It’s the same as what’s happening to the whole of the East Asian community— doesn’t matter if you’re Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, ACTUALLY Chinese… it’s all the same to people. On the political side of things, the same thing— people will say ‘the Chinese’ when talking about case numbers and how ‘the Chinese’ tried to hide the true numbers, but really, it’s the Chinese GOVERNMENT choice that has nothing to do with its citizens, but it paints a picture and then EVERYONE gets hurt
This saddens me. Always an individual and a whole collective is judged. And the ones that judge would never look at themselves just in case they’ve done something wrong. Blaming others it’s always the easiest part.
