Toasting to a new teaser for Work Later, Drink Now 2

One year after the first installment lifted our spirits, Work Later, Drink Now is back to raise another toast with its sequel. A month ahead of its premiere, the show has released its first teaser, and it looks more than ready to pour us a shot of hilarity and heart.

The teaser begins with our tipsy trio clinking their soju glasses to a cheer, followed by a montage of (many) drinking parties. These girls can certainly hold their liquor! They’re back cooler, cuter, and with even more chemistry than ever.

Lee Sun-bin (Toxic) plays broadcast writer Ahn So-hee, who has a lot of pent-up stress that eventually spills over in frustrated screams of increasing intensity. In contrast, Han Sun-hwa (Why Her?) plays happy pill Han Ji-yeon, a yoga instructor who isn’t above making silly faces with leaves as eyebrows and seaweed stuck on her teeth. Her smiles come as naturally as her splits, and she drunkenly rattles off nonsense phrases in a baby voice, ending with a hearty hiccup.

Rounding out our trio is feisty origami YouTuber Kang Ji-goo — played by Jung Eun-ji (Blind) — who’s armed with her fists, her (censored) middle finger, and… her knife? Gulp. We also get a glimpse of Choi Siwon (Love is for Suckers), who’s returning as the other half of So-hee’s office romance.

Though he doesn’t appear in the teaser, Yoon Shi-yoon (It’s Beautiful Now) will be reprising his role as an origami enthusiast, folding his way to an adorable loveline with Ji-goo. In addition, we can expect to see Sohn Ho-joon (The First Responders), who has been confirmed for a cameo appearance.

Directed by Park Soo-won (Birthplace Center) and written by Wie So-young (Work Later, Drink Now), TVING original Work Later, Drink Now 2 is set to premiere on December 9.

They’re back! My QUEENS are back!

Gonna be fun seeing the juxtaposition of Choi Siwon’s characters in Love Is For Suckers and Work Later, Drink Now. I prefer his character in the latter, I just enjoy watching messy people on my screen ~

Kang Ji-goo is definitely girl crush material, I mean if I were her student I’d also be crushing hard buuut c’mon Han Ji-yeon is definitely giving me bisexual viibes, pls give me the sapphic romance this show deserves drama gods!
