I am so excited for this drama! Love that it's finally a man cross-dressing as the premise rather then the woman. And boy does he make a beautiful woman.

This teaser looked fun the first ten times I watched it, but knowing that So-hyun plays a gisaeng (trainee?) who can't dance just made it funnier. XD

Why Kin So Hyun is in short hair? Is it in Joseon era? I'm a bit confuse with the timeline because I thought woman not suppose in a short hair and married woman must tied up her hair, that .. if it's in Joseon era.

Have you guys seen the posters? The first time I have seen them I didn't realize it was a man! I thought to myself "she looks like Seo Ye Ji and really pretty." Second time I saw the poster the headline said it was a guy. I did a double take and was impressed and thought "damn he is so pretty for a guy". In every cross dressing drama we discuss how ridiculous it is that nobody catches on as the female lead is so obviously a girl. And I always thought a boy dressing as a girl would stick out like a sore thumb even more so color me really impressed. Of course the teaser is another story. He either is not trying to hide or it's not all in the face. The shoulders, body shape, the way he moves gives it away but I am ready to suspend my disbelief as I love cross dressing dramas and I am really looking forward to the novelty of it being the guy who cross dresses.

I wonder about Kim So Hyun's hair though as it looks very anachronistic with the period. Furthermore she is a gisaeng in training. Wouldn't she need long hair for elaborate hairdos? And the obvious extensions in the second still are bothering me.

But all in all I love romcoms, crossdressing, the two leads, so I'm all in.

It's amazing how people see different things. All I see is a man dressed as a woman. Even if someone showed me a picture without me being aware of the facts I would say "she" looks manly.

(shock, betray, relief) The scene usually involves a wayward stream or river and an accidental fall. Where the Hyung who has for some time now been questioning his sexuality, while also pushing away his friend. Hyung then does the noble thing and tries tor save his friend. The scene often involves the removal of wet clothes, to allow breathing (or to do CPR) only to discover boobs. Yes, This Scene! I need the reverse of this scene. What is the reverse of this? I enjoyed Jang Dong-yoon in SOLOMON’S PERJURY but really became a fan after watching his portrayal as Min-ho in A POEM A DAY.
I have come to trust JDY’s judgement in the projects he chooses.
After all when his appearance in JUST DANCE was announced I expressed misgivings that at age 26 and army veteran he was choosing to appear in another high school drama. Well what happened? He wins a 2018 KBS Drama Award (Special Short Drama Actor)!

has this ever been done before? omg........my gay dreams. this makes me really happy. i hope they don't mess it up. i've really gotten into the history of joseon and all the movements. i'm pretty vehemently against the idea of a concubine and gisaengs so it's always interesting to me to see how these characters are written (in rebel thief i loved it, really sad and poignant.) always interested in shows that inspect the sexuality of that era.

he looks amazing. yes he has 'manly' features but he's beautiful. if this is done well, if the writers can push themselves and break out of the binary we've set, then it can show us just how much gender and its idea has changed in different cultures. instead of focusing how he "looks like a man in a dress" and one can "tell" the story is the focal point and unfolding the gender-bender aspect. this is super exciting...idk much about so hyun but it seems like she picks (or gets) cool characters
