Finished rewatching Delightful Girl Choon-hyang! The Hong sisters should remake folk tales instead of pitching their own original work. I enjoyed watching the snappy exchange between Mong-ryoung and Choon-hyang and how they matured over the course of the drama. It was nice to see a couple having arguments and finding ways to resolve them. One of my favourite apology scenes was on the bridge after Mong-ryong has mislead the parents in law to think Choon-hyang was pregnant. The dates when preparing for the second wedding ceremony, the scenes with the parents in law. The endless running scenes!
A few things that bothered me that we didn’t get a proper explanation to where Choon-hyang’s mother had disappeared to. I also wanted choon-hyang to go back and study or at least accept the father’s decision of paying for her tuition in the early episodes.
I still think Hak-do should have been arrested for framing Mong-ryong or blackmailing Choon-hyang. It wasn’t fair to let him off after he caused so much pain and destroyed the father in law’s career, choon-hyang’s chance of happiness.
Chae-ri knew about the doctored video tape so she should have told Mong-ryong the truth once she was back from the states. The only way I see redemption for her is if she actually invests in choon-hyang’s business in the future.
Aww I’m always glad to see this drama get love!! 😍
This is definitely in my list of top ten best.
It is very true though I always wondered about her mom. Like did something happened in the background of the drama we don’t know about?. Cause there was no explanation for the complete disappearance from the drama.
And I love this song to pieces!!

One of my favorite nostalgic dramas!! Spunky Chunhyang is my favorite and I love their bickering. Izi’s Emergency Room and Jiny’s Come Free are one of the best OSTs out there
Omg this drama was so entertaining. I loved seeing Mong Ryong grow up as a person and learn to be considerate and caring. I hated that they let Hak Do off so easy.

We need to see the actors who played Chae-young and Mong-ryong reunite in another romance drama.
