I wonder if Jung Haein will ever take on a lead role in a sageuk… I feel like he has That Face that people like seeing in period dramas. Imagine him doing like a Moonlight Drawn By Clouds kind of thing (but better). I’d be down to watch that.
As I’ve recently discovered! After watching Prison Playbook I’ve been wondering why he’s been going for those slow-paced romances. He can do a lot more!
Agreed! I actually thought that he was a bit boring until I finally watched Prison Playbook and discovered that he has all this potential. I hope his next pick (possibly that jtbc project by the sky castle team?) has him playing a role that gives him the room to use the chops he has!
I haven’t caught any of his movies, but I’m interested now. Any recommendations?
Honestly, I was so happy with his last drama (and he’s generally a great actor, notwithstanding some questionable previous drama choices) that I’ll watch anything he decides to do next.

I hope so. He looked really nice in the fusion sageuk “The Three Musketeers”.

He’s done quite a lot of those in movies.
I really want to see him in something dark that expands on what we saw of him in Prison Playbook
