Kill Heel: Episodes 5-6 (Drama Hangout)

Behold, your weekly Drama Hangout! We might not be covering this drama, but that doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be a place to talk about it, whether that’s squealing with excitement or piling on the analysis.

This thread is exclusively for this week’s episodes and anything prior, so let’s try to keep it as a place to chat about what’s aired — not spoil future plot points for unsuspecting eyes.

There were of course hints that there’s a dark side to Oksun from the beginning, but it came across to me as hiding pain, not an elaborate, completely bonkers long con against Moran, wow. WOW!

Moran is already cracking from the pushback she’s getting from Hyun, but holy cow when this business with the son is revealed to her (and to us!), oh boy, I am ready.

I’m not at all interested in Hyun, but Everyone Else is so interesting and layered and intriguing. My favorite after the goddess Moran is the CEO’s wife: I love every moment she is on screen.

the show is trying so hard to sell that clumsy assistant PD as the character to like, to root for, it's so annoying for me that I almost throw my remote to my tv when Mi Ran said 'she reminded me of you in the past, the younger woo hyun, so honest and straight forward',
[azkiya: oh c'mon show! don't do this to me! what is this with kdrama obsession on making a clumsy and annoyingly naive and borderline stupid character as "the replication of the female lead in her younger days" ?? it's just lazy writing and directing, coz there are many other ways to do it rather than shoe horned me that annoying character].

other than the existance of that assistant, I like how the battle of the three ladies (especially with their respective career and/ personal life) has only begun, and it was quite chilling to see oksun snap the coffee cup after her sugary manner infront of foster kids, I guess she has her own dark deal,,and I hope it will get more interesting in the next episodes. Bring it on!

Mo Ran and the PD assistant ruined it for me. Mo Ran character is supposed to be intimidating but is talking down others so intimidating? She seems to think that she's so smart and scary that everyone would dance to her tune. That's why she's throwing a tantrum when things don't go her way, like a spoiled kid. She could be an interesting character if they wrote her differently,
The PD assistant is just purely annoying. I don't know why she gets so much screen time, not a main cast. They only have 14 episodes why waste it on her or they don't have enough content to fill the episodes.
Only watching for Kim Ha Neul.
