Drama viewership ratings for the week of May 31-June 6, 2021

New month, new dramas. We had youth sports drama Racket Boys premiere Monday to 5.7 percent and then Penthouse’s third season premiere Friday to 19.5 percent. Penthouse will be airing only once a week this time around, though I doubt that will affect the drama negatively — the series is a force to be reckoned with.
Over the weekend, thriller Dark Hole came to a quiet end, after having an equally quiet 12-episode run. Meanwhile, dramas Youth of May, Sell Your Haunted House, Law School, and Undercover are getting ready to wrap up. Be sure to say goodbye to your favorites! Did you round it up? 'Cause I just checked and its highest ratings are 7.957% (nationwide) and 7.100% (Seoul) for EP11. It's close to 8 but it's still not 8. Please don't inflate and post factual information.

I think all the ratings are nationwide, and clearly they are all rounded up, so I think it's fair to say that Bossam hit 8.0% when we are comparing it with the rest of this table.

All ratings are just estimates anyway, so it is actually more precise to say that it is around 8% than to insist on some very specific number...

At the end of Dark Hole credit, a newcaster came on saying a town has been hit by a SINKHOLE. *roll eyes* They cant be serious!
I hope they dont plan another season or sequel. Money is better spent on other dramas OCN.

Ooff. I wonder how does DAYS team feel about their rating. I mean, great casting, high expectations, but then the rating went downhill while a-not-so-hyped-gumiho-but-unexpectedly-fun drama goes higher and higher. As someone who likes both PBY and SIG, I am quite scared to see this week rating.

It dropped even more. The bigger issue is that it's not silently flopping because they did publicise it as a big production and all so everyone knows about it. It's a bit of a vicious cycle, since people are less likely to start/continue watching a drama in a ratings slump.
