@eazel did you watch “Watcher” on viki? I have been contemplating starting this drama however I have noticed that viki epsiodes sometimes do not include some small scenes. They did this in WYWS and in “The Package” too, granted the scenes were cute and insignificant in the whole not affecting the progression of the story but it still annoys me. Since this is a crime show I was wondering if they did this here as well? It doesn’t matter if it was just a small cute moment, I still want that viki!! (I kinda dig cute moments between leads or any other characters especially in crime shows). So did you feel like they did this in this here as well?

I watched Watcher at Viki but had no idea if they cut any scenes. Not noticing anything is perhaps a sign of ok?

Same here didn’t notice anything. Granted, there wasn’t much sweet in Watcher, but it’s tightly written, and brilliantly acted!

Yes I guess it is a good thing eventhough the scenes cut in WYWS and The Package aren’t that noticeable if you don’t already know about it. I’m still going to watch on viki tho cuz watching on the app on mobile is way easier and convenient than having to watch on laptop, sigh.

I didn’t watch on Viki then.
But my sister did and she didn’t find anything out of place.
I know what you mean: Viki sometimes changes the music (there are songs that are not played which is really odd because you can read the subs but no song) and in When the weather is fine I believe some books, poems were also censured (I didn’t watch this one on Viki either). I just don’t know why they do it.
Most recent drama that I’ve seen it happened was Healer, with some songs and dialogs. The subs didn’t match what was happening.

I too didn’t watch “when the wheather is fine” on viki but heard about viki censoring some books and poems and also muting some songs in other dramas. This is what I’m afraid of when I start watching “Watcher” but your sister and PYC and FlyColours not noticing anything is a good sign. Sigh, I’ll just watch it here, it’s very convenient too.

And the story is a bit complicated but you can follow it perfectly unless you’re always distracted by the Korean Greek God (aka SKJ) which distracted me so much I had to replay some scenes 🤣🤣🤣
Oh, I wish we had a second season *sighs*

I’m mostly always replaying scenes on crime/thriller shows so I’m pretty sure I’m going to be doing that here as well heh

MeloMe definitely check out WATCHER which was one of my favorite dramas of 2019. Seo Kang-joon was fantastic and his physicality rated 5 stars. If you only know SKJ as the sweet guy in WEATHER you are in for a treat.
I don’t recall thinking at the time I watched that something was missing.
You remind me of something though and is related to SKJ’s ARE YOU HUMAN TOO? On DramaFever (late of happy memory) scenes with Nam Shin II (Lee Joo-chan) would up on the cutting room floor and I was super annoyed.
Going down SKJ memory lane. Nam Shin I, II and III together:

That is Lee Joo-chan (II), SKJ (III) and little Oh Han-kyul (I).
