Thing is, neither of them look like they actually want to be “friends” for life.

She saying all the time that she will be the best friend ever, making it too obvious there is something more inside her.
But then the conversation between SeoYoong and ChanHyeok where he says he “liked EunHee because she didn’t know about how his parents were” implying that he may have liked her, but now he’s over her.
And CH feeling like a school boy around EunJoo.
    And then the preview…
And then, this is my brain 🤯 🤯 🤯 🤯
I really don’t know what to think!!
I have to say that for once in dramaland I’d love them to remain friends, but I’ll accept anywhere this wonderful drama takes me to.

I just want them to be together already!!! I took Chan Hyuk’s comment to mean he used to like her, and he was able to put away his feelings but then her being back in his life and her “pushing” him towards Eun Joo got him feeling some type of way which is why he needed some distance to make sure those feelings don’t resurface or become unmanageable.

Also random but I didn’t appreciate Hara’s comment to VP Im (forgot his name lol) about how he shoulda cheated on her with someone better than Eun Hee. Ugh. And just cause she’s mad at him for what he did 3 years ago, why does she need to involve Eun Hee?! There relationship is definitely messy, but in my opinion, it’s over when one party says it’s over. Assuming we can trust VP Im’s words, what claim she still got?!

From what I understood, three years ago she wanted to break up, but they didn’t because of him. We don’t know what happened, but I’m going to assume he cheated on her because she accused him of that.
Now, they’ve really broken up, because they both have said so, but she’s sticks around just to annoy him. I guess she doesn’t like him living his live without her. She should love herself better. If a man cheats on you and treats you the way he’s treating her, she should just forget about him.
And she involves EunHee because that’s something that always happens in dramas and in movies and all kind of TV shows: women can not get over their boyfriends and instead of blaming the cheating boyfriend blame the other woman who “stole” him. He’s not been stolen, she’s lost him long ago.

Ooo! My understanding was that she wanted to break up 3 years ago (and not sure if it’s because she wanted to be with someone else) and he begged for them to work it out and that’s why she’s mad now and asking if this is his payback for what she did to him last time. But maybe I understood the translation wrong?

We are saying more or less the same thing. I just assumed the cause of the break up was because he cheated on her but he was sorry and begged her to go on.

I understood as @myriver did n thought she might’ve cheated too..hehe.. but really girl shud just let go if it makes her so miserable. But then misery loves company right?

That conversation about taking care of Eonni and taking a break, i really feel like smacking their heads together but especially Eun Hee. There must be a reason for her holding back but i still really wanna whack her head..CH probably held back from ever confessing thanks to her strong friendzone game.

Seriously!! She better have a more compelling reason than “she didn’t want to risk losing her best friend” for friend zoning him so hard. And while she may have liked and been attracted to VP Im in the beginning, I feel like she’s convincing herself to develop further with him to avoid “complications” with Chan Hyuk!
