Watched episode 1 last night - then found out that Netflix dropped all episodes! I enjoyed what I have seen so far and plan on watching more episodes in between the celebrations.

Because the broadcast was delayed for over a month all the episodes were available- so why not post them all? It was a good decision by Netflix

Netflix does that for all of their originals.

I will simply ask a question: Will eight episodes be enough.

Yes it’s enough in a good way or bad way?

I answered this around ep 4, and I haven’t moved past mid ep-6 for the past two weeks. It’s not bad but it’s not all that interesting either.

Ive watched 3 eps, and I’m not that intrigued. Still, I will probably try to stick with it for a fair chance for it to win me over 😉

All this time I thought The Fabulous was gonna be a MOVIE. LOL! And now that NF has dropped 8 episodes it makes me wonder if that’s the complete series or i’d have to wait 16 years for part 2?

We have now watched the first 4 episodes. The first episode was a bit confusing but eventually things were better sorted out.

Ep 1 was decent with likeable characters, but I am interested in knowing more about the model. I will continue watching it since it gives off a "holiday-movies" vibes without any heavy stuff, but I have got to admit that I was teeny bit scared that a murder would take place when the lights went out in the middle of a fashion show😅😅 Guess my brain is traumatized from watching too many K-rom-coms with mystery incorporated in them.

After the 1st episode I was positive, this show will be true to its title, but I think I judged it too soon because the central romance was terrible and Chae Soo Bin's and Min Ho's character were frustrating regardless of their relationship. Ugggh!

How can a PR agent be this worst at her job and still continue to pride in her work ethics and dazzle at every moment through mere luck, coincidence and tremendous help from her boyfriend who acts more like her butler. I do not even want to get started on the last minute disco party that won Audrey the PR rights 🙄🙄🙄 Sheesh! It is a "damsel in distress" trope but with a twist of her getting the credit for the work done by her bf.

More than Min Ho's acting his smile kept irking me to no ends. As sweet as it was for Woo Min to win Ji Eun back with an photo exhibit, couldn't he have tried it with his album collection way before when she decided to break up? None of the cliches work because their timing is absolutely off and does not connect with the characters.

What was even the point of the character Do Young? Initially he was funny but soon it got old and added nothing to the story. I enjoyed Joseph's character until Theirry Henry showed up and stole the thunder from him. Esther and Joseph's mother continued to be likeable and ended up as my favorities.

Even though Seo Hye Won's stint was very short, this "I hav no chingu" girl outshined every single main character in the drama. Model Seon Ho's character had so much opportunity to be fleshed out, but the drama just skimmed the surface and wrapped up her arc.

To sum up, the biggest plus of the drama is its ability to stay in a single genre i.e., fashion and be pretty on the eye. Ratings: Recommended for a watch only when you are in a Kdrama drought of light-hearted dramas.

I waited so long for this and I am happy to report it has delivered the drama I was expecting. There were NO ridiculous genres mixed in; instead it was The Fab Four supporting each other throughout. We saw the issues that arise in each of their fields and met some interesting characters along the way. It didn’t have any deep messages but we saw the realities of adult dating, long term friendships and people who worked hard and played hard. It also serves as an example that dramas can be slice of life without adding tragedy and petty jealousies.

I think it is a great drama for this time of year.

I have watched 2 episodes and am glad the entire genre won't change half-way through.

Thanks for the reassurance! I will probably stick with it, then. After 2.5 episodes I'm finding the fashion setting more fun and funny than I expected, and I enjoy the interactions and especially the bitchy sniping, but I'm having a hard time warming up to Chae Soo-bin's character. So far she's a candidate for the "Why Are You Still Employed?" Award. But she looks great, I love the wardrobe, and Minho is charming. It's enough to keep going for a fun, light watch.

Chae Soo Bin had nothing special about her character or had any growth and was a flatline throughout the story. Such a waste of talent due to terrible writing.

I agree, this ended up being a disappointing waste of both cast and material. Looks aren't enough - even in fashion. 😒

I'm watching episode 4 now and is still struggling to find Joseph interesting. Maybe because I expected a flamboyant, colourful and funny character. I like the story though.

5 episodes in, and my favorites are Joseph’s mom and assistant Esther.

Refering Joseph: I was pretty sure ‘bosh’ is a non-existent word but i guess Netflix is smarter than me!

I found this drama pretty superficial : the characters, their evolution, their job's picture, the love story... The acting wasn't the best. But it was entertaining.

For me it was one of the most unbecoming shows, as Netflix Originals often are.

Selling promiscuity as glamorous and trendy managed to make me dislike CSB (and she was one of my favorite actresses).

These kind of shows are the reason why I gave up western shows. Dropped out with no regrets after 30 minutes. What they sell to us as feminism is nothing but the degradation of women.

This is a Trashy and Not Fabulous Show, and every single character relationship, but especially the romantic ones, is written by someone with a very strange (that’s a euphemism) understanding of relationships. At least once, at some point in time, throughout this show, almost every single character exhibits themselves to be a shitty person, and any change otherwise, is extremely unconvincing because the character writing, what little of it actually exists, is all over the place, and weaker than my mother's tea.

Chae Soo Bin, hunny, you were trying so hard, and you made your character watchable at least, but I have little else to say, because in the hands of many other people, she would've been as annoying as just about everybody else in this show.

Minho has like two facial expressions and his mainstream attraction and appeal was not enough to endear him to me over this, because he's not my type, or style, of handsome, at all. (I'm sure he's lovely in person but ...)

Every character they tried to endear to me otherwise, instead grated on my nerves so much I wanted to shed my skin like a lizard.
Every time they could've criticised consumerism, the fashion industry or influencer marketing (Seo Hye Won is a wonderful actress, which is well demonstrated by the fact that she did an excellent job embodying everything I hate about Instagram), and indeed, should’ve, they instead would switch to glamorising it in some way, or throwing in yet another EDM party droning that looked neither fun, nor interesting, nor appealing, in any way at all.

Their attempts at trying to have any kind of central theme or anything decent fuelling the whole affair were shallow or cheap, and poorly written, at best, and had quite the negative effect to what I think they intended, at worst.
I think the only characters I didn't consistently hate, where Esther and The Editor Lady, Ms. Ahn.

All I can say is, I'm very thankful they got an *actual* supermodel to play the supermodel, because nobody else could've pulled off those walks, or those clothes, and that there wasn't a single mention of Tik Tok (because I probably would've turned it off immediately if there were.)

A vacant and vapid drama.

I slowly started disliking Ms.Ahn too. She was too whiny for a head and did not have any smarts🙄🙄

Are we talking about the same person? I'm a bit confused.
I mean the Editor in Chief, the one everyone idolised the entire show, CSB's role model, Ahn Nam Hee. She never came across to me as whiny, or unsmart; I didn't LOVE her either, but she wasn't gratingly annoying in the same way as everyone else.
The person you're talking about sounds more like CSB's boss lady, of the marketing agency, who definitely annoyed me, and from minute one too. CEO Oh.

You are right! I mixed up the people. Ahn Nam Hee character did nothing much for me, which must be a good sign because others were annoying.

I enjoy kdramas but this one, less than others. I didn't find any of the couples really engaging. Some crazy over-the-top acting. Maybe it was the genre - fashion industry but the creative ones seemed like caricatures. The only people I enjoyed when they were on scene were Esther and Seon-ho. Ji-seon was pretty good as a professional suck-up. I'm thinking hard here but can't think of one of the men that I liked.

In fact, I even disliked Do-Young. Very annoying and he definitely will drag his girlfriend down if she keeps hanging with him. His black and white leather jacket was kind of interesting.

I have a list of kdramas I will see a second time and this one did not make the cut.
