So.. wedding preparations are underway, I’m a lot more relaxed now than I was the first two days after the date was set. I mean, I’m really good at freaking out but you know what else I’m really good at? Making lists, yes! So, I’ve made a list of all the things that need to be done and I’ve assigned everyone with something on that list and we’re slowly checking all of those. My mom wants to be incharge of everything food related so she’s got that and SNG’s mom is a pastry chef (Pâtissière she says and I absolutely love the way she says it) and she said she’d make us our wedding cake (she also made us our engagement cake but that was mostly devoured by his dad and mine so I hope I get to taste this one).
As for the wedding dress.. hehe.. I was honestly not planning to wear a white wedding dress, I was thinking of wearing a traditional dress of our own but when I told SNG he went: “You’re not going to wear a white dress?” I said no and he looked so hurt at that (I’m not exaggerating when I say he looked like I just crushed his heart by telling him I was not going to marry him anymore). I wasn’t expecting that kind of a reaction so I asked him if he was sad, he said no and laughed but YOU DON’T LAUGH AT ME WITH THOSE SAD EYES!!! So yeah, now I am going to wear a white dress (which I still need to find) but he doesn’t know and I’m just going to surprise him with it ☺
Also, the venue.. I wanted a beach wedding but with the current situation we have most of our beaches locked and the private beaches we asked said they’re not allowed to hold any sorts of events no matter how small of a group of people it is. I know I shouldn’t have expected anything or had my hopes high, but I admit, my heart still broke a tiny bit.
After getting another rejection today, we were sitting in the car and sulking (Okay, I was sulking and he was just watching me sulk) and he asked me if I was alright, I told him I was but maybe I should’ve tried saying that without crying (I lied okay, it wasn’t a tiny heartbreak!). He told me not to cry and I told him I wasn’t crying (I don’t know why I always do that) but okay confession: I never thought I’ll ever get married, I never wanted to actually, it was just never a priority in my life, I couldn’t imagine being with someone, really, just the idea of it weirded me out (You could tell I guess from all those stories I told you 😅), but then.. SNG happened and things changed and beach is were A LOT of our “firsts” happened (He confessed at the beach 😭) and I just really wanted our wedding to be at the beach 💔
So I was saying all this to him and I was complaining about how unfair this is and how sad I am but he just kept looking at me and smiling (Yes), so I asked him what is it and WHY IS HE SMILING? And he just went: “I’m realizing this for the first time.. you have really cute teeth!” (HUH? WH.. WHAAAAT?!). Beanies, I’m really not kidding, I actually had to take a minute to calm myself down before punching him, and he laughed, HE LAUGHED! Seriously, I was pouring my heart out there and he was doing what, STARING AT MY TEETH! I told him he is a freak and he laughed even more and then went: “Yes, I’m your pervert and I’m your freak!” And, OH MY GOD, WHO SAYS THAT? I didn’t even know he was holding that “pervert” comment against me, it killed me, I couldn’t stop laughing at that, I still can’t stop laughing at that! (Also, I’m not sure I should be happy about this but he said “your” ☺).
P.S. All the usual wedding halls and venues are closed, we have to get creative here and we only have 8 WEEKS LEFT!
P.P.S. He called me to tell me that he got a bruise on his shoulder and I thanked him for still wanting to marry me 😭

That is really disappointing about the beach. The papers here carry so many stories about people who had weddings planned for 200, 300 guests and they had to end up getting married with 3 people in their backyard. They come in a different style (a lot of different styles, actually), and they do come in all colors but the most popular colors are red, green and white/gold!
We do have traditional white bridal dresses, they usually come with gold embroidery and I was thinking of something like that but in our language we call the white dress and the traditional dress two different things.. and he just looked so sad when I said no to the white dress.. now I just have to!
I know he would be happy with whatever you wear.

Good luck with finding a dress and a venue, I was without dress about four weeks before the wedding even with a whole year to plan and no pandemic getting in the way, it’s stressful! ( I ended up making mine 😅 Which I do NOT recommend for a stress free time but you can’t see the safety pins in the photos).
At the end of the day the most important thing to have at your wedding is the right person to get married to, and it sounds like you’ve got that ❤️
I don’t think I can make my own dress, I don’t have that kind of patience and it will drive me crazy.. but yeah excited and also kind of nervous when thinking of finding a dress!
I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for a fun time, I had to safety pin myself into the bodice because i discovered too late I’d made it too low cut😂

He doesn’t really know what site this is, I never told him! When showing him the comments I made sure the site name was hidden. Also most of the comments were sent to him screencapped and cropped to my liking, LOL!
(@kudoran said if he’s ever going to google azzo and sticky-note guy, he’s going to find us but I don’t think he’ll actually do that.. so yes!)

Good luck with finding a dress and a venue, I was without dress about four weeks before the wedding even with a whole year to plan and no pandemic getting in the way, it’s stressful! ( I ended up making mine 😅 Which I do NOT recommend for a stress free time but you can’t see the safety pins in the photos).
At the end of the day the most important thing to have at your wedding is the right person to get married to, and it sounds like you’ve got that ❤️

I don’t think I can make my own dress, I don’t have that kind of patience and it will drive me crazy.. but yeah excited and also kind of nervous when thinking of finding a dress!

I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for a fun time, I had to safety pin myself into the bodice because i discovered too late I’d made it too low cut😂

DB to me has always been this sweet, kind and loving community, I’ve known most of the beanies for years now and I’ve always thought of everyone as one big group of friends. I did have one bad experience earlier this year but I really don’t want that to be what I think of DB now.. It took me a little to write again here and I admit, I hesitated before sharing my story again but seeing how it makes everyone happy, I’m really glad I did!
Thank you so much.. I think it was you who told me last year to keep writing about SNG and I even if I was never going to post on here.. and I took that advice and I never stopped writing since then (three whole notebooks and counting, LOL), I might never share those stories here but I’ll cherish those forever, so thank you, really, and thank you for all the well wishes, it means a lot ❤

Aw, azzo. I came here late, and was super excited to get a notif from you. As usual, your story transfixed me. Gee, I even get mentioned. I am so honoured. What an incredibly swoonworthy and exhilirating experience your love story has been, complete with the gasps, the pounding heart, the pink-faced moments, the tears and the laughs. Thank you for sharing all your giddy moments with us. I am so happy that you are marrying HIM, Mr. SNG, and it is the bright spot of this new, dim reality. 8 weeks will fly by, and in no time at all, you will be embarking on the next adventure of your life with him by your side. We all melt down when they use “uri” in Kdrama , he said “your” , wait for him to say “our” house, and so on ^^ .
