I thought rewatching MLFAS would take my mind away from the IOTNBO ep4’s issues which restarted my issues, but I was wrong MLFAS didn’t do much. Then suddenly I found myself rewatching Hannibal season 1. Hannibal is yet to be beaten by any US production regarding the crime genre.

Hannibal was a work of Art…Bryan Fuller was great in making it a standalone series without getting Clarice….I hate MGM….if they only gave the rights to him and NBC

I’m actually glad NBC couldn’t get the rights. I’m relived that it ended at season 3. It couldn have been just one season and I wouldn’t have minded much. Every aspect of Hannibal was perfected

I really wanted to see Bryan Fuller make his version of Silence of The Lamb…I followed him dince Pushing Daisies and Wonderfalls…IONTBO gives me a bit of Pushing Daisies vibe to be honest

I honestly believe that the show kind of fell apart after season two. Characters behaved in ways that made little sense.

Yes and yes! Especially after S3E3 it seemed a tamed and confused version of the series I have been watching until then. Even the killers in the first season had more background story, perception and psychoanalysis than the red dragon who had almost the entire S3 with little light on his story. I know the cancellation must have been a factor for such weird turn of narration. But one thing I would give credit for is the continuation of the cinematic and dramatic value until the last episode. And now that I am rewatching, I am considering whether S3 seemed incoherent compared to the previous ones because the ringmaster was just watching from distant. All the chaos in Will’s world happened in S1+2 cause he wanted to know who he was, he came to know what he was and Hannibal finally saw a possible companion in Will. But when Will had enough understanding of himself and refused to be a ‘friend’ of Hannibal things calmed down to something that seemed boring to us.
