I’ve just about had it with No Eul. Jae Hyuk is off the rails and needs professional help asap. I don’t like him one bit nor sympathize with him. His mental illness is no excuse for how he’s treating and manipulating Do Hee.

But No Eul. GOSH Jin No Eul…she makes my blood boil. Girl, don’t you have something better to do. Find yourself a new hobby, adopt a pet, grow a garden idk but get a life. *eye roll* Thank goodness HK (and DH) are having none of it and sticking together.

You know I have nothing against idols going into acting IF they have the talent for it. Take Junho, for example. He started off in secondary roles and worked his way up. You can see his passion for it too with how he expresses himself regarding the craft. And here we are in 2020 and I’m still not over his Kang Do in JBL. Some people either just have an innate talent or learn the craft through arduous work.

But idols who have no acting chops whatsoever just rub me the wrong way. They not only take away opportunities for other actors but they also take away from the drama/movie.

Lee Ji Hoon’s character is horrible but I enjoy watching how he brings Jae Hyuk to life. The nuances he portrays him with. But an annoying Na Eul + lacking skills in the acting department are not a good combination.

I have nothing against Naeun. Really, I don’t. I’m not an APink fan but I’ve always thought of them as a respectable senior group. But acting is just not for her. Maybe smaller roles where she’s not sulking might fit her better? She seems a teeeeensy tad better in the flashbacks with HK where she’s smiling. I don’t know. Look, I wish her the best but sometimes you just gotta stick with what you’re good at.

Totally agree with you, and you’ve made the perfect example with Junho.
But this woman can’t act. I mean, I don’t even find her pretty (and she is!!) because she’s so bland, expressionless and bad actress…

We should also blame the people who cast them. I want to believe Na Eun works hard too, but maybe there’s just a ceiling she can’t break through, and directors shouldn’t cast her (or other idols like her) until she proves herself more.

Very true. Or maybe her company is the one pushing her to do it? Smaller roles would definitely help though, less lines to memorize so it would allow newbie actors/actresses more time to perfect their craft.
