I’m watching the first ep of Memorials and Nana’s got that Hong Seol hair going on.
You know, I always find it curious that there are so many idols out there who, while captivating on-stage, can never seem to translate their charisma as a performer into their acting. This is my first time seeing Nana act (but I’ve always LOVED her as an After School member) and I definitely think she’s an exception. This role is full of her cracktastic Orange Caramel-like energy. I hope she’s having as much of a blast as it looks like she is! The directing is also complementing her SO well with such on-point editing.
I feel like there are lots of roles lately where the female leads have the chance to just go all-out and I love it.
Also, kdramas seriously just keep getting prettier and prettier as the years go by! Recently so many of them have been truly cinematic.
I first saw her in Roommate (variety/reality show) back in 2014. I didn’t realize that she was good until I watch movie The Swindlers. It’s so good to see her improve and play different roles 😊
She was also good in the Good Wife. Maybe I was already so biased when I watched the show because I was blinded by her beauty. She’s doing really good here too.
Kill It was a mess but she and JKY were just so pretty in it that I had to just tune in. (Another underrated idol actress that I think is able to generate a lot of charisma onscreen is Dasom of Sistar.)

This is my first time watching her, and I really like her.
It’s getting harder for me to watch older k-dramas given how cinematic newer ones are.
