Rewatching ep 11 of Its Ok and I really like the scene where GT and JaeSoo are talking about the fight that GT had with ST and JaeSoo said “it just broke your heart” or something similar. It showed that as much as JaeSoo wants to be family–hes not and as much as GT loves his brother he never treated him like a brother. He treated him like a patient. An outsider or professional care giver holds it in when a patient does or says something inappropriate. A sibling says, “Nah, f that guy” and hits him in the face with a pillow. ST knows that difference, he felt that difference even if he couldn’t express it. Thats why, imo, he was able to embrace being the big brother later in the ep. GT treated him like his brother and not like his patient.
But seriously I want to send this scene where ST is giving GT an allowance to all my older siblings. Like hello! Yall are supposed to be giving me an allowance! Hand it over, punks!
I hope the guy with PTSD from all of the experience of war–I hope it’s just a poor translation where they call him weak. I dont think hes weak at all.
My theory from not having watched ep 13: the pushy head nurse is MYs mom and she killed the woman who killed GTs mom. What am I basing this on? Absolutely nothing. I just dont want our kiddos to try and overcome that particular trial.
I also love how well ST has taken to his big brother role. When he and GT were moving back in and MY ran down the steps to greet them and he corrected her (Dont run youll hurt yourself!). When she met him with Juris mom and he told her to greet Juris mom first because shes older. I love it because while MY is getting the romantic love feom GT that she wanted/needed shes getting basic family love from ST that she didnt know that she needed and she just BASKS in it. When he corrects her she doesnt fight it, just does what he says and moves on. Her love of ST has absolutely nothing to do with GT– she started trying to get close to him to get close to GT buy she loves him for his own sake. I think ST needed someone to love him for his sake and his sake alone.
