Romance (2002), Episode 1: Right off the bat, the show draws parallels between Chae-won and Kwan-woo to tell us they’re kindred spirits despite their age difference. They don’t fit nicely where they’re supposed to -– Kwan-woo’s not a very diligent student, and Chae-won’s not a very passionate teacher. They’re drawn to music. We’re supposed to see them as equals.
I remember having to dig to find it and my final opinion was that everyone involved was so ashamed of the horribleness of that drama that they all came together to hide it. Not to influence your opinion or anything
As long as you know the drama isnt bad because its old. Im sure it was bad when it first came out as well. Its not a so bad its good bad. Its just bad bad. In my opinion. Im sure….there are peopleout there….who like it…for some reason….

We’ll see. I’m at episode two, and I’m already seriously annoyed at the plot. Why can’t a romcom just be a romcom??
