I am looking to identify a K-drama that I watched a few years ago. All I remember is that there were a few scenes where the female lead, with blood on her thumb, caressed the male lead’s face. The blood somehow turned into a teardrop birthmark on his face in his next reincarnation. I think the scenes were repeated a few times throughout the drama, as it was a reincarnation story. I think it was released within the past five years or so. Is there anyone who might know what drama I’m talking about?
Thanks for playing, everyone — till next time!

I think the scene is from a Chinese fantasy drama named Love and Redemption. I didn’t watch it, but I know the general premise through some clips. Mild spoiler: each of the leads’ past lives ended in tragedy, so the female lead would mark the male lead’s face so that she’d remember him in their following reincarnation. I believe they weren’t to meet because the leads were a demon (technically she was a deity fashioned from the demon's body) and a deity manipulated by a conniving god (I think he was the Writer of the Fates) to serve his agenda to benefit the Heavens. If you want to watch this, you’re in for a long ride because this drama has 59 episodes (but this is pretty average for a Chinese drama because it can have up to 100 episodes when divided into 2 parts).
