Lots of unregistered users popping up either to spread hate or misinformation or pick a fight….DB please moderate the comments

    This isn’t about the comments on IONTB is it? Because those are mostly nice and interesting.

      They were particularly strong and virulent in the recap of the first Backstreet Rookie. Wow- most of them were unregistered and the comments got so personal so I just stopped reading.

    There is this one unregistered user in IONTBO episode 4 recap I find really weird..

    Is it ‘normal’ to get these type of comments here?

      I feel like whenever there’s a really popular drama, we see a surge in these comments. Usually, most registered Beans are very nice and respect each other’s opinions.

        That is true! I haven’t been active in here in a while and have not noticed that before. DB must be getting more popular these days.

          Yea! I haven’t come across that many sites that offer detailed recaps like DB, and I’m sure that’s the draw. I usually avoid the popular drama’s comments section bc I don’t wanna inadvertently join in on a mean-spirited argument. So I tend to share my thoughts here on the fan wall. IOTNBO is the exception for most of the comments are so interesting and nice, but there are a few oddballs that make me go “huh”?

      If it’s the user I’m thinking about I don’t think it’s weird. She likes the actors but not the drama itself and for some reasons wants to post about it but as long as it’s polite why would it bother anyone?

          Anyway I think the bots on fanwall are something they should try to moderate. The unregistered comments seem quite innocent unless it’s about some recap I haven’t visited. 😛

            There have been some particularly unpleasant ones…..also they need a report spam option here…..bots too.
