Among all the worldwide available and used social media sites, youtube is the most toxic. Because just like in korean sites, peoppe can hide behind anonymity. I actually do get the disappointment of people because IOTNBO was packed with so much in the first 2 episodes but they skipped it because they were having a casual discussion which was a format on DB and not on Youtube where Youtube reactions are filled with information and are basically reviews in form of reactions. So it’s more like DB audience knows and understands their way of doing this but the Youtube one doesn’t and they can be as harsh as they like because there’s nor there’s a name, neither any sort of control or regulation like DB either.
Reaction channels have been so rampant on youtube and tbh, there’s not much to them and sound fake just to get viewers. You are right. They have no idea how Jen and Sarah do things. I just wish they can do podcasts here and I miss their recaps so much. 🙁

So excited to see javabeans and girlfriday reacted to Psycho episodes but wow, youtube people are so toxic. Can’t we just get drunk podcasts here?

It’s how I understand why many Korean news and SNS outlets/platforms choose to close the comment sections of their websites
