I would love to see skincare or beauty items that are popular from certain dramas, especially since some PPL is so heavy handed!

How about a copy of the OST, like the Hotel de Luna soundtrack? It would make for a nice collectible piece for us drama and music lovers.
I would also like iconic jewelry piece, if possible, like the necklace from Boys Before Flowers.

It would be nice to have a theme like a sageuk box, rom-com box, etc.
As for what I want inside, a shirt with a print of a famous line from the drama. For example, "Am I the only one who's uncomfortable?" from 100 Days, My Prince and SWAGGGG with weights on top for WFKBJ.

It would be nice to have it more drama-centered since snacks can mostly be bought worldwide. It would be cute to have snacks/food seen in dramas in the box though.

I just recently (like yesterday) saw the ever-elusive, ever-mysterious konjac jelly which was mentioned in Pretty Noona (the noun that the FL was compared to that first episode). It was in apple and grape! I didn’t buy it, but would try it in a BeanieBox! And I’m late to the party, but a box with Gong Yoo-inspired snacks, beauty products and coffee would have my name written all over it.

I've thought of some other things! The little pour-in packets that are always product placed in the shows, like the coffee or energy/vitamin packets. Or the ones you drink. Any ppl item would be fun. Something kimchi-flavored! Drama themed plushies - I know not many (especially small ones) exist but I had to put it, because I love them. And last but of course not least- RAMYUN!

I would love to see some (moderately inexpensive) product placement-type items in the box. For example, an instant coffee packet! We see many of these products repeatedly in kdramas, so why not help us international folks discover what makes them so special?

All the cutesy stuff we see. Maybe some mini plushies? I like the idea of books like others have mentioned. Face masks, snacks. Like a drama marathon kit. Curious, what is the price point for the beanie box?

Didn't we once have dramabeans merch? It would be great to see something like that in the box! That and PPL snacks if they're easily obtainable for you guys :)

A box with hard to get snacks from dramas would be lovely! Living in a smaller town in the Midwest now, I really miss the large Asian markets and bakeries! Going through serious Asian/Korean snack withdrawals!

I’m not in the US (*sob sob*) so don’t count me in, but haven’t seen this suggestion (I think?) so will add this:

Each box can have a fun fact on Korea.

Can be a location which is great to travel to (Shopping in Myeongdong is awesome!), a history fact (like Who is King Sejong and where can you see his statue?), a food fact (Why is Miyeokguk eaten during birthdays?) etc etc.
(Sorry my examples may be a bit lame 🤣)

The fact can be drama related or not. (Drama related, even better, you can put a QR code link to the recap for the drama 😉)

You can even tie up with the Korean Tourism Board maybe? (*cough:sponsorship:cough*)

Great idea. I’d love to see included in box discount coupons for streaming sites like Viki, Kocowa, on demand Korea- maybe a coupon for a one-time 10-20% off their monthly subscription fee.

OST DVD is good too as well as any fanclub merch for their stars... those fan made gifts with coffee trucks and meals.

Definitely yes to Korean snacks, especially seasonal ones! Some small hanji trinkets would be awesome too!

i know that this is not possible, but to hell with it. I want korean fried chicken in that box!!! every drama i have seen this past week has a gratuitous eating fried chicken scene in it and I cannot deal with munchies that it gives me.

could we have options? like there are usually like 3-4 huge mainstream dramas airing every month and we could pick which drama we like the best and maybe the box can have 1/2 special items that pertain specifically to that drama.. so the bulk of the box stays the same, just a little difference based on which of the dramas you choose

Love it! I've wanted to support the site over the years but have never really used skincare or makeup (gasp am I really Korean). Definitely second all who've suggested kdrama or kdrama character inspired boxes. Also, this is in the future, utterly random, and probably too high a price point for the box, but I got my eye on the english translation of Kim Ji-young, born 1988 (due out 2020)...

When I was a kid, I grew up visiting my relatives in Korea every summer. My grandmother would always feed me these shrimp crackers and my aunt would buy me Kancho (chocolate-filled cookie/crackers). My favorite though was this snack called bbusheo-bbusheo (literal translation: crush crush). Literal ramen snack. My cousins and I would sit outside and put in the seasoning and crush them with tiny wooden mallets and eat that and cool ourselves with melon ice cream bars. In one Beanie box, I'd like to see a box filled with old memories that bring smiles and nostalgia to many people.
