This drama has some funny scenes between the main leads, however this is overshadowed by the darkness of the palace politics so for me it was the imbalance that took away the joy of watching the drama.

An enjoyable fusion sageuk with lots of comedy, an intelligent and fun female lead, a king who learns to be a good leader, and lots of enjoyable side characters. It gets a bit dark in the middle but has a very happy, satisfying ending. Highly recommend.

It was fun at first, but then then it gotten a bit dark at times, I did wish it can get a bit darker, but I guess it wont be a rom com sageuk.

I am fine with the plot. The palace politics are not heavy but I am just not sold on the main leads love story ( maybe I am too hang up on the SL) . Found myself skipping their scenes. But I love all the side characters stories and romance. They are fun and sweeter even.

I found this drama enjoyable from the beginning to the end...especially how Kim-young dea fitted perfectly into his role and the female lead cast too...they exhibited excellence in the drama
