I Don’t Feel Like Doing Anything turns up the breezy, thoughtful vibes in new stills

ENA might be holding back on the actual release date, but the stills have been coming in hot for upcoming slice-of-life drama I Don’t Feel Like Doing Anything. Starring Seolhyun (The Killer’s Shopping List) and Im Shi-wan (Tracer), the drama is set in the countryside in the summer, and has such a breezy laidback feel that I’m in love with it already.

Our heroine Lee Yeo-reum (Seolhyun), whose first name literally means “summer,” leaves the noise and chaos of her life and work in the city and decides to strike out on her own in the countryside. Love her already. In said countryside she meets a shy librarian, Ahn Dae-beom (Im Shi-wan), who’s also in a period of limbo in his life. Two high school characters also play prominent roles in the story, but the current stills focus on our leads, and I’m more than okay with that. In fact, I’m ready to book my plane ticket and contemplate life with these two characters, pet puppies, and drink coffee — even if it’s only vicariously.

Written and directed by Lee Yoon-jung (The Lies Within, Coffee Prince) and Hong Moon-pyo, the 12-episode drama premieres sometime this month, following Gaus Electronics.

Great news for US viewers. ENA’s I DON’T FEEL LIKE DOING ANYTHING is already on Viki US’s “Coming Soon” list under the title: SUMMER STRIKE which for once I think is a nifty alternative. No availability angst.
After his performance in TRACER I love Siwan’s choice for next project.
@abalyn, is it me or did the plum lipstick follow Siwan from TRACER? I hope not. Maybe it is my imagination.
@missvictrix, if you find a coffee shop wherever these folks are would you mind texting me the location? I wouldn’t hanging out and doing nothing but observe these two lol.

I'm not an Im Shi Wan fan, but his plum lipstick has come up so many times recently that I did a google search. Looks like his natural lip colour is very dark. With such a deep colour the slightest lip gloss will make it look like plum lipstick.

Viki actually has me a bit worried- they have it listed as SUMMER STRIKE (which is fine) but under genre they are listing this as "romance, Thriller and suspense".

I really hope they got that wrong.

From people that have read the webtoon said that the thriller element is very close to reality and allot of it was just about life.

I've not actually watched an Im Shi Wan drama, just stopping by to say he's very prettyyy! And I love his hair style in this.

got it on my list. Looks to be fun and easy. Getting used to 12 episodes which is nice for time constraints and makes for a tighter story overall.

Im Shi-wan is soooooooo cute!!!!!!! Oh my... When i first met him in Misaeng, I never thought i would like him as a man this much!
He made my heart flutter in Run on, and now this pictures alone.... They do the job. I will definitively be watching this!
