Team Dramabeans: What we’re watching

So, what are we all watching this week?

What kept you reaching for more (or agonizing when there was no more), and what made you want to throw your remote through the screen? Time to weigh in…

Currently recapping: Revolutionary Love

Because This Life Is Our First: I’m liking this more and more—the characters are so endearingly awkward, but in a way that makes sense and works together. Right now I don’t feel romance between the leads—they’re like an odd couple of kindred spirits—but rather than finding that disappointing, it makes me excited to watch this process; I’m intrigued me to see where the tipping point will be for these two.

20th Century Boy and Girl: I find this show mostly delightful, and the girlfriends’ friendship feels a little unrealistically sweet but heartwarming all the same. (They’re just so good! The small moments of irritation between the First Life ladies feels more true to life, although that doesn’t make me like these women less. It’s maybe more aspirational than relatable, though.) I’m conflicted about the extended flashbacks to childhood, because I like the parallels between then and now, and not seeing the full picture up front piques the curiosity about what happened in all that in-between time. But it also makes me impatient for the present-day story to take over—although with the We Got Married storyline about to take off, I think I’ll be gratified soon enough.

Witch’s Court: I really enjoy the characters and their personalities, and like that Jung Ryeo-won is super-competent and saucy but feels like she has some growing up still to do. But once again I’m reminded of why I don’t love heavily procedural shows, because in order to be effective, our good guys have to regularly face strong opposition and be put at the disadvantage by the conniving opposition, and I just don’t love having my blood made to boil every hour. But for a legal procedural, it’s one of the more compelling ones, I think.

Currently recapping: While You Were Sleeping

Because This Life Is Our First: I really like the overall vibe of this show and the portrayal of how youthful dreams collide with reality. I’m not sure that I buy Lee Min-ki’s character caving to his parents’ expectations for marriage though, seeing as how he’s really very set in his beliefs and opposed to conforming to the so-called norm, but of course I love what the conceit gives us—a contract marriage between two wonderfully odd ducks. The family dinner was awesome, and I can’t wait until they meet the friends.

Witch’s Court: There’s a very strong procedural bent to this show, but the leads pop and I enjoy their interactions, so the cases of the week go by pretty quickly for me. I actually thought they were going to hate each other for longer, but I wonder if we’re already starting to see the signs of attraction?

Temperature of Love: I’m confused as what Kim Jae-wook is planning to do as a romantic rival, but maybe I’ve never understood second leads of this type. I’ve been enjoying Temperature of Love for its lack of drama up till now, so I’m a little wary of what’s around the bend, but let’s cross our fingers and hope for reason to prevail.

Mad Dog: Woo Do-hwan is stealing the show for me, but that was expected. Once he joined the squad, nefarious intentions and all, the focus has really become the mystery surrounding his character and what he could possibly be after. But I just enjoy his caustic interactions with the rest of the crew, and those tiny moments of vulnerability under the surface do me in.

Revolutionary Love: At first, Siwon seemed too bratty, but then the second he fell for Kang So-ra’s character halfway through the first episode, I began to love him. It’s hilarious how he falls in love at the drop of a hat, and I really enjoy the fish-out-of-water hijinks as he struggles with foreign concepts like minimum wage and rent. It’s not a deep show, but it’s super cute.

Currently recapping: Black

The Package: I’m such a sucker for random people being forced together and learning more about themselves as they realize that everyone has their own stories and struggles that make them who they are. The balance of humor and painful reality is perfect and I love the way we get glimpses into everyone’s lives, drip by drip, just like we’re strangers on this trip along with the characters. Also my inner Francophile is easily delighted by the utter gorgeousness of the scenery, some of which is very near and dear to me (well, except Charles de Gaulle airport, ugh, I’ve never had a good experience there—nowhere near as terrible as someone mistaking me for a wanted sex offender, though). Fun fact: one of my abandoned career paths was a tour director, so hoo boy do I understand the headaches of trying to herd cats, uh, I mean, tourists. Basically this show is tailor-made to my exact tastes and I love it.

tineybeanie

20th Century Boy and Girl: Hmmm, I like the characters so far, but I don’t understand what the plot is. Is there a plot? *scratches head*

Witch’s Court: Nuuu c’mon Yoon Hyun-min. I want you to be more than a self-righteous do-gooder.

Revolutionary Love: It has all the elements of a good drama, but somehow I’m still not super-attracted. Maybe it’s because all of it has been done before? I think the only element that tugged my heart was when Siwon smiled after being kicked and physically abused by his father during the company board meeting, saying that his father must have weakened a lot over the years to resort to using his feet instead of his fists.

Currently recapping: Because This Life Is Our First

Black: I wasn’t sure which direction I should go in terms of drama watching for this fall cycle, so I decided to sample practically everything. What I chose to pick up and leave behind in the end really surprised me, so I’d say the experiment paid off. On to Black, I feel like Song Seung-heon and Go Ara’s acting flaws would feel less visible in this show if they didn’t have so much career baggage. That aside, I’d say they are pulling it off, and I find the character Black to be so fabulously weird that I think I have to stick around to see where this is going.

Revolutionary Love: I’m passing on this one. Watching Hyuk’s father hit Je-hoon as a proxy punishment for Hyuk (something that has clearly happened over and over) was where I tapped out, because it left such a bad taste in my mouth.

Buam-dong Revenge Club: So far I’m undecided on this one. I might watch a couple more episodes at some point to give it another chance, but I’ll do without it for now because it didn’t really make an impression on me.

Go Back Spouses: I wasn’t going to check this one out, but this show really surprised me, and after two episodes, I’m definitely keeping this one! The first episode is kind of intense, but then the leads go back in time and all their old-timey internal monologues are gold. I’m pleased with how quickly things moved because it’s a familiar concept, but on the other hand, I’m nervous that they’re already onto each other (well, at least Jin-joo is). I want more giggles before things get real again, since some of those scenes were (though rightfully) hard to bear. The scenes with Mom were my favorite though, and left me feeling warm, but also devastated, inside.

Witch’s Court: I’ve only seen the first two episodes, and while I don’t feel super invested right now, I like it enough to keep going. The characters are smart, and seem like full people, which is always a plus, and based on this first case, the cases of the week seem like they’ll be very topical but executed with some good twists that offer an interesting point-of-view.

The Package: Okay, it says a lot about how little I knew about this drama before watching, since I assumed “The Package” was a literal parcel and not a vacation package. This show has very pensive tendencies that are a little more self-indulgent than I normally like, but beyond that it’s nice. I don’t really have strong feelings about it, but I find it easy to watch.

Because This Life Is Our First takes the top spot for me - the leads are quirky but oh so real. I can't wait for them to start being attracted to each other and be freaked out by it, haha!

WYWS - Woo-tak without a shirt, Woo-tak in a uniform... I mean, is there anything else important that happened this week?Oppa is alive and oh so fine.

20th Century Boy and Girl - I'm rooting for Ji-won but one can't help and root for Anthony as well. Guy needs like he could use some perking up and I'm sure Jin-jin is more than willing to do it both in and out the reality show. I hope it won't strain the warm brotherhood between Ji-won and Anthony though, I wanna see more bromance!

Temperature of Love felt a little lacking for me this week but I felt rewarded by that makeout session in the end, heh. Still don't get the second leads and why they're written that way, when the first leads seem to be written pretty well. Sigh.

Witch's Court was a pleasant surprise! I don't really like prosecution dramas (Suspicious Partner being an exception, but that was more romcom for me) and this is slowly becoming a treat for me. It helps too that the lead actors are doing so well with their characters.

I've reached the last straw with Hospital Ship. That last episode with the mafia hijacking the ship is just one big wtf to me hahaha. It wasn't supposed to be funny but man, this show. I'll see you another time, Kang Min-hyuk. You've been a treat but the rest of it is just meh.

As for Revolutionary Love and The Package... idk how else I will include them in my schedule but I suppose I could watch one on a weekend. So which one should I pick if ever? :)

"WYWS - Woo-tak without a shirt, Woo-tak in a uniform... I mean, is there anything else important that happened this week?Oppa is alive and oh so fine." Allow me to join you in appreciating the fine form of Han Woo Tak. ^^;

As for Hospital Ship, *sigh* what a waste of Ha Ji Won, and even Kang Min Hyuk. I'm not convinced of his acting chops, but he made for a convincing Oppa on the strange seas that Hospital Ship took us to.

I'm the same with Hospital Ship. Tried so hard with that drama because there was enough to like about it despite some really ott stupid moments but this hijacking is just... I cannot. what a waste of a decent cast, an excellent concept and clearly enough budget to do it justice - if only the writing would be better!

Because This Life is Our First: I still love it, but something about the marriage between Se-hee and Ji-ho makes me sad. The lack of love there, and their awkward relationship, makes me feel kind of awful for them. Strange, really, since I know they'll fall madly in love later.

20th Century Boy and Girl: What are the chances of Anthony being Ji-won's step-brother? Seriously? I find it seriously old school that they went for that twist.

Witch's Court: This week made me cringe, but there's so much in the story that's promising. I'll look past this incident, and look forward to next week's case.

Temperature of Love: Still hot. Nothing more to say, there.

While You Were Sleeping: I loved seeing how the 'murder' actually happened, and it's a shame no-one will ever find out.

The Package: The set-up, where the characters have flashbacks to the time before they all met, I find very interesting. We're discovering sides to all of them that we didn't originally know were there, and it's fun getting to know everyone slowly.

Midnight Runners: Hilarious. Fun. Cheeky. Heart-pounding. Rewarding. This was such a great film.

Because This is Our First Life - my favourite show at the moment. It reminds me a bit of Bubblegum in the quality of the dialogue, although I like the characters more here.

I'm not sure he caved to the demands though - didn't his friend make a throwaway comment about his dad covering his loans if he got married. In which case it's another rational financial decision - even if it doesn't last long the financial benefit will.

While I like a number of the new shows, I'm carrying forward only three or four:
1. Because this life is our first
2. Buam-dong Revenge Club
3. While you were sleeping
and maybe,
4. Witch's Court.

I'm in the mood for some forbidden love, and the news update on 'Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food' has reminded me of 'Secret Love Affair'. Re-watch time!

I'm pretty surprised that only one person on the team is watching Go Back Spouses. I mean, objectively speaking, it's a really good show.

I tried Buamdong Revenge Social Club as well but right now I'm finding the plot a little thin. The humour is alright but not that great. I'll probably continue after I'm done with Go Back to stick to my two dramas at a time schedule.

There are only 2 dramas and 1 variety right now.
1. Because This Life Is Our First.
I am so in love woth this one, I safely said that this drama pulls me out from my long slump. That contemplative vibes, the usually romantic lines said with straight face and our postives OTP, just love love love.
2. While You Were Sleeping
Liking it so far although I kinda nervous the pacing and plot start to slow down a bit. Still engaging but I hope the plot pick up next episodes.
3. 3 Meals A Day
I'm glad Andy and Minwoo come or else our trio wont be able to eat any fishes this season. Man, they are not cut to be a fishermen 😂😂😂

I watch 2 episodes of Nigeru wa haji.... (title too long...😥😥), liking it a lot but I try my hardest right now not to binge watching.

I have to disagree that Se-hee caving into his parents demands is inconsistent with his personality. Se-hee is extremely logical in the pursuit of his goals but his priorities themselves are not all free from emotional attachment. Obvious examples of this include sacrificing for his cat (or even having a cat) when his finances are so tight and his friendship with Sang-gu. He clearly gets something out of those relationships so it doesn't seem like much of a stretch that he would prioritize his relationship with his parents as well. It then follows that, if getting married is what's required for them to be happy, it's only logical what he'd have to do.

I just finished binge-watching Tunnel. I might start Circle so that my kdrama watching experience will have some variety since I am currently into three romance-themed dramas.

1. Because This is My First Life
I decided to watch this for Lee Min Ki and had low expectations but this drama is a pleasant surprise. The issues are relatable and the characters are charming. I like that it has a slice-of-life feel and the funny moments are low-key and blends well with the overall tone. I haven't watched a drama since Best Love that made me watch the released episodes more than twice while waiting for the next episodes and that made me camp at the comment section of the recaps to read what other beanies think of it. And I love that we're sharing the same sentiments about this drama. The insights of the beanies also help me appreciate BTISMFL more.

2. Temperature of Love
I don't care much about the side characters and I'm only watching this for the main couple because their love story is so sweet. And now that they are finally together, I'm interested on Jung Woo's next move. Although I'm concerned about how the writer will fill up the next 22 episodes.

3. My Golden Life
I've been asking myself why I'm still watching this unbelievable makjang fest but like the 32% Korean viewers, this show makes me come back week after week.

Because This Life is Our First: because it's the first time in a long time that I've been so excited about a rom-com (must be the slice of life feel). It's already passed my 4-episode test.
Hospital Ship: wait, I have 8 more episodes to go? I thought we were done at 32. Oh well. Will finish if I'm bored while waiting for Mondays.
Chicago Typewriter: I have a long bus ride ahead of me, so I downloaded a few episodes. Episode 1 was interesting, so we'll see...

Chicago typewriter can feel slow at the beginning, but wait until you hit like episode 7 or 8... you will remember me: it will hit you dead, and take you on a roller coaster back to life, and if you make it to the end, you will cry like never. The music and cinematography is sooooo beautiful!!!! Maybe I will watch it again.

Yeah, it does feel slow at the beginning... and the hero is not really likeable. Hehe, I am also prickly when I'm writing but I don't necessarily want my kdrama heroes to be so crabby. I'll give it a try though since you promise a roller coaster through life and death.

In order of like:

1. Because this life is our first: I am absolutely LOVING this one. I'm not sure what exactly it is that's resonating so deep for me, but it's quickly rising up to being one of my favorite dramas in 15 year history of watching kdramas. I love how perfectly this odd couple fits one another and I can't wait to see them falling in love, especially SH. I'm usually not one to keep watching the same episodes or dramas again, but this one has me watching the raw, subs, reading recaps and all the comments and watching the episodes again as I wait for new episodes to come. Then I google both Jung so min and Lee min ki and read articles and watxh YouTube clips. Eep The wait feels unbearable and I try to pass the time with ones dramas. Did I mention how much I love this?
2. Go back spouses: this feels so true to life! Well aside from the divorce and time traveling. I relate so hard with Jang Naras character as a mother. I've got 3 little ones and I feel like my life revolves around them. It can be so draining and stressful and at times I wonder how I became the person I am today. I wonder where the old me went. But then aside from the hardship of parenting there is a lot of joy and the love she feels for her son and the pain she felt when she reAlized that he was no longer there made me cry. As much as I sometimes miss and long for the days of singleness, i do love my children fiercely and wouldnt change it for the world. I had to laugh at the speed of how she ate. It's so true!!!! I barely get to eat because they're always needing something, gotta scarf my food down when I have the minute to actually eat.
3. While you were sleeping: I enjoy watching this, but that's about it.
4. 20th century boy and girl: easy, fluff I can watch while I'm doing the house chores
5. Temperature of love: this is getting boring for me. I didn't even realize a episode was preempted cause I didn't get around to watching it. Now if btliof was preempted? I'd be dying?

I hit a serious drama slump after Fight My Way -- I honestly tried with School 2017 but nothing stirred my soul -- until all these new shows arrived (with WYWS at the forefront)! Now I'm watching While You Were Sleeping (ugh, I'm on pins and needles, I feel the story is unpredictable save maybe for the end game), 20th Century Boy and Girl (gives me all the warm fuzzies) and Witch's Court (I want to be as good as Prosecutor Ma in the future). I am also watching Revolutionary Love but not as avidly as the first 3. I want to try This Life is My First but I need sleep! Oh, I love this new season!

Also, in between, I just got started on c-dramas, I'm watching When A Snail Falls in Love and afterwards, Love Me if You Dare.

WYWS - I like the show and the character dynamics, but sometimes it feels a tad bit too confusing and gimmicky for my taste. A bit like W - great characters, good chemi, nice premise but a bit confusing plot-wise.

(cont) LJS, Suzy and Hae In (swoons) all doing a great job.

The Package - I'm enjoying it a lot, especially how slice-of-life it is and how it seems all characters have their individuality and backstories. Eps 1 and 2 were great on the comedy, but was not expecting to have the 3rd one make me cry, snif =(

Black - I like it but I feel they should be giving out a bit more context to the viewers. I realise it's on purpose to leave us guessing/on edge, but it's making it hard to engage.

Temperature of Love - I feel this show has stagnated somehow. I can't really tell what's the driving force of it. I guess it kind of fits a slice-of-life genre, but then again it's quite melo?

watching The first episode Witch court, Because This Is My First Life, The Package, Avengers Social Club and revolutionary love,

Both The package and Avengers Social Club are the only two show I will keep watching, because those 2 show kept me engaged to the whole story.

While I really love the way they potray the heroine in Witch court, the show has up and down. But I think I will binge watching when the drama reach halfway.

Avengers Social Club first episode is a really tearjerker I cried so much, though i really think the whole they create their revenge group is abit too fast for my liking. But The whole build up makes sense. THe acting from the the two ladies Ra Mi Ran and Myung Se Bin are just amazing I cried bucket because of them.

The package is just really good at unfold each character personality It makes the first two episode paid off in 3rd episode for the older couple . The older couple acting are just soooo good they make you cry bucket in 3rd episode.

TOL- might have to start skipping episodes if Kim Jae Wook becomes evil and teams up with Hong Ah. Though I am excited to see Park Shin Hye's cameo. Don't let it be like her cameo in entertainer though which was less than a minute -.-

Witch's court- Initially I hadn't planned on watching this show because I was tired of legal dramas but after I watched the first episode I was hooked. I think the main attraction for me is the female lead.

Because this is my first life- Love this show. I hate waiting for the next episode :( and Jung So Min is so pretty!

20th century boy and girl- episode 3 and 4 were much better than the first two. So excited about the We Got Married element in the show since I used to watch that variety show for Solim and Sungjoy couple.

Mad Dog- I love Woo Do Hwan's chemistry with Ryu Hwayoung. And oh god Woo Do Hwan's voice is just *.* Don't get me wrong I am enjoying the storyline too but sometimes I get distracted by Woo Do Hwan. URGH DON'T SMILE ajdsakfjhdkjgh

WYWS- This drama is still holding it's own among the flood of new dramas. Love the humour bits of the drama (the choir scene recently LOL) and the writing is very good! I am proud of Suzy!

Avenger's social club- This is one of my favorite dramas of the week! How I wish the subs would be faster but grateful at least we are getting them. Am I a pervert for thinking that the chaebol unni has great chemistry with her stepson?

Go back couple- Enjoying this (Seo Jin is sooo adorable. more screen time for him please) and suffering from SLS. the hug scene in the most recent episode *.*

The package- Trying to not get distracted by the eye candy. Yoon Park is making me curious. Interesting drama so far and better than I expected. Really want to know the relationship between the ahjussi and his girlfriend.I feel like there is a plot twist there.

Revolutionary Love- I know comparison creates discrimination but I liked Siwon more in She was pretty. The premise of the drama was nothing new but I had more expectations regarding its execution. The teasers especially looked really fun. But the humor seems forced and everything is too predictable. But I will still keep watching for now because I like the cast.

Apart from watching these dramas I am watching every available video of Ssongsungmin couple on the internet since I am still not over them yet. I am at the point where I am memorizing the lyrics of Zaza- in the bus since Song Ji Won sang that in the drama and then Song seungwon released an unaired clip of him singing that song too. They seem to be good friends IRL. The hug in the final party and also him liking her Instagram posts (yes I am stalking them both) makes me happy. I am also happy that Park Eun Bin has accepted the role and I will be seeing her soon.

20th Century Boy and Girls: Shocking! Anthony is Jin Won Brother. It's a twist. It becomes more interesting. Hopefully they will show the real conflict of this drama because I can't see any till the latest episode

Because This Life is Our First: Everything is okay with this drama. It's just Kim Min Suk and Kim Ga Eun couple story is the only thing that I don't like in this drama. It's just annoying me how she overreacts with everything.

Buamdong Revenge Club: It's good but I really hope that the sub will come out faster. I really can't wait to see what will happen next.

The Package: It's good. I can see beautiful scenery of France. There are many mysteries and hidden stories of the tourists. And there's also a mysterious love story that turns to be a hate between Yoon Park and Lee Yeon Hee. I want to know if Lee Yeon Hee really marry Yoon Park and if she really takes his money.

Black: It's a mystery. Go Ara and Song Seung Hoon surprisingly are good. I still can't judge if it's good or not. I need two more episodes to decide if I will continue to watch or not.

Revolutionary Love: It's funny. I feel pity to Gong Myung and the stewardess. They are just victims of rich people that have money and power. I don't know why I like Gong Myung in this drama than his previous two dramas. He is a scene stealer.

Knowing Brothers: I think Changmin is good. He's funny. and Knowing Brothers have good chemistry with DBSK.

Running Man: Another good episode after new members join the show. It's fun. It's good. It's a twist after another twist. The mystery and the name tag rip game is back. One of the memorable one beside the summer special episodes.

Master Key: It's fun but it needs to improve. No twist. It's too easy to guess the key owner. And it's too many guests. 6 permanent members are already many so it doesn't need many guests anymore.

Because This Life is Our First: Catnip, catnip, catnip. Interesting characters and thoughtful narration.

Revolutionary Love: Definitely not revolutionary. The physical abuse turned me off, and while he had quieter, more effective moments, I thought Siwon overacted in a way that was distracting rather than amusing.

Strong Woman Do Bong Soon: So freaking good!

I have started to doubt Revolutionary Love as well. Strong violence going unpunished when a lawyer is right there and Siwon just doesn´t look like some puppy a la Louie so he should not be that clueless. I see 20-year olds that are more responsible even if they lived a sheltered life till then. The reason why Shopping King Louie worked with a chaebol on a rooftop was because of the warmth between characters. but here, I feel cold all over.

I fall asleep on most dramas recently, even Mad Dog. Like, sometimes I want the whole episode be 45 minutes or even less. I don´t have the time. I started the package last night, but well, though it is relatable and funny, I still fell asleep.

since Code Blue 3 ended, somehow it kicked my old jdrama mojo (and oddly enough, yamapi mojo) back into gear, and i have been marathoning his new-ish dramas and revisited old faves (nobuta powah chuunyu!). kinda weird because i've never find yamapi to be that attractive while i was super into jdramas, but boy has grown up foooyne

kdramas are still mostly a miss for me this year, i'm currently only watching WYWS (oppa long legs!) and intrigued enough by This is our first life to keep on watching (the nigeru haji resemblance is undeniable). i like WYWS but somehow the writing feels rather flat, not as gripping as PHR's usual fare, which is disappointing yet a blessing in disguise. i'm not on tetherhooks all week like usual when it comes to LJS dramas lol.

I watched 2 episodes of Temperature of Love and I love the banter between the leads. But the guy's eyes started to bother me, giving me the creeps, and I felt like running away from the horrors of dead eyes. My body temperature was cold in a bad way and not warmed up with good feelings at all.

Me, watching first WYWS, BTLIOF and 20century boy and girl...
In second place and only if I have time: the retro couple, and what is left from hospital ship (sometimes fast forwarding many scenes, LOL)
Which one I like the best?
Well, a mixture of WYWS and BTLIOF...
That is all 😊

*** WARNING SPOILERS
I officially have no life :) Here are my reviews in order:

Because This Is My First Life: Took the no. 1 spot as soon as it aired. It's not like your typical contract marriage drama (that tend to irk me), instead it's so well done and relatable.

While You Were Sleeping - Hooked from day one. I'm emotionally invested in all of the characters and I'm a sucker for a little bit of supernatural and these kind of childhood-acquaintances-meet-as-adults-but-don't-recognize-each-other kind of stories. Also LJS and our three flying dragons. SO CUTE!

Go Back Couple - Second lead syndrome is strong with this one <3 But I'm also rooting for our leads. I can't help but feel a sad tug at my heart when they each pursue other relationships. There were so many things that were unfair or misunderstood in their breakup that it'd just be too sad to see it end. Also Seo Jun D':

Witch's Court - I love this show. I really like our main leads and the legal stuff is actually interesting. I mean, heartbreaking and infuriating cases, but good.

Temperature of Love - The first couple episodes were amazing but now I think I've lost interest in the plot. I'm really only watching it for our main leads. They're romance is beautiful. It's such a healthy, open and honest relationship. #goals. I also loved the bromance but now that's kind of gone to shit. I usually like a good love rivalry but this one doesn't hold much ground for me. Those cheek bones though <3

The Package - Comical and sweet. I love getting to know all of the characters.

Hospital Ship - There have been times where I wanted to give up on this show - just not enough going on to keep me. But I stuck it out for Ha Ji Won and I am really glad I did because the last few episodes and relationship development has been worth it for me.

Man Who Sets the Table - 50 episode dramas are usually too much for me but I started anyways. We'll see how long I last! So far, it's moving a lot quicker than most family dramas AND the melodramatics aren't overly excessive.

20th Century Boy and Girl - The friendships are REALLY sweet. Super endearing. But I'm already behind the last few episodes. It's kind of fallen on the back burner.

Revolutionary Love - If I keep up with this one it'll be because of Choi Si Won's adorableness.

Started watching BTLIOF after seeing it mentioned a couple of times. And man, am I glad I found it ! I fell in love with the show effortlessly, all at once. It has this simple beauty to every moment from the light-hearted to the emotionally charged ones. Sometimes it feels very nostalgic and give me Reply 1988 vibes ( which for me is high praise ). I like it so much I wish I hadn't started it so I don't have to wait till next week for the next episode.

Checked out the first 2 episodes of Go Back Couple and I like it enough. Anything with Jang Na RA, you know I will watch. Sadly/Thankfully, BTIOFL took over every corner of my drama-watching brain and there is just no room right now !
