Watching dramas is the matter of preferences. I sincerely don’t understand why we need to even want to try to convince others of our own opinion. *Skimming through the comment section of The King*
There are so many comments and most of them politely discuss what they like or dislike about any episode, sometimes sharing theories. This isn’t trying to convince others.
Most of the time it’s unregistered users who get really offended when they don’t like our polite discussions…. I usually just skip them but it was getting on my nerves so I had to say something under the first comment. The whole thread is all very proper and decent. *sips tea*
@lixie@wishfultoki I know that Beanies are generally very acceptance of others’ opinions, but I can’t say that it doesn’t sometimes irritates me to see some comments (I just realized that most of them came from unregistered users) that get so personally offended. Hrrr.. I guess I’ll just have to skip those. 🙂
This was just my frustration yesterday. Generally, I really like it here.
I don’t get it when people say there’s a lot of hate for LMH and KES on DB when i mostly see mixed reactions? I myself have poked some fun at the show while also admitting that I do enjoy it for the most parts – by choosing to put the head scratching moments aside. Anyway when you put a star writer and actor together, expectations will be sky high and it’s bound to attract a lot of attention good or bad.
I haven’t been reading the comments (I’m still only on episode three) but I feel like if someone really likes or dislikes a thing you’re not going to persuade them otherwise, no matter how beautifully written your argument is. I like it when things I’ve missed or misinterpreted come through in the comments.

Btw, dropped the Mystic Pop-up Bar after about 10 minutes. Not to my liking, or it’s just not the right one at the moment.

I can’t agree with you more @beffels.
