The story is about a helper service for people who need a companion to attend gatherings, like school reunions, where you’re pressured to bring a date. [Newsen, YTN]
  • In TVING’s new drama Cruel Intern, we can look forward to a strong female (frenemy) friendship with Ra Mi-ran (Dr. Park’s Clinic) returning to the workforce after seven years away. First, Sohn Seok Gu! After Be Melodramatic, I've been waiting! I watched DP (sadly you didn't feature much) and Episode 6 of Jirisan for you! (Thankfully, it appears that I saved myself from watching the rest of the show) I actually think your next show could be contending for a best in 2022, and here's hoping that the writer pulls through once again.

Next, Chae Jong Hyeop! Finally no longer the 2nd male lead. But the writer's last drama is questionable (Tomorrow for You) ... I don't know, hopefully this wasn't a mistake on your agent's part.

And last but not least, Yook Sung Jae and Lee Jong Won. I like that pairing a lot and both male actors have the ability to carry a show (I wouldn't make the same assumption for the female leads). But the synopsis on MDL sounds quite makjang if you remove the fantasy element, will have to wait for more plot details to come out to determine the hype level even though I'll probably watch it.

Yes! Sohn Seok Gu! I, too, have been waiting and waiting for this day. I have high hopes that this writer and PD can do with him what Lee Sun Kyun did in My Mister - which is - create magic! I was so excited when I realized it was him bundled in that coat and muffler on the poster.

My Liberation Diary is definitely one of my most anticipated dramas of the year.

The title of the drama Park Min Young is in talks for is terrible.

Not just the title the plot is dated and cliched.

Let's keep this trend of pairing Park Min-young with male leads her age.

I'm so impatient for My Liberation Diary! I love the actors! Sohn Seok-Gu is too rare in drama!

I have no idea if Chae Jong-hyeop is ready for a first lead role but he's super cute and Park Joo-Hyun already showed she's good in very different types of dramas. Going to You at a Speed of 493 km looks good for now.

Sponsor's production seems to be a drama itself...

This is a whole lot of news, and a lot to digest.

I hope My Liberation Day is a far cry from Oh! Master for Lee Min-ki.

Jevenile Justice looks like a must watch, and I must say that Lee Jung-eun is rocking that oldies look, in this and Lee Joon-iks drama stills.

Anxiously expecting Shin Hye-suns next project. An action comedy is ....I cant wait.

Yoo Yoon Seok x Park Min-young pairing. TV Gods never forget this bracket.

1. Han Ji Min said her omnibus drama on tvn ( Our Blues ) with Lee Byung Hun, Shin Mina, Kim Woo Bin, Uhm Jung Hwa & Cha Seung Won is going to air in April (9th likely)! Woohoooo!
2. YESSS! My Liberation Diary! Yay! Can you tell I have a thing for 'japanese-looking' stories that aren't j-doramas?! 😅The fact that it's a jTBC drama, and the trio that plays siblings... cannot wait for this one!
3. Tree Dying... was s'posed to have Son Yejin as well, so disappointed not to see her. My dying grandmother, just like Youn Yu Jung's character who arrived from North Korea after the separation, wishes to visit her motherland one last time. I hope that's her last wish, and I would love to see KHN sneaking her into North Korea! <3
4. Park Min Young is finally getting a costar from her generation of actors, hooray!
5. Super excited for Golden spoon!
6. Han Chae Young's styling makes her look like Shin Se Kyung from certain angles.

SYJ is also confirmed for Tress as is YYJ. All three actors will be in the drama. KBS already announced it in their presentation in Jan.

There was some backtrack from that; SYJ agency did not confirm casting. Recent reports SYJ has no confirmed schedule for 2022 due to her marriage.

Yoo Yeon-seok and Park Min-young is the pairing I didn't know I needed but must have right now. Title should be revised, however.

Sohn Seok-gu! The cast of My Liberation Diary is awesome and with that writer, it can't not be at least watchable. Will be watching.

Also, I'm highly curious to the pairing of Yoo Yeon-seok and Park Min-young. I'm so happy they're the same age. Let the sparks fly! And the kisses...😏

493 km is about the North to south dimension of South Korea. Perhaps that has something to do with the story?

First of all, Sohn Seuk-goo is starring in a drama in which he'll feature prominently, which, YEEEEESSSSS. And then the rest of the cast is great. I'm excited. This is the one I'm most excited for.

Next. Is that Kang Haneul in the yellow cardigan in those pictures? If so, I honestly didn't recognize him. It doesn't look at all like him, but maybe it's just me. Anyhoo, Trees Die Standing is another one I'll be looking out for.

Then the Yoo Yeon-seok and Park Min-young one. The premise doesn't sound like anything spectacular, but I like both actors, and I think they'd have great chemistry on-screen.

Finally, I might check out Golden Spoon once it's out, although I'm not a fan of Jung Chae-yeon.

And, once again, Sohn Seuk-goo is starring in a drama and he has a major role in it!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾💃🏾🤸🏾‍♀️

Words cannot describe how excited I am for My Liberation Diary. The more I hear about it, the more excited I get. That actor lineup, that writer + PD, that plot. Just chef’s kiss.

It’s good to see Kang Ha-neul back in a drama. I’ve missed him. The drama’s also got Son Ye-jin and Youn Yuh-jung in talks, so I’m definitely gonna check it out.

I really like Chae Jong-hyeop and it seems he’s risen to leading man status FAST. I’m not anticipating a Racket Boys-level masterpiece, but I do hope a badminton drama doesn’t disappoint. That would be sad.

Shin Ha-kyun in a drama…and it’s a TVING production. I swear it’s actually getting more difficult, not less, to watch dramas these days. I hate having to rely on k*ssa*ian or dr*ma*ool, but I can’t afford more platforms. And that’s before getting into the main issue for international viewers: will it get subbed?

Park Min-young with a male lead around her age? And it’s Yoo Yeon-seok?? Yes please. I’m all here for it. If it’s a romance (it’s a PMY joint, so obviously), I look forward to some great kiss scenes. Now if only they change the title…

Another TVING drama with actors I like… I really wish these productions would get picked up by Viki or even Netflix for international distribution.

I’m not sure about Green Mother’s Club, but it’s been so long since Unfamiliar Family. I miss Chu Ja-hyun.

Shin Hye-sun can literally do no wrong. I could watch her boil water for 16 hours straight and still think she’s a genius. Get that coin, queen.

Thanks for the news, @tccolb. That really was a lot to know about.

Shin Ha-kyun's drama will be releasing internationally on Paramount+. On the plus side, subtitles should be good. But... that is yet another platform and I don't know if I can add another subscription to my list either, lol.

Drama gods, please make the Yoo Yeon-seok and Park Min-young pairing happen!!!

My Liberation Diary's poster is great! I'm interested in the drama too... But I feel like I need to hurry up and watch the writer's previous work My Ajusshi. >.< (I know. Super super late.)

I have started reading the webtoon, See You In my 19th Life. Shin Hye Sun can do justice to the lead female role. I do not know anything about Wax Doll though. So whatever drama she ends up doing, I will definitely check it out.

I am quite looking forward to My Liberation Day because the leads are among my faves. The premise sounds too general though so will definitely check it out to see what its all about.
