Ancient Detective E01 -E04:
This c-drama is currently airing on Viki in my region.
What I found interesting about it is gender role reversal.
The FML (I think she is FML since she is the only significant female character):
– She is trained assassin, a martial art expert and on the run from her organization
– Her weapon of choice is a parasol. (I know it’s impractical but it looks beautiful and sounds cool)
The ML
– He is detective as name suggested, suffering from amnesia.
– Unlike most of other Chinese Wuxia drama, he does not know any martial arts
– He is damsel in distress who heads into situation where he needs to be protected. His main protector is FML.
– White lotus halo – Everyone falls for him. All characters become his immediate friends within one meeting and protect him.
