Kim Sun-ho and Yoon-ah cast in new film helmed by director of Exit

As we head into the middle stretch of his current drama Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Kim Sun-ho has been busy lining up his next project. He’ll soon be heading to the big screen to star in a new movie alongside Yoon-ah (Hush).
Titled Date at 2 p.m., this will be director Lee Sang-geun’s first movie after the success of his 2019 debut action flick Exit. Exit won a slew of awards and also starred Yoon-ah, who is returning to work with director Lee for a second time.
The story for Date at 2 p.m. is said to be a heartwarming and fairytale-like rom-com. Yoon-ah plays the part of a woman hiding an unimaginable secret, while Kim Sun-ho plays her upstairs neighbor. The two start running into each other almost every day and, with each encounter, their connection grows stronger and love blossoms between them.
Date at 2 p.m. is currently in the planning stages and filming is expected to begin in March of 2022.

This would be totally up my alley if I liked YoonA as an actress. As a Girls’ Generation fan, it breaks my heart to say it, but I find her dull onscreen.
That said, I’m happy for Kim Seon-ho. He absolutely deserves all his recent successes. I might eventually check it out just for him, if the reviews are strong.

I'm happy for Kim Seon-ho. His first film role! It's crazy how much has changed for him in the past year.
Yoon-ah has never impressed me in dramas, but I liked her in Exit. I hope this film is a success.

Ooof the MC pairing finally paid off <3
I started as a soshi fan AND Yoona is my ult but I don't think I have finished any of her drama--- I mean I even watched other soshi actress line drama more lmao
I don't know but I think it's just she hasn't lucked out much on dramas, however she is great on films! And soooo excited for this!
And finger-crossed to that new drama with Lee Jongsuk<3 So proud that she's booked and busy tho <3

when they co-host MBC song fest, chemistry will be great and they look so good together. The story sound interesting n fun. Bravo to Seon Ho 1st film, my dream came true.

Not sure about this pairing. I have mixed feelings about Yoon-ah's acting. Never felt connected to her characters, her acting always lacked something. But somehow she is in high-demand, a bit overrated, just like Jin Se-yeon.

Maybe it's a good thing I "met" Yoon-ah in Hyori's Home Stay/Bed & Breakfast. Her RL persona is very capable, smart and exceedingly kind, especially to guests who are unwell. She bonded with Bo-gummie and they were both diligent workers. Maybe her forte is actually film so fingers crossed for this one (hopefully Netflix will pick it up??).

I don't feel that good about this pairing. For me, though Kim Seon-ho aka BB is good at acting, I am not sure if he, alone, can hold the whole story by himself. As much as I can recall, he met a lot of extremely good actors in his past projects. Though I think Yoon-ah is cute in Hyeori's B&B, I never came back to finish that show. I never feel the charisma of Yoon-ah as an actress, but I agree that she is beautiful.

Yoon-ah is the current k-drama acting cow - - - she is working non-stop in both films and dramas because of her popularity, what the U.S. would call the pretty "girl-next-door" image.

Yoona will have more movies under her belt than KTR at this rate. She has also been slowly raking in the elite movie awards. Guess she'll be the new Box Office Queen soon.

Yoon-ah is fine for me. I liked her in The King is in Love and movie Exit. Have to say I don't get both the bashing of Yoon-ah as well as the high praise given to Kim Sun Ho. He's just an ok actor. Not exactly top tier, put him on a pedestal material. And also, this will sound strange, I liked him in Start Up when he wasn't smiling so much. For some reason, his smile looks weird to me. I had the same reaction watching him in Two Cops. I know it's ironic when people are falling over his you-know-what. LOL
