I don’t know what’s gotten into me but I just belatedly started Cheese in the Trap.

Without prior knowledge what it’s all about…
WHY did I watch it? WHY did I hold on until the end? WHAT did I expect?
Now that I finished watching, what can I do? ONLY laugh AT myself. That’s it.

For the first time, I’m thankful the skip button exists in this world.

I loved CITT until the finale which was a huge disappointment.

In retrospect, I enjoyed watching some parts of the show (mostly the comedic portions). But none of that really matters with the ending like that. At the end of the day, NONE has changed, NONE has learned anything, NONE of them are healthy in the mental department.

Yeah, my main gripe about this is on the on-set you’re really excited – these are really flawed characters, Jung especially. So of course, what you’d expect would be major character development. That’s what made me glued to my screen at 12am in the morning (waiting for subs, sometimes even without) during the live broadcast. That’s why the last quarter of the show is so disappointing – they give you bits of it, but not fully realized. Like you’re there, but didn’t push all the way which is just sad.

Same. I used to wake up very early to watch it. The subs were released at 4am (Japan time) so my dedication for that show was no joke.

Thanks, you guys, for joining in this post….but…..

GOSH! This drama is that long ago?
With Netflix and other online platforms, nowadays, we can even watch the same day as live broadcast, WITH OFFICIAL SUBS. How far has the world come? ^^

WELL. In the first quarter of 2016, (in my country at least) Netflix is unheard of and not yet available (either way, they don’t have current dramas yet) and Viu (SEA version of Viki and Kocowa) is only just starting. I started using Viu when Moonlight Drawn by the Clouds came out later that year. 🤷‍♀️

    Okay
…So, apparently, there was some kind of turmoils going on behind the production of the drama and that’s probably the reason why it was in a downward spiral halfway through and finally crumbled at the end.

Now that I got the answer, I’m at ease. Life is just like that.
