HAS ANYONE SEEN THE GREAT SEDUCER / TEMPTED TEASER PHOTOS AND TRAILERS?
I am genuinely excited for the damn drama 😭

I was very excited when I heard it will be Woo Do Hwan the male lead. I wasn't anymore when I heard it will be Joy the female lead. And I watched the teaser and I couldn't bear her voice. It was like a cute teenager girl who was speaking. It's really boring for this kind of story.

Really, just two very short teasers and you were already able to discern her voice would be boring for the story? 😅

We already know the story (if they really follow it) and it's not a cute story, with a light love story. The voice of the teaser didn't fit the darkness I was expecting.

It was her voice? I didn't care all that much about Joy's casting but this voice was so....not suited for this type of trailer. At this point, I don't really have high expectations as it is hard to imagine Kim Min Jae as ruthless playboy (and I know he is good actor, but come on) and Joy will probably act like she is in high school rom-com.

I was getting excited when Kim Min-jae and Moon Ga-young joined the drama. The teasers are unexpectedly good. I guess this drama will be my guilty pleasure if I do end up watching it.

I want to watch it , I've wrote this reasoning before,
I just want the classic story of pursuing someone.
A boy like a girl , want to get her attention and her time so they can become a couple.
Yes it's a facade but so many Kdrama lately [as I know] doesn't have this specific pursuit session, they just happen to work together, spending time because of work and suddenly want each other.
Idk what to call this pet peeved, I want the teasing
"do you like what I do? cause I want to make you laugh"
"I am here because I want to see you"
"Here is a list of place I would like to go with you, wanna go together"
all this "seducing" usually happens unintentionally, I want it to be intentional and I want to see her reaction, badly.
Perhaps I am missing out recent drama but is there any drama when the male lead openly flirt with the female lead?
Like openly told her that he wants to have a relationship with her and ask for a time to pursue her?

It's usually the second lead who pursue the girl 😄

yeah but it's often also including the part when they become friend 1st,
they are a coworker,
the girl thinks he is joking,
he helps her behind the scene and never take credit in time for flirting,
he said he is joking,
he gives room to the 1st lead,
or the 2nd lead is her childhood friend or has been her friend before the male lead.
In second lead case, they usually try to be nice but not wanting or looking for her attention so they back down when she said she doesn't feel it as she misunderstood their real intention.
Also, there is the story when the girl likes the 2nd lead 1st and this is when the male lead usually tries to get her attention but they usually also falls to the category of praising myself nonchalantly and hope that she'll notice it in time.
I think it will be nice to see the main lead unashamedly flirt with a real flirty intention to have her attention and to have a relationship with her, besides, main lead have more screen time.

What about Descendant of the Sun?
Capt yoo did pursue Dr. Kang shamelessly.
Eh, all of sudden I have new appreciation for DoTS 😂

Love Rain might fit what you’re looking for. The boy likes the girl first, and after initially letting another boy date her, he eventually makes his intentions known and does all he can to spend time with her.
“Radio Romance” is also doing this now! The male lead definitely likes her first and after initially being annoyed with her because she doesn’t remember him, he is doing all he can to woo her now. He also told her he liked her earlier too. There is a second lead, but his intentions are still vague at this time. See you on the recap!

I thought like @manohira , in DOTS he's pretty clear about his intentions.
In Nice Guy (SJK again :p), he tried to seduce the rich girl for his revanche.
In Secret Garden, when they don't have their body that switched, he tries to seduce her.
In the second part of Suspicious Partner, the male lead is flirting with the girl.

Sassy Go Go, they're only in high school but the guy totally flirts with the girl he likes, it's really charming and they have great chemistry.
I was excited for Woo Do Hwan in TGS but Joy..... I hope her acting is worthy of lead roles by now.

Hi! I totally understand what you want, as that is also what I am constantly searching for as well!
I second Radio Romance, as the lead, Su Ho, is hopelessly in love with the heroine and is making his romantic pursuit very clear. I kind of liked how in last week's episodes, he kept begging her for a "date" -- it's all so formal, but it's sweet that he wants to give his romance the proper form, and not just have it happen uneventfully.
In Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, Park Bo Gum's character is very very flirty once he is in love. The beginning of the romance is indeed circumstantial, but once he actually falls in love he is very open about his feelings and trying to woo her.
It's a C-drama and it's ultra fluffy (and may not suit your tastes, because it's very stereotypical), but in Boss & Me the male lead falls first and makes all these ground-breaking romantic gestures before the heroine is even on the same page.
That's all I can think of :^/

Omgsh yes!!! I'm loving the vibes of this show. It's comedic but not crazy over the top, and melo at times, but never manipulative of your emotions. I love the candid and matter-of-fact approach to sex talks, which is refreshing, but it hits the right spot because it's considered a "mature" love story.
Also, I find the parallels between the two leads fascinating. The female lead lost her child, while the male lead lost custody of his kid. She yearns to be a parent and still feels that loss, while he outwardly deters from parental responsibilities, but also internally yearns for his child as well. I wonder if she will be the one to help him come to term with his relationship with his daughter, but funnily enough, she had a ROUGH initial interaction with his kid!
I'm very curious about the flashback and their interactions 4 years ago, and how that has shaped their lives up until this point.
I LOOOOOVE Kam Woo Sung, and Alone in Love has always been one of my all time favorite show, and Should We Kiss First has a similar vibe to it, which is wonderful! And I'm sure we all love Kim Sun Ah as well, so I was very excited to watch the show, and it's been great thus far.

Spot on! It does have a similar vibe as Alone In Love. KWS and KSA is a pairing like fine wine. I am also surprised at how the comedic and poignant moments alternate so well. And contrasts seem to be the game at this phase of the drama as the two leads tiptoeing each other, despite KWS's character might have fallen long before they met again.
Having watched the latest episode, just wonder if the drama should be called Should We Sleep Together First? LOL. And the City Hall reference too.

ALONE IN LOVE is one of my all-time favorites, and also has a "lost child" theme. An interesting parallel. As for the taming of the the bratty shrew, Soon-jin totally cowed Yi-deun when she confronted her in her birthday suit -- after tossing her bitchy little butt into the pond. At some point, Mu-han is going to thank her for that.
The sense I get is that Dad was a workaholic -- or simply living up to his breadwinner role -- and Mom got lonely and took up with someone else, eventually traipsing off to America. Her family was wealthier than Croesus, and if other chaebol divorces are anything to go by, made him terminate all custody rights. Mom conveniently has never told Yi-deun the truth, so the girl blames Dad for everything. At least that's how it appears to me at this time.
If I understood Soon-jin's situation correctly, her boss at the airline was a homewrecker who led hubby astray, but left Soon-jin saddled with caring for her father-in-law. I have a feeling that she truly cared for him, however, and that she misses his company.
Did Byul die? I didn't see the pooch in this week's episodes.

I think woman's situation is even worse than that. I think that they lost their child and then the hubby had an affair and got the other woman pregnant. So not only was she left caring for the father-in-law but she also no longer had a child whereas the bastard ex had a child with the mistress.
And I know I probably shouldn't have laughed when she taught the kid those words, but that was so funny...
I agree with you on the dad's custody rights. I'm guessing he was never allowed to see his kid and is angry that the mother turned her into a spoiled brat.

I think you're right about Soon-jin's losing a baby -- and likely had a bad case of postpartum depression as well. Much like her counterpart in ALONE IN LOVE, she may have grieved so long and hard that hubby strayed. But there may be more to the story. He looks like a total cad right now, but there may be more to that story than meets the eye.
I cracked up at Soon-jin's little vocabulary lesson. It was like a warped episode of SESAME STREET. LOL!
One of the things that I admire about Soon-jin is that she calls a spade a spade. And she apologizes when she finds out she's wrong.

March 2, 2018 at 12:22 PM
@pakalanapikake what I find so annoying about the hubby is that he keeps interfering with her life in a completely useless manner which he's got no right to do anymore and which probably makes wife nr 2 so needy.
What's the point in getting her a new flat when she's considering suicide?
Or at least that's how I interpreted the scene with the loan shark & giving him a kidney in Spring. That's she's expecting to be dead and therefore she should just do whatever she freaking well wants right now.
And yes! A warped version of Sesame Street is the perfect way to describe that scene.

Not only a warped edition of SESAME STREET, but could you imagine a totally whacked-out version of MISTER ROGERS' NEIGHBORHOOD?! "Can you say 'home-wrecker,' boys and girls?" ;-)
The subtitles I saw weren't that great, so it wasn't clear that Soon-jin's ex-husband had bought her a new apartment. I was wondering what the big deal was with his hiding the paperwork. But what kind of idiot conceals it inside a pillowcase that his wife is going to find when she makes the bed? Hello?! This guy is a total dork with a guilty conscience. I've been having flashbacks to FIVE ENOUGH, in which Kwon Oh-jung played a similar ex who ran off with his wife's friend, but still missed her and their kids.
From all the stickers on the movable property in her apartment, I was under the impression that Soon-jin was deep in debt, perhaps from her father-in-law's final medical expenses. I thought she was broke and was going to sell a kidney or something because she had no other way to raise enough cash. But I was a little confused by how accommodating the guy was about scheduling the surgery. What did I miss? -- This is where recaps make all the difference in understanding the fine points.

@pakalanapikake
The ex-husband sold his watch to make the downpayment on the flat. That's why he had to get a fake watch to cover for it. He knew that the home-wrecker would freak out if she found out that he'd sold the watch which her parents had given him as a wedding gift, to get his ex-wife a new place to live.
And - to be fair on her - I totally get that :P
Yes, I agree that she's over her ears in debt - and if it was for the father-in-law's treatments then the ex-husband should have paid for that, surely! I'm not au fait with the ins-and-outs of the loansharking business, but I guess the loanshark can wait, knowing that the interest will only increase and possibly the sale of the kidney will cover all of that?
I just got the idea from the way she was talking to the loanshark and the vibe that she was giving off, that she thought her life would be over by spring. Combine that with her previous suicide attempt (the slit wrist) made me think that she was planning to end it all, now that she had no money, no job anymore and no future. Can you imagine having lived 10 years without having smiled?
But that was never stated clearly, just my read of the situation.

Oh, right. He sold the watch and bought a fake. Is the new wife a chaebol heiress herself? That's one expensive timepiece her folks gave him.
Thanks for your interpretation of the show. It makes more sense to me now. ;-)

After watching episode 8, I watched OUR SOULS AT NIGHT on Netflix. Mu-han read part of the novel to Soon-jin over the phone in the middle of the night. It was pretty good, and gives insight into Mu-han's character. In some ways he's much more akin to the novel's Addie Moore than to Louis Waters. Louis abandoned his own family, much like Soon-jin's ex-husband and Mu-han's ex-wife did. I've commented on the film in the link above, and also on my fan wall.

The interaction between Mu-Han and Soo-Jin is so well-written and acted, especially at this phase when both put up a false front be it SJ's make up act or MH's seemingly indifference that can however not erase the real feelings underneath of two broken people who are destined to meet up (again) - sounding very much like Just Between Lovers....
That's what the scenes of drunken at bar and messing around the love hotel so so 'achingly sweet' as described by a viewer elsewhere.

OT Week 56! Getting some learning on this weekend at an annual conference, but it was a very packed kdrama week as well. I made several k-drama and k-pop recommendations to people this week to almost perfect strangers. The first was our neighbor’s son, who I recently found out was a k-pop fan— but only of girl groups (TWICE, PINK something or other) so who did I introduce him to? You only have one guess, because I only listen to one group— Highlight/Beast! He kept texting me that he liked every song I sent over the course of 2 days, so I ended up just sending him my Spotify playlist! And also, I may be grooming my future son-in-law (or just make him my k-affinity son, regardless. He’s learning Mandarin, so I just need him to learn Korean). He’s the one that watched Train to Busan with me (with his step-mom, one of my best friends). So, now I have a willing and able participant in my quest for good k-pop.
I then met a Korean woman for a second time and her mother for the first time, and said my best greeting in Korean to her mother, who then wanted to know if I knew the language, which then turned into a 30 minute conversation about how I watch K-dramas, and my trip to Canada (and showing them pictures from my blog) because of Goblin, to which the daughter said, “My three friends went there because of that drama too, but I’ve never watched it!” To which I said, “You should totally watch it!” To which her mother said, “For Gong Yoo, if nothing else! Everyone LOVES GONG YOO!” To which I just calmly said, “I can see why. He’s an amazing actor.” While in my head I was going “OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG! I LOVE GONG YOO!” So, they have promised me that they will watch it. I told her that if she caught up, she’d be invited to my party next time—because how cool would it be to have a real Korean mother making food for us? And just before I left them, I asked if they had seen “Healer,” and they had not! I’m going to be their k-dramagrapher since she just thinks there are too many dramas to watch and she doesn’t want to watch bad ones.
And last but not least, I recommended "Radio Romance” to my Korean friend who introduced me to Seo Hyun Jin and “Romantic Doctor Kim.” She posted a picture on FB with her in a radio booth with microphone and she was so beautiful (she happened to be a Miss Korea contestant back in the day) and I had RR flashbacks. She used to DJ in Korea as well! With this, she said that she was going to give me a Korean name, because I’m more Korean than she is at this point— in Hangul! I’m so touched! I’d share it here, but in the interest of anonymity (it’s really close to my real name) I’ll just have to tell you to trust me! My heart is full.
Speaking of “Radio Romance” and full hearts, everyone who is not watching this should just watch episodes 9-10. It will make your day better, I promise. It took a while for this show to hit its stride, but these two episodes are top tier. The cinematography, lighting,...

acting, character development and writing all came together for me, and I am smitten.
Speaking of smitten, my slow decent into “Healer” continues, but I find that I just want to drag it out to continue to enjoy it over a longer time frame. So, still waiting to start episode 6, but just because of that last look in episode 5, I don’t want to think about anything else just yet.
And then because I was on a plane for over 3 hours, I started “Prison Playbook/Wise Prison Living“ on Netflix and I love this too. The lead kind of reminds me of So Ji-Sub and that’s quite fine with me. Also fine is correctional officer Lee, who is so, so pretty. But superficialness aside, my hubby used to work in a prison, and I’ve always wondered the type of people he treated, so I am loving the portrayal of the convicts.
And one more! I’m rewatching “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” with my mother while I’m in town for this conference—probably won’t get 1/3 of the way through it, but that second episode is probably one of my favorites of any drama. Getting my last essay published helped me make this decision. I miss having this OTP on my screen!
So, I shared my Gong Yoo conversation above, so anything else would be redundant. Really, really, redundant.
Moral of the Story: Watch k-dramas and listen to k-pop you never know what friends you’ll end up making through your common interests.
2nd Moral: I may be low-key shipping my daughter with the neighbor’s son, meaning that I’ve probably watched too many k-dramas with large age differences.
3rd Moral: This OT entry took me so long to write, like over an hour, on account that I am trying to learn something about mastocytosis at the same time. *eye roll*

Ally, you are making me do this :-)) . I don't like to be that person, but if you *are* on a quest, I must suggest SHINee. They do something different every time, and it is always good. This was last year:

This was Taemin's solo comeback: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-aIyueKNcY
And in case the spam filter blocks me, I'll leave it there, but do look them up. Sadly it will never be the same after Jonghyun's death, but there were 9 good years before that...

Hahaha I won't insist, I am enough of a pest as it is. But there, I have done my duty :-) . It has been tough, but hopefully the rest of SHINee will find their footing again soon. They have just finished a run of four concerts in Japan, with a lot of sadness, but also a few moments of having fun on stage again. Fingers crossed for the future.
By the way, Jonghyun himself is very much worth checking as a solo artist; not your usual kpop fare. And *now* my work is done :-p .

The brother, Chanhyuk, is currently in the military so they sadly won’t be releasing anything as a duo for a couple of years, but they have plenty of absolute GOLD releases since their official debut in 2014–and even more from before then when they were on K-Pop Star!
I love me some idol groups (especially girl groups), but I like to get people acquainted with the less stereotypical K-Pop acts, and AKMU is a great one to start on! They have such a distinct, unique sound! I’ve never listened to any group/artist that sounds like them. From the lyrics to the melodies and harmonies to the instrumentation, everything about their music is just so clever, quirky, and fun. And Soohyun has the most crystal-clear voice I’ve heard in my life! And they’re just so CUTE!
The song “200%” is quintessential AKMU, and Nam Joo-hyuk is in the MV!
https://youtu.be/0Oi8jDMvd_w
Here’s their latest release, Dinosaur. It was their first time experiencing with EDM but it still retains a definite AKMU flavor.
https://youtu.be/8Oz7DG76ibY
But you can’t go without listening to a live or unplugged performance from them. Here’s them adorably singing “Love is an Open Door” on a radio show!

I watched Kuragehime [Princess jellyfish] 2018 episode 1-5 and I like it, it fresh, fun and the story is fast paced.
I like their determination and how they work hard while the love triangle is happens so smooth.
I like how Shu handled the development girl when she try to bait him with the pills, he doesn't play with people.
I like Kuranosuke attitude and his optimism, love the Amars dedication when they decided to so something and Tsugumi is adorable.
There just this little things that bugged me and Idk what it is, it feels that the drama lack something, like the 1% magic.
I read the manga and watched the anime, they adapted it back to back, it really similar.
Perhaps it's my mood because I enjoy it, I know that it's good but there is something I want there and I go bald before I figure it out.

Hi Everyone! I hope you are all doing well!
This week:
Radio Romance - Poor Su-ho with those awful parents. One's a controlling manipulator and the other is a total doormat. No wonder he never smiles.
Misty - Love everything about this show!! The whodunit, the intrigue, the characters, the style, the execution of the story ..... all of it!
Money Flower - Two more episodes left to watch! ..... I don't know how things are going to end, but I don't know if anyone is going to be left standing, and that includes Kang Pil-joo.
Mystery Queen 2 - Yay! Seol-ok and Wan-seung are back!
Victoria (Season 2) - Sadly, I barely paid attention to this season's last episode (I should re-watch it properly) but it was Christmastime at the palace where there were friendly guests, threatening family members, holiday decorations .... and Prince Albert fell through the ice while ice skating.
That's all for now. ...... Take care everyone and have a great Friday!

I don't believe there is an actor Matt Smith playing a role in this current production of Victoria.
You're referring to Matt Smith who appears in the Doctor Who series? I've never watched this series, but if it's him, I don't believe I've seen him in Seasons 1 and 2 of Victoria. I believe there's a Season 3, so he may be appearing there, but I'm not certain.

I watch Return and I have the impression they didn't only switch the main actress but the writter too. The new actress makes her character pretty creepy. Before she was mysterious and charismatic but now she looks like she was crazy and the story doesn't play anymore the mysterious card, they just gave us all the story. And I can't understand the wife staying with her husband when she knows what he did with his friends. In her place, I wouldn't my daughter close to such crazy and cruel persons.

Ji Soo doesn't deserve to be put in the same category as Nam Joo Hyuk, Suzy or Hyeri, unlike them he can actually portray complex emotions and has never had a lead role in a full-length drama.
Also he first came to public attention for his acting, not his looks.

I haven't read it,
I am also short of drama to watch, I saw that Kakegurui is still ongoing so the sub will be pretty late.
I am going back to anime, watched ancient magus bride but it just doesn't make me feel much, after 5 ep, I only like Elias but it because I think he is the most fleshed out, which doesn't really mean much.
I also watched Violet Evergarden and I think it's good ince I know the idea of the story and it's heartbreaking. I know several of the character backstory way and it better than Ancient Magus Bride,
what funny is that the reception is completely opposite from this two anime.
I read Kingdom [manga], I am so behind the manga when my brain freeze in every war.
Romance is hard in Kdrama lately, perhaps it because the law procedural drama but it doesn't really feel that dry before.
On the other hand, I am weak to saeguk so I don't mind grand prince to be saeguk.
Watch any Jdrama beside Kakegurui?

It’s only March and we already have so many good pairings for this year. It’s like all actors and actresses in their 35+ decide to make a comeback this year.
Does anybody know if it’s true that Korean singers don’t earn much compared to actors? Supposedly it’s a reason why all idols try to achieve in dramas and films.

I actually assumed that many idols got into acting because:
1) acting was their original goal and being an idol is one way to achieve this goal (Park Hyung Sik and Lee Joon if I am correct)
2) An acting career has potentially greater longevity than that of a singer (mainly if we are talking about idols)
That is at least what I gathered, but I would love to be corrected by more knowledgeable Beanies!

Yes on #2 above.
Also (although I don't claim to really know)
Kpop stars don't get paid hardly anything until they have paid off what the agency spent on training them (which might happen about the time they're famous enough to be a draw in a drama).
The transition from singer to actor could be pretty easy if the singer is under an agency with a lot of clout in drama-land. And it might even have more to do with what the agency wants than what the singer wants (?)

I think the other reason of Idol branching out is for the future,
being an idol is a short-lived job and you need to secure your potential for the next job before your idol career ended.
That also the reason they do variety since after being an idol, they still are in the entertainment business so acting is another profession available.
About the payment, I am not sure because idol also works in seasons [comeback vs not comeback] therefore taking another work will definitely add their pocket while the difference is not known as every idol has a different rate and part. Idol with big earner such as yoona, sooyoung, suzy, hyery and possibly seolhyun probably did not do it just for the rate but for visibility and popularity as they also not working when they have no comeback.

KMHM remains my fav k drama ovaerall even after all this time. Initial episodes can be a bit taxing mainly due to the screeching of FL, but later it's toned down. What I love most about this show (besides Ji Sung's acting) is that the backstory was strong and logical enough to have the kind of impact that was portrayed. It was complex, but it tied up almost all the loose ends, a rarity in k drama as far as I am concerned. It's a great mix of comedy, romance, supspense and psychology. And of course Ji Sung elevated it to another level. HJE was decent overall once you get past initial episodes. PSJ and rest of the supporting cast was good. Also if you already have some idea about the story, or have watched initial episodes, I would recommend you to watch episode 7 and 8. They were kind of turning point of the drama. So if you feel invested after watching these episodes, that's great. And if not maybe this drama won't click for you.

Good morning Beanies! Today will be a very busy day but then I have a 3 days weekend \o/
Strongest Deliveryman I was surprised by how much I love this drama. The premise sounded ho hum to me which is why it's taken so long for me to watch it. But I had heard it's good so decided to give it a go. Love all the characters in it, even Oh Jin-Gyu. I love the personal trajectory each character goes through to become the best of who they are. I love the chemistry between all the characters and actors. Never thought a drama about food delivery people and the making of a delivery app would be so compelling but Strongest Deliveryman has made me fall in love.
Misaeng Finally decided to watch this. Had heard many many good things about this but like Strongest Deliveryman the premise didn't sound entertaining to me. I personally like SD more but this is still quite a good drama. It can be a bit slow and plodding at times for me but it is fun to see the characters grow from interns to capable and very talented full-time employees. Everyone praised Siwon in this role but against public opinion I think he is kinda blah. He hasn't shown much range in the role, he always just looks neutral in every scene. Maybe he will show some of the talent later on that everyone was praising but half through the series I've not really seen it yet.
Hwayugi Still slowly watching this. It's entertaining but I want more to happen on the romance front. A lot of does she does he going on. I get Son Oh-Gong is wearing a bracelet that makes him love Seon-Mi but I want to see some actual feeling from him, not something fabricated by the bracelet.

I was reading an article about the first choice of leading roles and it was fascinating. Is there anywhere I can go to see (for example) who was chosen to play a role in a popular (old or new) K-drama. It makes me wonder (for example) how different City Hunter would have been if the lead would have gone to someone else. (I remember reading that Lee Min Ho was not the original choice, but now I've lost the article and I can't find out who was "supposed to be" Lee Yoon-sung/Poochai.

Song Joongki's character in DOTS was apparently written with Won Bin in mind. He supposedly reeeeeaaally considered the offer, but we all know it eventually ended up with Joongki.

Thanks for the reply. This is EXACTLY what I meant. How different would that have been without Joonki!

Or Jang Hyuk in Secret Garden? Or Lee Min Ho in Bad Guy (SBS, 2010)?

He's too nice. His mischief wouldn't be as potentially dangerous as Lee Seung-Ki.

Right? He was cool in Hello monster but I do not see him as hot mess which is what I appreciate on LSG so much.

Happy March madness!
Shows I miss:
Human Condition
Roommate
We Got Married (WGM)
Strong Heart
I'm watching Misty and Radio Romance, both are keeping my attention with good, solid story lines and great acting.
I tried to explain I Can See Your Voice to someone new to k-entertainment. The more I explained, the murkier it got. I'm pretty sure she won't watch it based on my attempt to sell it to her , heck eve I thought it was crazy.
I hope this the last icy weekend this year, please!!

When I got to the part where the guest panelist(s) have to determine the tone deaf singer based on lip sync with a split screen and another person also lip syncing, there was no hope in making any sense of it.

Are you in the Northeast US, too, @owl22? If so, I hope you're well away from the shore. Full moon tides will be bad news. It's already been snowing for 6 hours here in north Jersey. We've been getting some strong wind gusts, too.

Nope, but I have a friend on the shore in NH that was thinking she should drive her car to higher ground last night with the snow/rain and tides warnings.

Sounds like a wise decision, and I hope she got out while the gettin' was good. ;-)
