Summer Vacation ep01
deciced to try the first ep of Na PD show that took over after 3MAD ended
I thought Choi WooShik was younger than me, seeing how clumsy he was as a young adult,
turns out he’s a few years older ^^’
Sharing this little scene that made laugh a lot 😂😂😂
I think it captures the atmosphere of the show quite well :
having a rest and fun doing simple things with friends
I liked the ep, it’d be fun to watch them during the summer 🙂
Don’t know what comes next but I’ll see it as a slice-of-life variety show following 2 young adults during their vacations where they have no real tight schedule to follow.
Expecting some awkward moments, some silent moments, some funny parts, nothing groundbreaking, just a slow pace show that I’ll watch weekly 🙂
Haven’t been watching anything at all.. I don’t even have the time now but if you have something feel-good to suggest that I could watch to wind up my day that would be great 😁

Like you wrote on another post , kinda suspected you’re all over the place and it’s difficult to keep track with shows.
If you want to follow a show with several eps , as background show when in need,
I think a slow pace / cozy / heartwarming variety show could do the job : recommending “Korean Hostel in Spain” or “Hyori homestay”
But since you don’t have that much time (or attention span which is totally understandable), I think watching some movies from time to time could do the job.
I’d just recommend some Japanese animation movies and in particular Ghibli studio ones
(below : ng = not Ghibli , lol)
(check the synopsis before watching the movie, there’s some diversity below ^^’)
(some of them are on netflix, or if you have a local library (mine has some of them), or not so legal sites like for dramas 😆)
in no particular order
◾️ Kimi no na wa (Your name) (ng , really it’s romantic and so so nice, one of the most famous these past years)
◾️ The Cat Returns (you’ll love a cat wearing a suit, trust me)
◾️ The Secret World of Arrietty (they’re so little, their house is cute, story can be tiny bit sad but happy overall)
◾️ Howl’s Moving Castle (so much love, I still don’t get some things in the curse but I love it nonetheless)
◾️ Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea (a movie for kid, but sometimes it’s just what we need)
◾️ Princess Mononoke (serious stuff like war in Middle age background, I describe it so poorly, a classic Ghibli <3)
◾️ My Neighbour Totoro (like the most classic one , I hum the song out of nowhere when I'm happy)
◾️ Spirited Away (a magical escape)
◾️ Summer Wars (ng, fun to watch, suits the current summer with its title haha)
◾️ Wolf Children (ng, will make you cry a little , but it has a "happy" ending)
◾️ Nausicaä: Valley of the Wind (environmentally friendly movie from 1980s ahead of time, really interesting to see how they try to show how Nature could heal our mistakes)
◾️ Castle in the Sky (the lost Atlantis isn't under the sea but in the sky, a nice watch)
◾️ The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (ng, travel in time movie, nicely done and funny)
◾️ Kiki's Delivery Service (for kids, totally enjoyable for adults too )
◾️ Porco Rosso (a personal fav' , I love the main lead humor and the overall atmosphere of the movie like a jazzy night)
◾️ Whisper of the Heart (there's a violon maker, so music is part of the main theme)
if you really don't have time, just let this wonderful gorgeous video play in the background
it was made for the 25 years of Ghili studio , Ghibli OSTs are a treat 💝 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eY1XtWyKlJA
(and if you can't decide what to watch you can just check my dramalist to waste time on internet other than on youtube 😋 https://mydramalist.com/dramalist/KudoRan )
Some of the movies on the list I’ve already watched and enjoyed so very much (Howl’s Moving Castle is one of my all time favorites).. since I’m still not being able to sleep much maybe I’ll go through one a movie a night then 😂 Heard so much but Your Name, maybe I should start with that!
actually it’s been a long time I haven’t watched a new J-animation movie.
I watched Your Name (2 years after its release ^^’) and loved it 😀 , heard about it because of the hype .
