Lee Jun-hyuk, Nam Ji-hyun return to the past in new teaser for MBC’s 365: Repeat the Year

A new video teaser has been released for MBC’s upcoming suspense-thriller 365: Repeat the Year (a.k.a. 365: A Fate-defying Year), featuring the main leads as well as supporting cast.
The story follows 10 individuals who are given the chance to go back 1 year into the past in order to “reset” their past year and try to live it better. However, once in the past, they find themselves trapped in a mysterious competition for survival. It becomes a battle of wits as they try to piece together who is telling the truth and uncover the true motivations behind the host who lured them into this game.
In leading roles, Lee Jun-hyuk (The Lies Within) plays police officer Ji Hyung-joo and Nam Ji-hyun (100 Days My Prince) plays webtoon artist Shin Ga-hyun. Both characters are among the group of 10 who decide to reset 1 year of their past. While Kim Ji-soo (Fox Bride Star) plays Lee Shin, the mysterious host who invites the group to take part in the time travel experiment.
The teaser begins with Lee Jun-hyuk on the phone and we hear Kim Ji-soo talking to him, “I can give you an opportunity to go back to the past. It’s a chance to restart your life.” We see the group of 10 individuals meeting together with Kim Ji-soo. In voice-over, Lee Jun-hyuk explains, “I’m going to try. It sounds crazy, but I’m willing to try anything.” While Nam Ji-hyun pleads, “I want to go back. No, I need to go back.” It cuts to a sequence of shots showing each person waking up after travelling back in time. Kim Ji-soo stands in her office with her back to the camera. She tells the group, “If you want to return, then survive. You have to. Well, then, I’ll see you in the past.” And the video teaser ends with close-up shots of Lee Jun-hyuk and Nam Ji-hyun.
Writing for the drama is writers, Lee Seo-yoon and Lee Soo-kyung; and directing will be helmed by PD Kim Kyung-hee (Ruler-Master of the Mask).
MBC’s new Monday-Tuesday drama 365: Repeat the Year is currently set to premiere on March 23.

Oh no! Not a THE THIRD CHARM controversy redux. So many thought TTC was going to be a rom-com and it was anything but.
From what I gather from synopses these folks going back in time are going to be in survival mode. There might not be much time for romance.

So glad that this is not a rom com. This is a mystery thriller. ive seen both the teaser and posters for this drama, 365 a year of defying fate, on Instagram and they're good. it will be my first time to watch Lee joon hyuk so im pretty excited. Ive read that he is a good actor thats why im happy that he is partnering with my favorite korean actress, Nam ji hyun.
This is a new genre for Nam ji hyun, she has been doing rom com, since 2016 and i believe that she will do well. ive been her supporter since queen seondok days.
Good luck to all the cast members of this drama. hope this series will receive lots of love ans support from viewers.

She is my favorite actress too, Nam ji hyun. Her last drama was 100 Days my prince/ Hundred days my husband with DO which aired in 2018.

i hope that this drama get at least decent viewership ratings from the start of airing until the end. I just have a soft spot for nam ji hyun so i want her projects to be successful. . i also miss her. It has been 2 years since i last saw her on small screen.
i hope the drama will become a success.

Good to know that it is not a romance show. the last drama of lee joon hyuk where he was the lead, One poem a day, did not do well in terms of rating. One poem a day was the story of people who work at the hospital.
Average rating for the 16 episodes was only 1%. this was shown in 2018 at TvN.
but i have high hopes for this series, 365 Repeat the year. he is a good actor. As the lead, i hope he will be able to carry the drama well. i will definitely check this out. looks interesting and intense.

I am really looking forward to watching one of my favorites Lee Joon-hyuk (1984) in his upcoming drama. I am looking forward to seeing him out of a suit for once.

Thank you for the information! I too am looking forward to seeing LJH in casual attire, although for two of my favorite performances (City Hall and City Hunter) we never saw him out of a suit. I guess I should try Naked Fireman, LOL

@skelly, you might enjoy this.
I did not enter the world of kdramas until 2016 so of course I did not see CITY HUNTER when it aired live in 2011. It was however the fifth kdrama I watched. HEALER was first (hence my db name).
Tbh I am a little bit sketchy on the plot but I do remember a scene where LJH’s character is pissed because he spots LMH’s character wearing one his suits.
(Iirc Clothes--wise LMH was in a jamb and the FL helped him out by giving him one of LJH’s suits which she happened to have!)

i also wish for this series to succeed in terms of viewership rating. however, most dramas if not all that are broadcasted in MBC get low ratings like Love with flaws, The Game towards zero. i want this to be successful for my love for the leads Lee joon hyun and Nam ji hyun. ive seen the new trailer at vlive and the series looks interesting.

indeed... i was feeling as if i am alone feeling reluctant towards NJH and was badly disappointed on knowing the casting news.. but cant help and can only hope she does better acting to let me finish the drama till end.
