up She Was Pretty. Omgggg it was soooo good!!! I finished it in 4 days! Lol. I didn't think I could like Hwang Jung-eum in anything (she's too dramatic and over-the-top for my liking) but she was ok in this. Although some scenes did irritate me now and then. But overall just a laugh-out-loud comedy thanks to uri goofy reporter!!

I run out drama to watch and still didn't feel to start watching anything, then I stumble upon Kahogo no Kahoko /Overprotected Kahoko and watched it for 4 days straight.

I love it.
It's a drama that isn't so grand like life and death but so relatable because it gives a perspective and hope.
Kahoko is a delightful sunshine. Every development she shows makes us see that sometimes, it better not to realise how complicated everything that happened or fix it as best as we can.

I think we all grow up closer to Hajime on this worldview but we never really ask ourselves like Kahoko. Whenever she tries to find the answer she couldn't find, she gets frustrated because it's the 1st time for her but she didn't give up and convey what she feels.

You can say that the struggle kahoko has is kinda sugarcoated because it isn't as dramatic like KDrama usually has, but I find the message they show to us is really amazing. They are true to themselves and not try to be this awesome drama that tackles everything in humanity but a small story about realising how this world worked and overcome it with sincerity.
It's like a small bubble of hope and it's touching to see how kahoko grows up and see the world in her new view.
Hajime also voiced a lot of opinions that need to be addressed, he is honest and he means well. I hope to get more story of him but I think we can't really have that but he is fun and his chemistry with kahoko is endearing. They communicate well, they give each other time, they voiced their opinion and they made up. I really like the drama definition about significant other is someone that you can share your secret when you can't-do that to your family. Someone you are comfortable and trust to face the world together.

It gives me a lot of satisfaction and enjoyment. Sometimes our life is simple and doesn't have a bad guy like kahoko, but it doesn't always mean it's easy and I just really like how the drama portrayed their messages. Kahoko isn't perfect but she wants to learn and she learnt, she is stronger and most of all, she is sincere.

I watched that too recently. It's my first Japanese drama in a long time! The actress really reminds me of IU she's so adorable. Even when she's not being the brightest bulb in the house, her earnestness really goes a long way to endear her to me. Also loved Hajime's character which I thought was done very well. And papa! Papa as the narrator was so funny. I really loved his little insights that he could never really voice out loud. His commentary really made all the moments extra funny.

I actually enjoyed the drama as well. Her extended family members are quite real. They hate each other sometimes, there is some accumulated resentments against each other. Everyone has flaws. The drama presents their dysfunction with more subtle way unlike Korean drama where there were tons of yells and cries. I kind of think that many families are quite dysfunctional but it is quite rare to have someone like Kahoko who is so pure and willing to do anything to keep her family together. I wish there is a Kahoko in each family.

Hi Beanies !

3rd week in Germany. Finally met @swunnie ! I had a great time with you and thanks for the tips 😊

German people are helpful. The entrance door of my building is old and you have to find "the thing" to open it in one try. I thought I found it when one day I couldn't open it. A neighbor opened it for me. Thanks lady !

I went to a laundromat to have informations about the prices and the process. An old man offered to help and I said no thanks since I didn't need help. He then grumpily said "Like you want". He seemed disappointed so I said it was still nice of him. He said nothing after so... Yeah. He was so disappointed.

I'm finally going to GD's concert tomorrow. I'm so excited :D

This week I read 13 reasons why by Jay Asher. I didn't watch the Netflix series because dramas took all of my free time. It was great to have the author's and the cast's interview at the end of the book. It made me think of people in high school and wondered if some of them went through the same thing as Hannah. Nothing as big as in the book happened but what if ? It made me look back on who I was and what I did (not) in highschool.

Happy Friday :D

Hi Everyone! ....... As always, I hope you are all doing well.

Once again, I have to run off because other things just need to get done. It's certainly been a busy couple of weeks for me!

This week, managed to fit some drama episodes into the busy schedule:

Falsify - I have like 4 episodes or so left. ..... Will anything go our team's way? They're always a step behind or 10 minutes too late.

Live Up to Your Name - I've watched up to episode 11, so I'm behind. I totally have to catch up! I want to know what happens next!

That's all for now. I'll certainly check in later and read everyone's great posts! Everyone take care and have a great Friday!

I was quite sure I would not be watching While You Were Sleeping but I decided to give it a try after seeing so many beanies talking about it. I've just finished ep1-2. It's quite good, I like the pacing, the cinematography and the acting isn't bad. Suzy is actually doing much better than I had expected. Lee Sang Yeob is great as the villain, this is the type who gives me the creep, not the psychopathic crazies.

I am less enamored with Temperature of Love. I've watched up to ep 7, maybe ep 8 will be the turning point for me? I really want to love this show. This is one I was sure I will watch. My baby Yang Se Jong and I like Seo Hyun Jin. While I have always enjoyed her acting, this is the first time I feel that she's been acting the same character. I really hate to say this because previously when I read such comments, I was the one who's rolling my eyes. But now I just can't shake off the feeling.

I come to the conclusion that some actors have such strong traits in their acting style that it becomes distinctive and easily recognizable whichever character they play. I love her in OHY, I think she really brought the character to life and owned it but now, it's like I am seeing OHY in another setting. Not sure if I am making sense.

There are few actors who have very neutral facial expressions for the lack of a better word. They can slip into any character and make it different each time.

Seo Hyun Jin can do so much more. I was kind of disappointed that she chose another rom.com.

Choosing a different genre or same genre but a character who's the opposite of the previous would have helped.

I like her better here. She’s much more subtle than her Oh Hae Young character. And not as brash or mentally unstable as her doctor counterpart. I guess I see the differences. She’s much more introspective, more clever with her words (better banter between the OTPs in my opinion) and she’s just quieter.

Maybe she wants to enjoy some romcom for the time being. I don't know. But hopefully her next role will be thriller drama. She is the only reason I'm watching Temperature of Love despite of being wary about this writer. I loved what I have seen so far, but I can't be convinced yet, because it has still long way to go.

But Oh Hae Young is not a fluffy character like in alot of rom com where there is nothing she can do. And Hyun Soo is not Oh Hae Young. She is potraying bit differently. And definitely she has something to work with. But I agree the couple is lackluster. I hate it they choose someone who can't afford act.

My thinking is that she shot to fame pretty late, so I can't blame her for taking all the scripts she's getting. Sometimes I think as fans we get a little too critical about actors picking the same roles, but not everyone is Gong Yoo who's got the financial flexibility to do whatever role he chooses.

It's also possible that Hyun-soo's character arc will give Seo Hyun-jin the opportunity to stretch in a way we cannot yet foresee. It's still early in the show.

That said, I'm hoping that Jo Bo-ah's character evolves into something beyond a rehash of fiance-filching flight attendant Do Yeo-Joo in SWEET STRANGER AND ME. Her aegyo is giving me flashbacks to that character. Have mercy! I confess! Please don't make me listen to her for 32 more episodes!

She should do an introvert role like Yeon Woo-jin in Introvert Boss which is clearly opposite on Oh Hae-young or do other genre. I'm also dying to see her in historical costume again. If this drama is her only other work I have seen aside OHY, I would have the same thought like you too.

The Duo, Goddess of Fire have lesser epi but I think the former is better drama. She also did The Peak (2 epi drama special) another period drama but I only managed to find one epi with eng sub. There was another period drama she did (Kang Ha-neul was the main role) in the series of MBC Drama Festival but I couldn't find it with/without subs. Sadly, MBC Drama Festival/Special are hardly to find with eng sub, unlike KBS Drama Special which has their own YT channel. I think she did quite a number of roles in sageuk that after Let's Eat 2, she is staying in romcom for a while.

@Sera The Ms Temper,

There was another period drama she did (Kang Ha-neul was the main role) in the series of MBC Drama Festival but I couldn't find it with/without subs.

It's confusing and difficult to find because the drama appears under various titles.

Your description rang a bell with me, so I looked in my kdrama log. Lo and behold! A couple of days after REBEL ended, I searched for Seo Hyun-jin's 2013 single-episode sageuk with Kang Ha-neul, and found clips on YouTube.

This clip gives a very helpful synopsis:

Joon Kyung(Kang Ha Neul, 강하늘) - 불온
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Amyvn6JQCXM

Another clip, posted under the heading “[HOT] MBC” -- with the rest in Korean -- on 20131003 on YouTube's MBCdrama channel, has a comment by a viewer stating its availability on DramaFire with subtitles under the heading DRAMA FESTIVAL: REBELLION. It is episode 2 in the series. Paydirt!

AsianWiki listing: Drama Festival: Rebellious [TV Movie: Rebellious (literal title), Revised romanization: Boolon]

DramaWiki lists it under the main title for the series but without a year, DRAMA FESTIVAL. Episode 2. [Title: Boolon (Unrest). Also known as: Rebellious]
Note: There is also a series in 2014 which includes OLD GOODBYE with Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara.

MY TAKE:

Dang! Teacher & rebel leader Yoo Gwang-Hun bears some similarities to Song Sabu in REBEL, but
isn't downright evil, thank goodness.

The twist at the end is great. Pay close attention. I would not have understood it if I had not just watched REBEL: THIEF WHO STOLE THE PEOPLE. The governor's son who comes to Lee Joon-Kyung's school is there because it is the only school that teaches Mencius' writings correctly.

Prince Changwon, the king's uncle, surely sounds like Choongwongoon of REBEL. His posthumous
name means "Avarice and Sorrow" because he was an unrepentant bastard.

The subtitles were good, as far as I can tell.

Now I'll have to go back and rewatch. Thanks for reminding me of this little gem. ;-)

I like her character, but I agree that she is basically a calmer version of Oh Hae Young (a show I loved). I think because of the similarities in her character and the character's life situation (trying to prove herself in her career, loving parents), I'm finding the main couple a bit mismatched. I love both actors and characters of the leads, but am not always feeling that they should end up together.

I do agree with you. Seo Hyun-jin is the only reason I decided to watch this show. Now I've finished up to episode 6 and all I can say is that I'm not enjoying it as much as I expected.

The cinematography is nice, the pictures and colors, but it's like having a soup which has a lot of great ingredients in it but they all didn't really come together.. together it's a bit strange, it's bland and not memorable.

I think this might be because of my bias for SHJ but I found she is trying the best she can to be Hyun Soo and not Oh Hae-young. I think the script is weak, I don't know what everyone else is thinking but almost everything just doesn't make sense. It's too cliche. To me, I do also think that the OTP is mismatched. They look cute together, but I just don't really think they should end up together, this is not because of their roles in this show, I just don't think enough chemistry is there (though I do really think that both of them do really well on their part).

Is it funny that I think the chemistry between the second female lead and her close male friend and between the male lead and the second male lead more than the OTP's? I am not into any male-male romantic relationship but I think I'm feeling something from watching the main male lead and the second male lead being together.. sigh.. how can I end up having such thought while watching this show.. (facepalms+screaming face)

The chemistry between the leads has been a very slow burn on the part of Hyun-soo, whose attention has been off in the Delta Quadrant as far as romance is concerned.

As I see it, the drama will hinge on how this unlikely pairing that Hyun-soo torpedoed without a second thought will take advantage of another chance to play out after both parties do some growing up.

To use your metaphor of disappointing soup that is less than the sum of its excellent ingredients, I'd like to suggest that the drama is going to use the sous vide method to slowly simmer the plot and the characters to juicy perfection. I'm hoping that each character is transformed, not just the leads. Someone please toss Hong-ah into the Cauldron of Redemption and put a lid on her aegyo. ;-)

Instead of a slow burn (because fire consumes its fuel), I like the idea of long, slow cooking in a hot water bath, an apt analogy for the emotional process of stewing in one's juices. Even the toughest cuts of meat are reduced to tender morsels in this manner -- if one is patient enough. I like to think of this approach as "slow drama" -- the theatrical equivalent of the "slow food" movement.

A different analogy also comes to mind, and also involves water, heat, and pressure. Dead vegetation in a swamp is compressed and converted into coal over long eons. With the passage of even more time, and under tremendous temperature and pressure, a lump of coal becomes a diamond.

I'm willing to stick around to see how this process unfolds. I just hope that we won't have to endure a Mount St. Helens eruption that destroys everything in its path for miles around. ;-)

I agree on that some actors have a really consistent style of acting. It's likely that they bring their own personality into their characters. So when she's supposed to act out anger, she's Seo Hyun-jin angry but not Lee Hyun-soo angry. Not sure if I'm making sense but that's how I feel.

That's why giving yourself a break from your favourite actor helps. It's not solving the root problem, but oh wells.

New MyDramaList - having more SNS vibes

P to Jk, HaruChika , Re-Life subs are up. Today's Kira Kun has pretty bad subs. waiting for newer version.

Someone earlier talked about 18+, mature Korean movies and around 3 weeks ago someone updated subs of few korean movies: pay attention on titles :
Young Sister-in-Law,Erotic Sister, Erotic Tutoring
(Tested 4 movies, wasted total of 35 minutes, They are literally Porn. Its just that thankfully they don't show private parts of actors.)

Then i searched Mydramalist - look at some other titles

Two Mothers,My Friends Nice Mother,Mother's Job,My Girlfriend's Mother and many more.
INCEST GALORE. I won't even call them movies. This c grade cinema. The mainstream cinema does have 18+/some nudity/ some physical intimacy/some sexual scenes but they do always have a story and a plot. This C grade cinema usually have no name actors and literally are Softcore Porn. I'm surprised they are even listed at MyDramaList

I can't comment in recent recap threads of Rescue Me as i haven't watched the episodes. Forced myself to complete few episodes of Rescue Me.
From 8 to 12 - rating 6.5/10. pretty average and predictable writing. Even direction and music can't save the show.
From the 1st week i said - it isn't about Lust at all and Baek+That woman believed in this almighty crap to some extent.
Idiot main characters from sang mi to sang hwan to dong Chul.
Episode 09 to 10 were too boring. 11-12 as usually dragging.

Infiltrate+ undercover to take down an organisation - wow what a writing. Inconsistent sang mi.
Virtual Identities were overrted Dong Chul as Sang Hwan hasn't performed badly at all.

I think even Baek performed better than most ASIAN MAIN MAle Characters Seriously, male leads abuse the female lead more than Baek ever did. And funny enough he is the disgusting guy here and Male Heros are termed as handsome oppas.

I thought that relife would work better as drama.

I actually dislike Re-Life. Initially it was interesting but later on it started to follow the same routine other popular mangas follow, to drag things.

As for subs - Some official company should pick them. Crunchyroll do have license of a few asian dramas but that's just it.

As i wrote above that literally is porn. MDL list surprised me as half of the movies listed were c grade porn content.

I understand why you don't like RE-Life, I find it so-so, like literally just 25% of the hype but I think it can work differently in a drama because they can tweak a little bit and I just feel like the drama is a perfect fit for the story.

hahaha, indeed, it's porn,

Relife certainly has lost its initial quality but I still enjoy it for the main couple romance.
Draggy manga never frustrates me as much as draggy dramas because they aren't time consuming and can be skimmed easily. Dropped Save Me after ep 10 because it was draggy (actually cant recall any notable plot/character development in the last 7 eps) and don't really go anywhere interesting. Still left a bitter taste in my mouth. Why did I give that show more chances than it deserved.

Usually, if the title is like that, it's bad. Lol. I've started watching 18+ korean movies in hopes of polishing my smut writing skills (still never finished my smut fanfic ㅠㅠ). Most of them are just porn and no content but I've seen quite a few ones that actually made me cry because it was so beautiful. I should have kept track of the titles. Darn it. Coz now I can't remember.

I have differentiated them - C grade - are literal porn
Mainstream movies have story+plot with spices of some mature scenes.
Adult movies aren't porn. There are many good 18+ HollyWood and french movies which by means be put into porn category. But those koreran C grade movies certainly are porn.

There are numerous smut mangas out there and most of them portray style of "women love" + have aggressive asian males(submissive females)

In Canada, the show is on CTV every Monday. I actually watched the first episode and I thought it was promising for an adaptation. Of course some of the scenes were really déjà vu but they also added their own touch to the story. Of course, Freddie Highmore is wonderful.

It's difficult to form an opinion on one episode alone but I am going to keep watching to see how they plan to adapt the full storyline.

Freddie Highmore is the front, centre and back of Good Doctor. He is also one of the producers of the show of all 6 eps that has been filmed.
I won't be surprised he would end up co-writing an episode or two with David Shore.

He got the script for "Good Doctor" 3 days after "Bates Motel" ended.
They started filming the pilot episode around March-April which doesn't give him much time to take a break.
I think it's good if he didn't. I'd prefer to see his own version without any influence from the original.
"Bates Motel" was loved by the critics and viewers. "Good Doctor" is well received by the viewers but the critics are mostly harsh on their reviews especially on RT.
I think it's going to do well since the viewers like it as indicated by the high ratings.

Freddie Highmore is so convincing in this role—as a doctor who knows other docs with high functioning autism, he’s nailing this. His acting reminds me of Korean actors with his subtle tears. I was so affected by his monologue about his brother and bunny.

Recently I found out that Kyuhyun sang one of The Best Hit OST.
My reaction:
Wait! What? Which song? He is my FAVORITE SINGER, how could I not notice his voice when I was watching that drama? I'm dumbfounded.
Though, after listening to the song I knew the reason. It's the song that was played every time hyunjae and wooseung have romantic scene which i tend to not pay attention to, fast-forward or skip. Ha, I guess my dislike towards that couple was a bit too much.
It's actually a good song and I like it.

Speaking of Kyuhyun, when I heard news that Super Junior will be come back in November I didn't feel exited at all. I don't care about them.
Is it normal that I like the group only when they with Kyuhyun and don't care when they without him? Had anyone experience this?

I love this duet by Kyuhyun and Lee Sun-hee, but did not know the name of the song. It is as much a delight to watch them singing as it is to listen to their harmonizing. They look like they're having the time of their lives. If ever there were a mutual admiration society, this is it.

I just found a translation of the lyrics. Although the subject matter is sad, I find the music very uplifting.

The lyrics remind me of Hyun-soo's realization that she had been oblivious to being in love with Jung-sun in TEMPERATURE OF LOVE.

Thanks again for sharing your knowledge of Korean music. ;-)
