Oh Yujin possessing that flash drive and I knew she would be the one to be murdered.

Of all the moms playing their what-have-you backstabbing at each other, it was Yujin I couldn't just resonate with the most. She's good though. She even had me questioning the scene I just watched like I was the one seeing something else.
And then, I was expecting Na-young to be the mom wielding all the powerful influence on the moms but it turned out to be Yujin. I guess I thought so cause it's Jin Seo-yeon playing Na-young.

Someone is going to step into Yujin's shadows and I know Mi-ho is coming for all of 'em moms. I trust none of them, not even So-won-omma.

One thing. I hope we won't have to spend a lot of time with Mi-ho hanging her head down in defeat. I need that head held up high as soon as possible.

Yes to Sky Castle. It wasn't just me feeling the SC vibe from a mile away.

Yeah. Overbearing rich moms and their children is straight outta the SC playbook.

Btw, is it just me who thinks Yujin favors the peanut allergy daughter over the other?

This is so confusing. It makes parenting of primary school students looked so hard. They are just kids. Kids just want to play 😅 and the housewives need something else to do to occupy them *scratchheads*

Week 2, and I'm still nowhere close to understanding what's going on in this drama. Everything is just happening so fast. Whew!

But at least, I'm enjoying the scenes with the kids and their "real auntie."

If anyone tells you there's no such as toxic femininity, show them a few episodes of this. I'm not saying that only women are full of this type of scheming/back stabbing/gossiping negative energy, but simply that some women can be just as toxic as any men: morally bankrupt, corrupt, power-hungry, and cruel--in other words, what used to be simply called sinful.

As far as a critique of the show, I think it's doing a good job of showing what kind of toxicity this type of social circle can breed (though it does seem rather exaggerated at times). I'm not sure if it can withstand scrutiny when it comes to why/how these women have become so toxic, but I can accept/enjoy the show for what it is, so that the fall of the villain(s) is that much more delicious.
