Spoiler : Thoughts on Episodes 32 and 33

And we’ve reached the tipping point. The part where all hell breaks loose and we try to understand this OTP conflict from their own perspective.

Bing Bing’s worst fear has come true. Just like that their relationship had ended 💔 I wish she had fought for their relationship harder because she agreed to call this quits way too fast. I understand the break up happened in the heat of the moment. They were both angry at each other, Bing Bing caught her lie through her teeth and Master Tang frustrated that there was not enough trust in their relationship.

With Master Tang’s personality, I can see why she would easily agree to break up. She’s temperamental. But Bing Bing has run out his patience too. It didn’t help he is completely misunderstanding things because he is being kept out of the loop! We’re seeing two sides of the coin here and it’s….. a very hard watch.

Master Tang has a heart of a gold. We love her for it. She is the defender of the weak and she cannot stand seeing anyone at a disadvantage, so it makes perfectly sense that she would want to do all means to protect Little Lamb, help him get out of misery. Because during the times she needed help, Little Lamb was with her too in those moments.

She is also a woman of words. Once she promises something, she keeps her words. But then what about what she did to Bing Bing? She, too, keeps promising him that she would make it up to him, but she failed and disappointed him over and over again. I think she took their relationship for granted. But then again, she had asked him to wait for her and trust her. But relationships are built with trust and communication.

I understand that she’s disappointed that Bing Bing didn’t trust her enough. Back in Episode 32 when he asked what was on her mind and she had brought it up to him, although he was grumpy about it, he did agree on checking up on Little Lamb. There is nothing communication cannot fix.

Onto the lying part – Master Tang has learned her lesson that not everything is black and white. That she has caught herself in this very situation where she too had to lie (It happened twice in her life – lie to her parents and to Bing Bing!), but this time around it was because it wasn’t her secret to tell.

That screenshot above when she replied back to her girlfriends asking them what was wrong with keeping a little secret? I was like! Hah! Now you’re in the grey area! You’re seeing it yourself that it’s not always easy to tell the truth.

But again! Master Tang – she has a heart of a gold. We’ve seen her forgive and forget Bing Bing’s lies too easily. She was not too hard press on him whenever she found out his lies to her. Now that she was in this situation, she had hopes Bing Bing to trust her more (like she did to him!). That he needed to trust her that there was more to the picture he’s seeing past those “little” lies.

Well, they are young. They will make mistakes over again. There will be nasty and petty fights. But looking forward to see the fight through all this. At the very moment, I do wish it is Master Tang who has to work really hard to get this communication thing going. I think it would be great to see her grovel this time around to win him. He had been doing this grovelling thing for a long time now. I want Master Tang to do the chasing this time! 😬😬
