Ahhhh, I just finished Tale of Nokdu and can I just say that I’m so glad there was a happy ending? I’m very content with how it ended and probably couldn’t have thought of a better ending. The characters were their own with intricate backstories, motives, and flaws that made them more human and made the show so much more enjoyable to watch❤️ I will say that the last episode made me realize how single I am LOL but I loved every second! Now onto the next show! I’m thinking about starting another sageuk? Or, one that’s currently airing? Any recs?
I liked it very much. It’s been my first and only one sageuk (I have Tale of Nokdu on hold), because I fear too much angst, but TCC was suitable to my weak heart 😅
Yesssss!!! I was so surprised too because with a title like “The Tale of Nokdu”, a sad ending seemed inevitable. Safe to say, pleasantly surprised 🙂 But, you should definitely watch it! It’s worth it, JDY and KSH are soo precious.
