Oh My Baby Ep.1-4

Just binged all 4 episodes because of the void Hospital Playlist left in my heart is getting bigger and bigger as the finale approaches. In an urgent need of filling the gap with something equally warm and fun.

While I can’t relate to how Ha-Ri feels, I get where she comes from. Her desperation, though at times feels pitiful, is understandable. When she burst out to her mom that she’ll be growing old and dying alone, I want to go in and give her a pat in the back.

But life is just like that. We come into this world ALONE and will eventually leave ALONE. There is no guarantee of a company even if you are married or have tons of children. Everyone has their own life. At some point, you have to be ALONE anyway. Separation is inevitable. Your partner might leave you first, by death, divorce, etc. Your children too. Loving and living your life just for yourself should be the best strategy.

Anyway, I don’t think all hope is lost for her. Yi-Sang is DEFINITELY interested. He might be a bit of an a** when they first met (But she creeps me out too, came off a liiiiiiittle lunatic at that time.)
But if a man is not attracted to a woman, he might give her a ride but will certainly not wait just to give more ride to her next destination (plus a lot of things he did in her regard, eavesdropping her blind date convo, getting her an umbrella, helping her with the photoshoot, attending her cousin’s wedding, etc.). He even enjoys doing all that.

Now that, by the end of only episode 4, he seems to realize his feelings for her.

I’m curious about what kind of bumps and tears these two have to go through to reach their happy ending in episode 16.

Same here – in need of something for the HP void and OMB thankfully fills it.

The bumps ahead for ISang and Hari would have to be HR not realising her happiness is just around the corner, ISang not interested in having his own kids and most worryingly, his Ex, who has created such a huge impact on him and his family. His Ex is played by Kim Jung Hwa – the DaDa in the original 1% of Something – whom I thought was a cameo but just checked she’s in the casting list…..

Ooh… I really hope we wouldn’t have to go down a makjang alley that far.

I don’t mind spending time watching all the three men fall for & try to pursue Ha-Ri while fighting with each other (the more hair-grabbing scenes, the better).
