I’m so proud of my son (who I previously adopted here on DB)! If he does accept the gig, it will be a perfect segway from his current role in 30 but 17! The premise seems very pedestrian though and since there are so many good dramas coming up, I may have to support this one from the sidelines.

"I have designed an app to allow, let's say, a man, to inform a woman who is no further than 10 meters away (what? no, it is not stalkerish) that she is his object of affection. Aaand that woman, who also happens to have downloaded the app and has its notification turned on, will be alerted of his presence and feelings.

It totally works because there is nothing sexier than someone who has a secret crush on you but that particular feeling is not enough to challenge him to gather up the courage and to have an actual conversation with her. This will help further eliminate face-to-face interaction which has been very on trend for the last 10 years.

I don't know who he is but that's such a pretty picture of kim so-hyun. They appeal to me visually but I haven't seen him in anything so I don't about how they'll come together with their acting. I trust her when it comes to carrying a drama so I'm happy if she can get a lead who looks as cute as that. I only found out recently she was considering this drama but I didn't know it was a TVN drama with a simulcast on Netflix. I like the sound of that but does it mean we won't get the subbed episodes till they all come out?

gah, he's adorable- my only worry is that I expect the lead male role is for the 'prickly' one in the love triangle, and I'm not super confident that he's strong enough an actor yet to transcend his puppy/sunshine/rainbow status, al la Nam Joo Hyuk.

Her two last dramas were pretty bad for me. I didn't finish Radio Romance (she was miscasted) and nearly finished Ruler - Master of the Mask (the writting was very bad). I hope this one will be better.

Something about AHS's appearance in 30 but 17 totally makes him endearing, I can't point out what really but regardless it's definitely working out in his favor. Before this show he always gave an unfriendly vibe but here I feel like I need a chan in my life too. He's sweet, unabashed, doesn't shy away from confessing his feelings in front of a room full of people even if it makes him look like a fool, so is there anyone who can't relate to that? Haha. But I'm really happy for him and hoping that kim so hyun doesn't reject this role. She needs to do younger roles for at least 3 more years before venturing into those forced adult roles like radio romance, eh.
I was hoping for a school 2015 reunion with Sungjae but this one I can totally go with too!

Ahn Hyo-seop did a good job in Father is Strange- though he did not get a huge amount of screen time. Cute can be nice and fun- and I find that drama's adapted from webtoon's or manwha's (or manga's) tend to have more substance to them than the plot premise would have suggested. What's Wrong With Secretary Kim? is a good example of what I mean.

Oh I'm so happy, another exciting news! I've been waiting for Kim so hyun new drama, because I don't really like her last two (radio romance, ruler) I hope this one will do some justice and become another good role for her. And of course seeing Ahn Hyo-seop again so early after 30but17 will never hurt anybody. The story quite confusing for me tho, but I'm hopeful with this pairing already

This will be nice exposure for him. I think there was another drama he was supposed to be a lead in that got rescheduled due to illness by the lead actor and he had to drop out of it.

The premise is normal for a rom-com but I'll happily watch this for him. I'm happy if he accepts coz people are rotting for him now after his cute and adorable performance in Thirty but seventeen.😍

I dread love triangle, but I crave for youth romance. I'll check it, I hope it'll be at least watchable.

Just started Thirty But Seventeen and he is adorable in it and Splish Splash Love is one of my favourite dramas so I'm all in. I would love to see Kim So Hyun back on my screen. The premise seems very interesting. The execution should be good if its a collaboration between Netflix and tvn. Fingers crossed.

But Kim So Hyun doesn't seem to have a chance of pairing with someone in a similar height range.

Hopefully they both accept. I think they'll look good together, and I've been hoping to see So-hyun again in romcoms after Let's Fight Ghost. That was my favorite of the full-length dramas where she was the lead. Hopefully the directing and writing can back up her talent this time.

I was ambivalent when Ahn Hyo-seop was cast in Clean With Passion For Now since I wasn't impressed with his performances before, but man did he win me over in 30 But 17. It's a shame he had to drop out, but it worked out best for him.

I'm not sure Love Alarm will air this year though. TvN already has a full roster of new dramas this November with Memories of the Alhambra, Boyfriend, and Gyeryong's Fairy. Maybe January, February-ish? We'll see.

He actually won the girl in The Ring (help me Beanies as I'm pretty sure that's the title of a horror movie and not the title I'm looking for). The main heroine he won was the multi-talented Kim Seul gi.

I took a second look at this and just saw that the director also directed Fight My Way. This is good news- and it should both of the leads do their best.
