Finished the first episode of Flower of Evil. I’m intrigued, but not fully invested. Am I the only one who desperately (when I say desperately, I mean desperately) wants Hee-song/Hyun-soo to not be totally evil, to be framed or something else like that? See his life with Eun-ha and Ji-won, as well as how much Ji-won seems to genuinely love, I feel like I would be very sad if it was all a charade (or worse, if he did actually love her but also turned out to be as evil as the teasers for this show have intimated). Also, I love LJG, so like it will be weird to find a serial killer attractive (by weird, I mean abhorrent and disturbing).

    totally evil?
He is not at all evil..

the show is a damper actually, given i thought we would get a grey character.. but he is clearly the misunderstood heart of gold

I’ll take misunderstood heart of gold. With this set up, that’s what I would want.

Don’t worry, HS’s not a serial killer. He’s not nice – like, he DOES keep someone for days in a secret dungeon -, but at least for my moral compass – which is admittedly askew when it comes to dramas -, it’s ok to find him hot

“…which is admittedly askew when it comes to dramas.. “, you nailed it!!!

Ha! I think your comment finally persuaded me to give this drama a shot.
